At this point, just close it down. It's no longer 24 hours truly. The overnight staff locks it and refuses to open the door talking about theft. Fine. Then don't be a 24 hour store anymore. Put new signage up with the actual hours people can go in. It's not difficult. Even if it's a one off occasion, put signage up. I stopped coming here months ago for my prescriptions. Don't think I'll be coming back for anything else. Also, whoever buys the makeup for the store, please look at your demographic in the area. No dark shades, really?

This review is not out of anger but after multiple disappointing engagements with this Walgreens Pharmacy. I fill my prescription every six months and I’ve had a problem every time. The pharmacy is never ready with your medicine and I’ve been asked to wait multiple times for long hours. They will never fill your prescription on time even if they have been given a week. It’s very inconvenient and they are particularly rude about it. Even if you offer to wait, they’ll call you to come pick it up and not have it ready. Worst Walgreens Ever.

I transferred to this pharmacy about 6 months ago after moving to the area. If you need to pick up a prescription, plan for at LEAST a thirty minute visit. I pick up my monthly meds here and it takes about that long (or longer) every single time. There is always a line both inside and out with at least 7-10 people/cars deep. For the first few months I filled here, there were always issues. Once, they put my meds back on the shelf just 3 days after it was filled, so I had to give them time to fill it again and come back. The pharmacist was extremely rude about it. Another time they didn’t fill my script because my address on file was my old, Newark address and they said they didn’t understand why I was filling my meds “so far away.” First, Newark is 15 minutes. Second, who cares? Pretty sure it was just an excuse because the meds went unfilled for so long and they more than likely overlooked the script.Anyway, Walgreens Corporate needs to step in and give this pharmacy an overhaul. It is an absolute nightmare - and that’s putting it lightly.

They never answer the phone just keep you on hold forever and when they do answer its a hellscape of an experience trying to get on the same page with them. Currently writing this while I'm sitting on hold, I've heard them pick up and put me back on hold several times... no greeting or anything yet lol.Rough experience every time at the pharmacy and I don't even know if I can fully blame the pharmacists because it's probably a combination of burnout from dealing with frustrated customers and corporate on the other end not giving them enough staff/support. I've worked in service jobs before and get it but damn the consistency of terrible service is what gets me. It's very rare that I don't need to set aside at least an hour to deal with this pharmacy. By the way, still on hold as I write this. They've probably "answered" and put me back on hold at least 10 times at this point.While I can empathize with the fact that the circumstances are probably being made worse by corporate and not the staff members themselves- there are absolutely no customer service standards being held at this location which only makes the issue more obvious and frustrating. Yikes man. By the way, still on hold.

The manager GISELLE doesn't have no experience with customer service I did a transaction at a register to do cash back next thing you know they told me it was voided the money will be back on my account and im telling them and showing my account was taken $10 but didnt care about it so now i lost 10 dollars cause they telling me it will be back on my card they couldn't even print me a receipt next day money never deposited on my account like i was telling them they did a mistake but didn't want to deal with it had to call my bank the next day and tell them I got a fraudulent transaction on my account when they could of easily gave me my money and a receipt like a normal cashier would do..

Price Gouging defines them. Refused to lift a finger to help me during a med emergency, had to transfer my scrp to a different pharmacy to avoid paying 775 for meds that cost me 40 elsewhere. STAY AWAY, STAY FAR AWAY.

Walgreens in general just sucks. Their website says nothing at all about having to schedule a PCR in a car. I scheduled my PCR and they told me it was drive thru service only and to get an Uber. anytime I have come here for anything besides picking up overpriced items in a pinch it is mismanaged. Cops here for security are always on their phones. No customer service number to call. Have to keep using this pharmacy but otherwise will not spend a cent at a Walgreens ever.

The pharmacy dept is the worse. Whenever I call, they put you on hold for a long time without even answering the call. The lines are always long whether you go inside or drive through. They definitely need to hire more people for the pharmacy.

Stay away! My wife and I made appointments today to get our booster shot. When we got there we were told to stay in line with the people who were picking up prescriptions. There were around 15 people in line and it wasn’t moving. After 10 minutes we asked the pharmacist what’s the point of waiting in line if we have an appointment and it’s past our appointment time. She rolled her eyes and told us to get back in line. Looked at us like we were garbage and told us she’s understaffed. How is this our problem?! We left and are now at Akme Pharmacy were they take walk ins and are friendly and efficient.

This pharmacy is consistently horrible. The pharmacy staff are likely suffering because they need help. Unfortunately their frustration is taken out on the customers.. I’ve had terrible service here, I dread interacting with pharmacy staff. Please hire more people! The lines are long. If you call ahead, be prepared to wait for at least 20 minutes (on a good day) for someone to answer. And then all that waiting only to find out they’re out of stock. I wonder if the pharmacy peeps have raised this question already and they’re just not being listened to. All the reviews are saying the same thing — there is a legitimate problem with this pharmacy.Also, the phone tree needs work.The store itself is great. The staff is always helpful and the store is clean and organized.

I booked an appointment for a Covid vaccine online, and when I showed up for my appointment, the pharmacist told me that the vaccine was not in stock and I could not receive the vaccine. I should not be able to make an appointment online if the vaccine is not available!

I came into to take a picture for a passport. I expressed that I needed to upload it online due to me renewing online. I was told they don’t provide digital copies. I get home and take pictures of the hard copy photo I was given. Which didn’t work file was too compressed. I call the store, photo dept isn’t picking up. I talked to the manager and express the same above. She stated to come in, they do offer a usb. I would not be charge for the inconvenience, I come back in the morning and another manager is here giving me a hard time. Now I’ve been standing here waiting for over 30mins for a usb.

Slow. They don’t answer the phone. Took me 3 days to get a script transferred from another pharmacy, and when I came in at the end of a workday to pick it up, the pharmacy is completely closed 3 minutes before their posted hours. I have never seen that in my whole life

Walgreens is like a one stop shop for all your needs. Besides having a pharmacy and photo center, they carry beauty aids to toiletries to household items to nutritional supplements to food. One really can't go wrong shopping there. And they always have savings every day. So it's a win win situation all the time for the customer. Kudos to Walgreens.

Just don’t go here. The line is always wrapped around the store no matter what time you go. The pharmacy is a hot mess that never knows what is going on. I have issues every single time I come here for anything. There are several other drugstores in the area. Literally pick any other one.

This Walgreens has improved somewhat over the past several months. It seems like they're short-staffed in the pharmacy, but doing their best. The main store often has a very long line, and the refrigerated/frozen food section is a mess.

I'm not coming to this location at 3 am for fun. I'm coming because I don't feel well and need something to help. But the doors are locked and no one to answer the phone. If this isn't a 24 hour location, adjust the hours.

Walgreens is a great one stop shop for everyone. From good to beauty aids to personal care items to household items, they have everything you need except meat. 😂 Plus they have a photo section. I just love doing there and your will too. I forgot to mention. They have an incredible assortment of candies and chocolate. OMG!!! Kudos to Walgreens!!!

Pharmacy never picks up the phone and when they do they don't even answer they just put you on hold over and over again until you give up. Pharmacy drive thru is also a joke, the wait is RIDICULOUS. Make sure you take off of work if you plan on picking up your prescription via the drive thru. As a store it's okay. Pharmacy SUCKS!

Just wanted to share my experience at this Walgreens today. I went in to pick up a prescription for both of my children. When I arrived of course it wasn’t ready but that’s expected because it was really busy. 2nd they “didn’t” have the prescription for one of my children. I called the office and they confirmed they sent both and still resent if for me. Again they stated they only received one script. Waited 20-30 min ask if they received and they said no. I asked if they could call the drs office and they said no they were too busy. I’ve been in healthcare 20 year; 10 in the hospital and 10 at an urgent care clinic. I’ve always worked in drs offices for 5 years. So I have customer service background and was appalled at how unhelpful they were. The pharmacist has an attitude the girl at the register didn’t want to help at all, they refused to talk to the office on my phone, they refused to call the office themselves, they refused to call another Walgreens to see if they had the medication available because of course they didn’t even have the medication available to begin with. So total time there 1 hr and at the end still had to go to another pharmacy to pick up the meds.

This pharmacy is HORRIBLE!! I had a prescription sent here from the ER, and it so happens that they don’t take my insurance. So instead of doing a courtesy of forwarding it to another pharmacy, which will probably take about 2 mins to do on their computer, they want me to have the other pharmacy call them and ask them for the prescription. So now I’m playing middle man between both pharmacies and Walgreens doesn’t answer the phone!! They had me and the other pharmacy on hold for 20mins and just hung up on me. SO DISGUSTING AND UNPROFESSIONAL!!

One of the worst pharmacies I've ever been to. Rude pharmacy tech lies about the time it takes for medicine to enter the system. The pharmacy tech Jason was unethical and tried to postpone the delivery of a medicine to me when the patient who needed it was sick. He did not bother looking into it, and when we asked to speak with someone else, he transferred the call to voicemail. Do not go here. Walgreens corporate needs to run a cleaning sweep on this place's pharmacy. It's clear that they've hired rude, inept, and incompetent staff.
