My mother and I have always brought our dog here since she was a puppy. Now that I moved back to Jersey City, NJ and I needed my dog for a spa day. She looks amazing and they send you some pictures after they cut your dog's hair. It was such a small gesture. However, this was great deal for me that I had to write this review. I'm extremely pleased.

Emily was very kind and nurturing to my dog. She was able to squeeze us in for the next day. She’s great at cutting the nails too! I loved the haircut! The price was also very fair for my little guy.

Absolutely love, it’s so hard to find a groomer for poms that won’t mess up their hair. They trimmed and cleaned him up perfectly. The staff was so friendly and patient with him. He’s a very nervous pup, and by the time I picked him up he was smiling.. literally lol Emily was his groomer, very knowledgeable of his type of hair growth and gave him the perfect cut.Pricing was in normal range for a Pom. I had a really positive interaction with Glamour Pet Salon. It was a little difficult to get someone on the phone but once I scheduled the appointment for my little guy everything was smooth. They had him done on time and the cut looked great! They charged me what I was quoted and my dog has so proud of his haircut he was bouncing around on the street.

Hello all,We recently moved back to Jersey City and we were in dire need of a groomer here. We found GPS&S. It was a lovely experience. First of all the lounge where you bring your pup is top notch, it looks like a cigar lounge. The staff is great and they communicate very well. Thor was a bit nervous, but the ladies were kind, he let his groomer pick him right up. Also the place smells quiet nice.Our Thor looked like a handsome little prince, so we of course want to bring him back. Thank you for treating my furry child like a prince.

Absolute Perfection. My dogs, Cannoli & Zeppole, love this place so much - they pull me all the way to the door. The owner cares about the dogs as if they were her own. Wonderful staff and the shop is the most beautiful I have ever seen. A TRUE spa day for the dogs - especially with the blueberry facial. My dogs look pristine every single time and smell great for weeks!!! I will NEVER go anywhere else.

Did a really good job on my young dog Russell. He looked and smelled great, was super soft, all his nails were trimmed, and most importantly he was happy!Really appreciated that they gave me feedback on how he did while grooming and cut his fur just as I asked.The young woman doing the grooming was professional and friendly. Pricing is market rate. Only caveat is that it can be difficult to get a timely appointment so you should book early.Highly recommend this place if you’re in the area!

Cute place with old world decor, smells strongly of incense and candles. Guess you have to when dealing with animals. I took him for a grooming which i thought included teeth, nails, and glands. I was wrong everything was separately charged and over priced i paid 85$ for a wash cut & nail filling. He only had long hair on top of hus head, his bidy was already shaved from last groom so he was growing the hair out. Not much to cut just wash and brush with a little off on top. I asked for mohawk, was lottle thick but they trimmed it down when i asked. Although he smelled soo good and felt soft as a bear im still on fence on whether or not i should return. I think i will on special occasions for that nice fluff and smell. I also would like to say that the front desk person should be a lot more friendlier to her customers. First off I was not made aware of the prices until i asked and when i did your tone, body language and lack of eye contact was disrespectful. You seem uninterested in engaging with me a customer who was there for the first time and had no knowledge of price/ protocol. This is my experience and would appreciate if you dont respond to this review any longer i am not engaging in any type of rude behavior online nor in my life in general. First of all, I want to apologize for the rug in the picture. It slid off the tape so there's a dirty strip. 🙈I've been meaning to take my corgi, Trixie, here for ages. Well, she got her first spa day today and she looks GREAT! She came out with a pep in her step and overjoyed barks! She even came out with a super cute accessory around her neck! The entire walk home whe was bouncing and running, feeling refreshed and happy. Plus, she got treats. The sure-fire way into her heart. ❤She got a bath with shampoo and conditioner, brush, teeth cleaning, ear cleaning, and a nail trim, and it was only 65 dollars! ( price does vary from breed to breed, so please don't think that it's standard. ) My husband immediately noticed her teeth which says that they take the time to properly clean. The appointment itself was only about 90 minutes, so your pet comes out sparkling quick.All-in-all the groomer is fantastic, the facility is gorgeous, and the staff are polite, friendly, and adore pets. I will say to drop by for a hello and some information. I'll be taking our little WiggleWorm back here again. ❤

The whole process is simple and the results are always amazing. I usually drop off my pup and go to the mall so the convenience is a plus. The wait is long enough to get what you need and short enough to stop your SO from spending all your money. 😅

We have been coming here for 9 years, multiple times a year. As a long standing customer you would think we would be treated with kindness. I've never EVER been spoken to so rudely in my life. We were a little late for our appointment and I was verbally blasted in the store for being late; told its as important as arrive for a doctor (btw usually 15mins is grace period for even a doctor). When I asking if they can still cut the dogs hair, she proceeded to yell at me again but say they would do what they could. There was no hair cut and I was aggressively charged for a bath.We will not be back. It was such a harsh experience and overcharged (again, I know the prices for 9years)... I guess they have space to lose customers. Best of luck.

My shih tzu looks perfect, possibly the best cut she’s had in her 7 years. Price was reasonable for a long-haired dog and they were QUICK! Will absolutely be returning. Thank you!

Glamour Pet does a beautiful job with my Australian Labradoodle. She comes home clean and perfectly trimmed. I wouldn't trust just anyone with my dog. In fact I took my late dog Angus to Glamour Pet as well. I think they are the best in JC. Thank you Lis!

Me and my partner have been trying to find a groomer in NJ that we liked. Haven't had much luck until I went online and came across Glamour Pet Salon and Vanity. As soon as I walked in, I was impressed. The staff was very friendly towards my dog Max and myself.( I could tell he felt comfortable too). Though it took longer than I'm used to- I was super happy with what I saw when my little Max came out. He smelled amazing and though I paid more than I usually do, I was extremely happy with it and will definitely come back!

I've been going to Glamour Pet Salon and Spa for about 3 years now. I always get great customer service, and the quality of the wash and haircut is excellent! They are very efficient, and the coat is consistent. His coat is always soft, shiny and smelling great, not to mention the cute collars and bandanas he adorns after he's done. They take care of my dog as if it was their own. Even when I'm walking him somewhere and we so happen to run into the owner, he greets her!I'm excited to see their new location on Marin Blvd!!

I’m very happy with the job they do for my Miley! The groomer is a perfectionist, I can tell! My little Maltese who has long hair, sometimes gets very bad mats, but the groomer always manages to brush them out! She always comes back mat-free, smelling sooo good, with perfect hair cut and a new bow as a gift. They always call back if there is some changes of haircut plan or price. Nice people! Big love <3

Went here a couple of times earlier in the year 2021. There was a nice lady working at the desk, making appointments was smooth and the services were satisfactory. Then something changed. The young lady stopped working there and someone else took over (I presume the owner?).When trying to make my next appointment somewhere around June, all of a sudden "we are booked until next year." I found this to be odd that I was making appointments a week ahead of time and now they are booked solid for 6 months. Anyway, I setup 6 monthly appointments starting Feb 2022 until June 2022 and went to another groomer in the meantime.I received an automated text to confirm my Feb appointment. I replied to cancel. I also called the business 3 times that same day to cancel but no one picked up the phone. Come the morning of the appointment, the new representative calls me about my appointment. I explained that I texted her and called 3x. She became rude and said because I did not leave a voicemail, I'd have to pay a cancellation fee. I suppose there is merit to her not actually receiving a cancellation message, but then again, why are you choosing to run your business over text and phone if your customers aren't able to text you BACK and you don't PICK UP THE PHONE?She ended up hanging up on me saying "I don't have time for this" and cancelled all my future appointments.In summary, haircuts were always satisfactory, but I won't be coming here anymore due to the rude service. There are also a ton of other grooming places in the area. Guess she can afford to lose the customer! Hope thisreview helps the next person.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff! They were booked pretty far in advance, it’s worth the wait, but be sure to call ahead! I have a papillon who I brush regularly but still had some matting on her back legs. They called in advance to talk to me about the de-matting fee before they did anything, and I really appreciated that!My dog has never felt SO soft and they were able to work out those impossible mats, she also smelled amazing!!Wonderful experience overall! Will definitely be booking again!

Upon reading such good reviews, my wife and I were scheduled to have my dog groomed at Glamour. When we arrived, we were disappointed to hear that our appointment had been cancelled because they had tried to call to confirm our appointment but could not get a hold of us. As it turns out, whoever booked the appointment wrote down the wrong phone number. When I asked to speak to the manager, I was told that she was the manager for the day and that there was nothing that they could do to accommodate us. At the very least, we asked if they could just trim her eyebrows, but were once again denied, due to lack of a table (we even offered to hold the dog in our lap while they did it). The weekend manager made no attempt to remedy a situation that was their fault, a fact of which I reminded them (the manager even admitted that it may have been her who made the mistake when I called to make the appointment. I advised that person that we would probably not give them our business going forward, which the weekend manager acknowledged. I left the store, but actually decided to go back, offering to reschedule but I wanted the weekday manager or owner to call me back, as I felt as though I deserved some compensation for their error. The weekend manager told me that they would text my information to the right person, but wouldn't guarantee that I would receive a call back. I was then informed that next Saturday was fully booked and that the closest appointment they could give me was Friday. At that point, I told the weekend manager to forget it and walked out.I understand that they have limited resources, both physically and personally, but I was incredibly disappointed and frustrated by the complete lack of any effort to try to remedy a situation that was clearly the business’ fault, be it offering me a discount, assuring me that I would receive a call back from the weekday manager or owner, or trying to find a way to reschedule my appointment at my convenience. I can't speak for the quality of Glamour's work, but I can say that their inability to offer any remediation for their error reflects such poor customer service. It's fair to say that I will not be rescheduling an appointment at Glamour.

I've been going to Glamour Pets for quite a while now and I love it just as much as the first time I stepped foot into this place, their the best I would never go anywhere else and I am sure you wont either if you gave them a try. I had horrible experiences everywhere else and I am very choosy with the way my puppies are groomed. They are always happy to go and return from Glamour Pets, its the best grooming place in Jersey..

I am so disgusted at what they did to my Maltese. My daughter took my dog there and when she picked her up they had shaved all her hair off without consent. I told my daughter she should have not paid for the services If her hair was that matted i should have been contacted as to their plan so that way I could make the decision on whether or not if that's how I wanted to take care of the situation. I don't know who the groomers are but it's like they just said I'm going to shave it instead of trying to comb it out and just cut out the matted areas. Since her visit to this spa my dog has not been eating, barking or playing, she just lays around and sleep. She is sick and it's something that happen at this spa. Because she was not like that before she was taken there. She will never go back to this spa. Never ever again. HORRIBLE!!!!!

During this pandemic, my husband and I had been grooming Maximillian, our furry son, and have been botching the job. We took Max to Glamour Pet Salon, where he received the best full grooming services! He had an even cut, teeth brushed, nails clipped, and anal glands expelled. To top it all off, he smelled so good and looked so dapper in his bowtie. What a transformation! It is difficult to get an early appointment, so I was sure to schedule one in advance.
