We took our puppy here for her first grooming. It was awful. I am SO upset. We specifically and clearly said that we did not want our puppy shaved, and they shaved her. The tech who groomed her showed us that our puppy had some matting and explained she would have to shave the mats off because that was the only way to do it (even though it’s not), and we expressed our concern about that due to her breed and coat health. So the tech said she would not shave it to the skin and she would just cut the mats out and keep our puppy evened out and it would still be fine. It’s not fine at all. It’s so blotchy and uneven. On one leg she is shaved down to her pink skin, which ruins her coat and skin. The trim around her face is a terrible cut. It’s the worst cut I’ve ever seen. Almost $160 later and we are so upset. The tech was also so rude and nasty. She said my puppy “was pretty good… for a sheepdog.” I’m honestly not sure she’s ever groomed any type of dog before this, let alone a sheepdog. Our puppy was traumatized and jumped the gate and kept running away from the tech, which is not like her. She loves the vet, loves daycare, loves her walkers, loves people. Never had an issue until dealing with this tech and this place, so they obviously mistreated her too. I walked out and cried in my car. We’ll never go back and do not recommend this place to anyone. It’s so awful.

We love taking our dog to You Lucky Dog! They always do an amazing job at cleaning our Shiba Inu. He smells soooo good after!The ladies who work there are very accommodating and communicative. You can tell they genuinely love working with the dogs. The prices are on the higher side, but it’s worth it if you need your doggo cleaned well.

I have recently been going to this grooming service for my dog Miracle because it’s near by to home only a few blocks away. I got my dog from her prior owner all matted up and dingy looking. But, after taking her here she was a brand new dog! And she always comes home smelling AMAZINGGGGG. I saw Miracle looking as good as she’s ever looked since I’ve gotten her.While Miracle doesn’t really let them get to her face as much as the rest of her body she does still come out looking better than she walks in.Price point : $70 for a full treatment5/5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

It was my first time coming here & I can say I had the BEST experience. Gina & her staff are super friendly & welcoming. As soon as I came in they asked me what I wanted my dog's cut to look like and she executed it EXACTLY the way i asked. I went there for the first time a few months ago, my dog needed the butt thing done tmi his butt was swollen already and he needed it urgently (small dogs need it every few months) they were so gentle with him, and fixed the issue. They also left him really cute smelling good and fashionable, they cut his nails just exactly to not hurt him and polished them well. Going again soon! This is Thor's place to go! He always looks, feels, smells awesome!. Thor hated getting his nails clipped and would have such anxiety and put up such a fight. Not with Gina! She handles him with patience and love. Her grooming technique 's are amazing. Whether it's, just a trim, in-between or very short, he always looks beautiful! The same goes for her coworker (I'm so sorry. I forgot your name). They both work so hard and do a wonderful job. AND they are both very sweet, professional and so friendly. Thor and I really appreciate you and all the hard work you do for our furry babies. ❤️❤️The prices are ridiculously affordable! They have multiple packages you can choose from. I do advise to book your appointment way in advance due to furry babies hogging appointments 🤣 and awesome groomers being soo busy. ❤️🐶Have a wonderful day! 😊

Took good care of my dog’s grooming and for the past year i have been a repeat customer. Can try to fit me in if I’m a last minute scheduler but not always a perfect thing. Can watch them groom from outside and they don’t uses cages

Called to make a bath appointment for my senior dog who has bad hind legs and its now too difficult for me to bathe in my tub. When asked for her breed- shes a Sharpei, they asked "a WHAT?". I has told them it was her first time and they immediately told me Sharpeis are "temperamental dogs" and they couldn't take her. What the hell? She is the sweetest most humble dog and has never given me trouble during bath time. The only reason I called was so that she would not get hurt while in my tub if she slipped.Putting a negative label off the bat on a breed is NOT ok!I would never take a "TeMpeREmeNtAl" senior dog to a grooming facility.The least they could do is ask to bring them in so they can see such "tempetament" before saying no.

You need to tell them very clear on what service you need. Came in for a basic bubble bath, and they added on dishes treatment and nail for extra $20 without my permission and want to charge me for something I didn’t asked for. AVOID!

took my dog here for grooming, while i was somewhat satisfied he started having allergies from whatever they used on him(even though i had brought my own shampoo for him) and his skin was red and itchy! then a few days later he got warts and he could not have gotten this from another dog because we have stayed home since then. Not to mention it has been over 2 years since i last brought him there and did not even ask me to give proof of vaccines while other dogs were in the same room and being groomed

Best groomer that my small dog has visited - they seem to be really considerate and gentle (especially since my dog still gets scared of grooming). You generally have to book an appointment a few weeks out, but I guess that just speaks to their popularity!

Everytime I take Leo here I'm always welcomed with a smile. The staff are super professional and are always on time. He always leaves smelling amazing!!!! I wouldn't go anywhere else, every time Leo gets groomed and I walk him out side I get so many compliments asking where did I get him groomed, and I always say You Lucky Dog, it's a must if you have a companion.

I've been using You Lucky Dog for years through 2 of their location change. I've tried other services in the area but nothing compares! Not just the amazing haircuts but also the treatment. They don't cage him for hours. They give them breaks and my dog doesn't come back looking like he's been through trauma.

I won’t go anywhere else for my doodle and maltipoo. Gina is amazing! She’s the only groomer I have found so far who’s able to groom my little cranky maltipoo without a muzzle. My dogs come home happy - if they’re happy, mom is happy!

Not recommended for long haired dogs. They wouldn’t work through mats and said we had to shave portions and then didn’t blend the shaved areas. Very disappointed.

you lucky dog is downstairs from my apartment so i had to give them a shot since my 1 dog dislikes the car. thankfully they’re able to handle my high strung german shepard and make him fluffy and handsome.
