The store is clean and well stocked, but still fairly small and some items are wildly expensive compared to other pet stores.My biggest complaint is that there is nowhere to dispose of pet waste. This is a dog-friendly store, but when I walked my dog outside, I realized there was nowhere for me to throw out the bag with her waste in it. A store associate took the bag from me and had to walk it out to a dumpster herself, which was very nice of her, but it seems crazy to me that there isn’t something available.

I really appreciate the dog wash. They provide everything, including towels, shampoo and dryer. It's so much easier to wash my dog here as the facility is large, clean and spacious. Love it. My dog...not so much.

Although I didn't find the right cat tower for my pet, I was extremely happy with the service from Sam and the owner, who is extremely nice. Thank you both for going the extra mile.

This incident happened 12/22.I had parked about a foot over the line into a yellow hashed spot on the right side of the building, not knowing it was a delivery area as there is no signage.After I made my purchase and came out of the store, I found that my car was blocked in by an unattended car.A female employee came out a side door of the building and started yelling at me about my parking, saying that "If there was a delivery coming in, I'd prevent it from happening."She ranted over and over again about it. She was escalating the situation minute by minute. It was unnerving and very upsetting. When I asked for a manager, she said she was the manager. Our exchange continued for about 5-10 minutes, at which time she moved her car and I drove away.I left the lot, but immediately looped back as I wanted to get her name.She was still outside, moving her car into the spot I vacated. I stayed in the car and asked her for her first name so I knew who to reference in my complaint.She refused to tell me and then deflected my questions by yelling at me in public in front of the store, now claiming that I was somebody who had followed her and her daughter home several times!!! What the hell!People walking by were looking at me while she was yelling these accusations. I was beyond embarrassed.It took a couple of days to get ahold of the owner (Adam) who agreed she didn't handle it well. This Karen (Jenn) turned out to be the receiving manager at the store.Adam apologized for what happened having seen the security footage from an outside camera and said he'd "talk to her".Upon my request, he set up a meeting for me to come back to the store for an in person apology from the Karen for what happened. He said he might not be around so that I should come in and ask for her. I should have to deal with her alone after what I endured?Having been so embarrassed and traumatized by her public accusations of stalking and her uncalled for aggression, I decided not to go back for the apology. The last thing I wanted was another altercation with her or any other of the "trained staff".My opinion is that Jenn should have been fired or at least demoted. She is clearly unfit to be a manager and needs to address her anger management issues.I have considered legal action to address the public slander.Needless to say, I will not go back to this store.

Enjoyed my trip to Pet Supplies Plus! The store is very clean and the staff were helpful with showing products. They had a huge selection of dog treats to choose from and great sales!!

Our family frequents the Pet Supplies Plus in Hillsdale often. Great clean store , with excellent assortment of reasonably priced products. Usually very friendly and helpful employees. During my visit today, an employee Jenn was restocking birdfeed from a shopping cart in the vestibule, when I went around her she made a snarky remark “you could have gone around the other way“I was having a good morning until she offended me and made me very upset.I reported to the manager Jenn and will be contacting the owner Adam as well.Unacceptable customer service which created a poor experience and left a bad taste.

Great store and helpful service. They carry a lot of brands you can’t find elsewhere and they have a great selection of toys and chew sticks for dogs. They also carry a large selection of small breed merchandise for rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets, etc.. as well as small breed pets if you are looking to purchase one. They host pet adoptions on the weekends if you are looking to adopt a shelter animal which is very well organized.

I went in with what felt like 100 questions regarding beta fish care. The team members were helpful, the young lady that helped me was so patient and knowledgeable. I purchased all the supplies I needed and felt confident in my choices. The prices are great too, better than the first store I first visited before going here. I highly recommend Pet Supplies Plus.I am also very pleased with how they house the pets they have for sale. Very clean and with appropriate space for each one.

This is the place with the biggest selection of foods, toys, and supplies in the area. We also make great use of their pet baths in the back. Shampoos, towels, and driers are even included. The staff is always friendly and very helpful. We drive past other stores to frequent this one!

I find the employees at Pet Supplies Plus are always willing to help you find what you need and always have a smile, while doing their job. I was looking for a new bed for my dogs on Amazon and decided to give a local vendor the $$ instead. I highly recommend this store.

Great store; however, when you are looking for a specific dog food there is no guarantee that what you are want will be available. Nor can they tell you when it will be available.If you find something you like buy more than 1 bag or find a backup supplier. . ugh

Before we went to get my dog a bath both me and my mother checked the website to see if you need an appointment it didn't say you did. We got there and they asked do we have we said no and they said we have to have one. Please indicate on your website or let people walk in. Whether its just because of covid or not in veary inconvenient. Maybe good store but this doesn't make you worthy of Patronage Because it proves to me you don't do common decency because it was your mistake and we're still suffering.
