I can not begin to express my extreme gratitude for the team at the Hillside CVS pharmacy. I lost my wallet billfold which contained my driver’s license and credit cards while shopping in the store. I didn’t notice it until the next day. I went back to the store to trace my steps and no luck. I then asked the gentleman at the front checkout counter and he was holding it for me! I am forever grateful to him and all the employees who helped me. It restored my hope in humanity. There are still decent people in this world! Thank you again CVS employees!

The pharmacy department is super quick and the people there never fail to make me smile. Especially the brown girl that works there and wears a hijab!

Called around 2pm for my prescription to be transferred, they said it’ll take 30mins - 1hr to get it transferred & ready from the ER. I got a call back from a pharmacist named REMI (very rude, needs customer service training) at 7PM talking about “Ma’am I am calling you back.. first of all we don’t have the prescription you need & the pharmacy is closed now so we can’t get in contact with them so you have to come tomorrow instead anyways.” but i called back because how do I call at 2pm & told it was going to be ready then get a call back 5hrs later talking about they don’t have it??? Nicole from the pharmacy department answered & made it possible for me to get my prescription the same day in under 15 minutes <3 she had me call the ER and was more than happy to talk to them for me to get the information she needed to get me my medication! LOVE HER & HER KINDNESS!!!! We need more people like Nicole.

I have been getting the same prescription at CVS for the last 3 yrs. Literally, nothing changes. On 4/15/ 2022 I went to refill and the pharmacist changed things around even after I told them it was wrong. I never pay since I use my insurance and a coupon, I always get 3 months worth so I don't have to do mail order. Due to H, also, pharmacist, I can't get my trelegy and my copay is over$500. I always seen to have issues at that store and it seems like no one keeps notes on file. Review previous orders and u can see I don't pay. I'm tired of always fixing there mistakes and someone or this pharmacist needs to be held accountable. CVS always has me do the additional work when this company messes up. Horrible place , I need to change pharmacy asap!

This pharmacy department is the worst by far. I was on hold from 3:30 to 5 pm and still no one picked up in the pharmacy. I called back the next day at 9 am and sat on hold once again for 40 mins this time. Finally they answered I gave my updated insurance information and waited all day to hear back for my updated pricing to pick up my 5 prescriptions. No call so I then called back at 7:30 pm and was on hold for another 30 mins only to get the pharmacist on the phone(who sound exactly like the one I spoke to in the morning) who told me that he had no insurance information on file for me and that he could not take my information tonight. And I would have to wait until the next day for him to enter it and get my medication because he was too busy to do it at that time. So now I’m out of my blood pressure medication for three days. Oh and they said the reason that I was on hold for hours the previous day was due to the fact that they had no pharmacist. This is ridiculous for a pharmacy.

If you dont have to use this pharmacy, don’t. The store itself, and its employees…great. But the pharmacy…horrible. Turnover rate for techs and pharmacists is astounding. If you like having your call ring out 20x only to be picked up on and placed on a 30 minute hold which ends in a disconnect, then this pharmacy is the one for you 🤦🏾♀️Like me, you too will end up with CVS corporate customer relations on speed dial.

What’s going on with the CVS in hillside being disrespectful to their customers I went to pick up my daughters medicine and it wasn’t ready (even though left the prescription at 3pm and was told it would be ready in 2 hours) I was asked to wait 20min while I was waiting one of the pharmacist yelled at a lady in the drive up window being very rude and nasty. After the 20 min was up I went to ask for the medicine and the pharmacist told the cashier well she needs to wait longer because it’s not ready she told me I had a lot of people ahead of me waiting i asked if they can transfer the prescription to the CVS in union they told me no I called the union store and they said I could but that in their system it said the prescription was ready in Hillside I just had to ask for it the pharmacist in Hillside told me no its not ready and that I had to wait until she was done with the 20 customer that were before me. Both of those employees were very rude and nasty.

Horrible customer service in the pharmacy. Drive thru states that they’re closed between 1:30 and 2:00. I arrived at 1:15 and the staff CLOSED THE WINDOW EARLY, looked at me and walked away. The Hispanic woman with a ponytail is the one who walked off. Some customers CANNOT walk around and my health was put at risk because they can’t handle their job. Closing early with “idc” attitude makes this establishment look terrible. Do better.

Wish I could give 0 stars I walked in to purchase but I asked to use the restroom first the manager (a male) was very nasty and made me wait while he moved boxes, I waited. He then made me wait while he fixed and end cap, I waited. As he walked away from me, I followed him assuming he was showing me to the restroom (as I am not all from or familiar with this area and they had no signs for restroom) he turned around and snapped stating “don’t you know where the door is go wait by it” with that being said I left the store . I’ll continue to go to Walgreens in my own town where they don’t treat people like trash.

Now this is specifically for the pharmacy, the store outside of the pharmacy isn't great either but I feel obligated to warn of the pharmacy because although they seem to think that getting the prescriptions to customers in a timely manner is optional, it is in fact, not. I think I'd probably get my prescriptions faster and with more accuracy if I applied for pharmacy school and just went through the process of becoming a pharmacist myself. And it does not matter how much time you give them, if you wait for them to call and say the prescription is ready or show up when THEY tell you, it is never ready in 30 minutes, or an hour! I once waited 4 days for a prescription, I just kept going back and no one seemed to understand why I was there. But the best part, the absolute gem was me showing up to pick up two prescriptions and being told they only had one and asking ME what the prescription was supposed to be for. After I GAVE them the physical prescription pads, two hours prior. I haven't gone to pharmacy school yet! Give me a second before I memorize all the names! I have given this "pharmacy" multiple chances and shan't be using them anymore but just wanted to put this warning out so that my conscience is clear! Wish me luck at pharmacy school y'all!

Was there a few days ago, needed to ship a package and kept the package on the table to go purchase some gloves, coming back, they wanted me to go back to the queue which didn’t make no sense, however; I went back to the queue and was having a discussion with the front desk and the manager, the dark skinned lady was rude and very unprofessional. I was telling her that wasn’t the right thing to do, she told the front desk to stop shipping my orders and said she was going to call the cops on me for pointing out her flaws, I was in a haste to ship those package and had to leave, I wish I had much time, I really wanted to see the cops so I can deal with her. Please do not come to the store, I gave up on them and wanted to make sure I told everyone on here how that store operates.

I really don't understand how this CVS pharmacy in Hillside, is still open.🤔 Drive tru is always a problem with getting prescription correct. They close the drive tru and 3 individuals (1 being the pharmacist) behind the pharmacy counter and there is still a line. Obviously they don't know what they are doing. I suggest hiring new staff in that department or just close down. I have complained to corporate because they refused to refill a prescription that was due for a refill. Conclusions waiting lines at drive tru or inside are still ridiculously long and it takes them forever to do anything. When you call them they never pick up the phone. Even my insurance company had the same issue.

I recently broke my ankle and had surgery, my sister drove me to the pharmacy upon discharge from the hospital. The window service was not helpful at all and they claimed they were reaching out to my insurance company because they wouldn’t put the prescription through. I called the insurance company and they said no one called them to ask why the prescription was denied. If someone from the staff had just called they would have told them it needed to be changed from a ten day request to a 7 day. No one cares anymore. Farewell CVS

Pharmacy was very unprofessional. Our doctor was speaking to the pharmacist to figure out a lower costing medication for our patient and was trying to give the pharmacist alternatives. However, the pharmacist told the doctor she did not have enough time to check the costs of the medications. Our goal is to help the patient and wish the pharmacy would be more cooperative and would think they also have the same goal.

Today, I went in for 5 seconds today and only asked if there was an ups drop off location. BEFORE I even finished my sentence a small woman worker that was stocking a front shelf by the cash register cut me off and told me I have to leave, they dont assist in packaging anything and won't assist if package isn't closed and said something that you NEVER say inretail "GO SOMEWHERE". Never felt so offended. I know it's just 1 store but I'm never going back to this location and praying they tighten up their HR because they hired HORRIBLE customer friendly workers.

I arrived to CVS Hillside with about 20 minutes to spare before their pharmacy dept. closed. There were about 2 people in line ahead of me, one being the individual that was being serviced. Fast forward ten more minutes and I am still waiting in line to be serviced, at 8:50pm the drop off window was shut down. I do not know if this standard practice however I feel if your hours are listed until a certain time you should remain working until that time.I’ve worked in retail before so I already know this means you are not going to get the world’s greatest service and should not have been surprised at what happened next. I get up to the window, give all my info, and am told my prescription is just about done and they would be back. I stand another ten minutes while they look for my prescription only to be advised it was on hold and they were not sure why. I was advised to call back in the morning for more information, I just called and was told the hold was due to needing updated insurance info and they could have taken that last night.I do understand working a long day and wanting to go home but that does not excuse the poor customer service CVS provided. Hopefully the next go round will be better.

I was so hurt with the level of customer service the pharmacy associates showed me. I asked a question and the one pharmacist had such an attitude with a look of disgust, she rolled her eyes at me and didn’t answer my question. Another gentleman in the front was rude as well. What’s wrong y’all pharmacy. If you don’t like people than work with computers. Horrible service!! I rather drive to Union

Went to take my 8 month old daughter for passport pictures and the manager Rasheed W. was very professional, showed much patience, and very nice. He made an effort assuring the picture met passport regulations for infants no matter how many attempts. I will recommend this CVS to anyone.

They need to close this CVS, in Hillside, NJ I call and was put on hold for about two hours, I want to transfer my medication to Rite Aid , CVS had them hold for a hour Rite Aid told me they could not wait on hold that long for me to get in touch with my doctor. I look there are a lot of complaints about this CVS.

The is the worse pharmacy I know. The staff just changed over about the middle of the summer and since then this pharmacy has gone down hill all the way. The staff is unkept rude and very unprofessional. There are 5 or more working in pharmacy and one will be at cashier to serve customers when the line has ten plus people on it. The last time I was there I was on line for 35 minutes before I was served. I am in the process of getting my meds mailed to me from CAREMARK. The manager of this pharmacy in Hillside needs to be replaced immediately as he/she has no managerial skills. Take my advice stay away from CVS Hillside.

Worst service and lack of professionalism! I went to pick medication that they had earlier sent a notification, after close to one hour on the drive through pick up point the lady who was serving told me that the medication was not ready and advised to come back after 1 hour. I was back in like 2 hours and went back to the drive through line for 40 minutes for the same lady to tell me that they did not have the medication in stock!

The worst CVS I've ever been to , everyone is rude . The pharmacy staff needs to get fired , their not friendly nor do they pay attention to the drive through. I really hate that this is the closest CVS to me ...Will have to start filling my prescriptions at Walgreens ...They are much nicer .

This is by far the worst CVS I've ever been to. The pharmacy is beyond slow always backed up, can't never find your prescription when you come to pick it up absolute nightmare. Store is dirty stuff every. Always out of supplies

I come to this CVS often. I dont understand the comments as I'm always treated well there. On more than one occasion, Kristen from the pharmacy has been extremely hands on and helpful.If theres any issue here...CVS corporate should hire more pharmacy techs as it is a very high volume pharmacy.
