June 15,2020 we got our first pet ever, Nike the dog! Not knowing anything about anything except from books, we took him to a “corporate” place for his first grooming and then we discovered Sylvia and there was no looking back. A groomer who gives your dog hugs and your dog doesn’t have to sit in a crate to wait, what’s not to love? In addition, she listens to how you want your dog groomed!! I’ve referred so many people but she is so kind and honest, she is going to do a lottery system to take new clients! If your lucky enough to get in with Paywz and claws grooming, do it!! You won’t regret it!!!!

Went here today to get my 80 lb dogs nails trimmed, my dog is normally very anxious and hard to control during the trimming. Let me tell you, the ladies here are great, it was the best nail trimming experience I have ever had. I will recommend them to any and everyone!! I will definitely be back for all their services not just trimmings

I rarely write reviews but this experience was too great for me to not post about it.Being a first time dog mom I was really nervous taking my dog to be groomed. I had heard horror stories and was worried about dropping my dog off someplace. From the first moment I walked in I was greeted with the friendliest staff and open arms. I could have not been happier and neither could my fur baby. Sylvia greeted me and started playing with my fur baby immediately!! He was so excited he pee’d on the staff and Sylvia didn’t even seem phased she just kept holding my pup and playing with him!! I was put at ease in the first seconds of meeting this team.When I picked up my dog he was happy and playing with other dogs!! He was safe, happy and SMELT SO CLEAN. DID I MENTION THE DOGS GET BLUEBERRY FACIALS!! Sylvia was so kind throughout this whole process, she even showed me the nail cutting process! First paw he was scared but by the time they got to the second paw he was calm and relaxed ! Sylvia and her team handled his anxiety with ease. I was shocked on how calm and professional this team was while working on my crazy baby!I can not thank this team enough for how they loved my baby and handled my questions! You guys are incredible!OH AND BONUS they make the bandanas they put on your dogs after their all cleaned!!(also another bonus my dog is exhausted from running and playing instead of being in a crate while he waited!) Definitely recommend this fabulous place. Thank you to the team for the phenomenal service!

Both of my pups go here. Couldn't ask for a better groomer. They take such good care of my one neurotic dog and give him so much love and praise... Not to mention, he trots out of Pawz and Clawz looking like a million bucks each time! Highly highly recommend! Your pup will be treated with such love here.

Writing a review because not a lot of people write reviews of dog groomers and it was difficult for me to find someone in the area. To start- I just want to clarify that I am not local to the area and this is not my normal groomer, but I would go to them again.They did a great cut on my doodle and were very nice people.I am not familiar with the area in the slightest so I don’t know their rent prices, clientele, etc. but I did find them to be on the pricey side- paying about the same that I would in Hoboken where I would have assumed being much further from NYC that prices would be a bit less.They also had a lot of dogs in the salon at a time. They all seemed to be well taken care of and the owner clearly loved them all, but it was a bit overwhelming. Although in this case I was going to an event nearby and a 4-hour window was exactly what I needed, if I were local I would have wished that they took less dogs at a time and provided a shorter drop-off/pickup window.On a final note- they take credit cards but charge a fee and you can’t leave a tip on a card. They didn’t give me a heads up on this and I never carry cash. I wish they had mentioned it because then I would have gone ti an ATM.

I've been to a million different salons and every other place I would get a call at end of her groom and all of the other salons would always fail to cut her nails because "she wouldn't let them." When I picked her up pawz n clawz to my surprise her nails were done perfectly! The owner did tell me that they needed 3 people to do it but they got it done! they really went above and beyond and I would highly recommend.

Our dog who is older and gets nervous with his grooming did so well here with the ladies who were so nice and good with animals . No cages and he was so much happier and came out looking fresh and clean. Highly recommend pawz & clawz grooming .

I took our 1-year old labradoodle to Szilvia and team for help as he did not do well with his last groomer. After that groomer suggested giving him trazodone to make him more cooperative, I figured the problem wasn't the dog. Szilvia was very patient with him and worked her magic to groom him and return him in high spirits.She's very compassionate with the dogs, and very passionate about her trade. He needed to be shaved as he had some deep knots, but she still managed to make him look sleek in the face and fanciful in the tail. We're coming back in 10 weeks to get him used to being at the groomers, and we're looking forward to a healthy experience for our pup.

Szilvia and the groomers are all wonderful and amazing. I've been going here for about a year now and every time has been great not just for our cavalier king charles spaniel, but for us as well. They're straight to the point and honest and have very fair prices for the services they provide.Make sure you call ahead and make an appointment because they don't accept walk-ins!

Hands down, the most amazing grooming salon anywhere! The atmosphere is one of caring, happiness and love of dogs. Zsilvia and all the groomers greet and care for my cockapoo as if she was one of their own. I have tried other groomers, and not one comes even close. On the grooming side, Bella always looks beautiful when she is finished with her session!

So happy with the results for both my pups! Pricing was in line with other groomers in the area but I felt it was a less stressful experience for them. The cuts were wonderful thanks to Szilvia taking time to listen to my thoughts and also provided helpful tips.Can’t wait to go back next time!

I first used Pawz and Clawz on July 7, 2021 on the recommendation of a friend. The owner, Szilvia, assured me that the well being of the dogs in her care were her top priority. We decided on a cut for my Mini Schnauzer, and I was very happy with the result. My dog was there for a total of 3 hours, which seemed to be the average time according to my friend. I decided to use them again yesterday, August 25, to maintain my dog's summer cut. I was concerned after 4 hours had passed and I didn't hear from them. I called and was told that it would be about another hour and a half. I picked up my baby and rushed out the door as I was on my way out of town and had a long drive ahead.When I arrived at my destination and finally settled down with my baby next to me, I felt several rough patches above her shoulder while I was petting her. On closer inspection, I was alarmed when I saw three bloody cuts inside a bald spot above her shoulder. I called Szilvia early the next morning and inquired about the wounds on her. Her immediate reply was to say that it was not her fault and that my baby must have injured herself elsewhere. I explained how that wasn't possible and she got very upset. She said that she herself worked on my baby and that she takes great pride in her work. I told her I had pictures and she demanded to see the pictures and hung up on me.Later, I received an email telling me she would call me outside of work hours, which she did. Her only explanation was that she used a different shampoo and that my dog had scaly skin (she doesn't). She apologized for not telling me about using a different shampoo and offered to do her next grooming for free. She did not take any responsibility for causing harm to my baby. I am livid that she was unable to apologize and be held accountable for something she had done. If she had told me that she had accidentally cut my baby, I would be upset but more understanding as these things can happen. People do business with people they know, like, and trust. That trust was broken, and I can no longer go to Pawz and Clawz nor recommend them.

I am so thankful for Szilvia and her team for taking very good care of miniature schnauzer Milo ! She gave him such a nice cut , And her love for my pup was so heartwarming. Absolutely love & highly recommend this place! Quick and wonderful service. They are AMAZING with my little guy. He always leaves looking handsome and happy. Prices are very reasonable and seen them handle all sizes and breeds of dogs really well. You won't regret taking your pup here!

Have been taking my cockapoo here for the last year. The new owners are wonderful and the transition was seamless. Rocky enjoys getting his haircut here and playing with the other dogs. The owner takes great care in making sure your pet is comfortable. Would highly recommend.

I am so glad I found this place. I am the mom of a Miniature Schnauzer and since we have moved to the area I have struggle to find a good place. The search is over! This is definitely the right place for us. Szylvia, the owner, has two Schnauzers herself so she has the cut down and perfected; but she takes her time and asks you exactly how you want it. The doggies are never in a kennel, they roam in the salon waiting for their turn. This is the place for you if you treat your pup as a member of your family!

What a great place to have your dog groomed. The women there are all patient and very loving to your pups! My Tucker loves going there...while he’s waiting to get groomed he’s not locked in a stuffy kennel but is allowed to roam freely among the groomers and plays with the toys! Susan the owner grooms Tucker and he’s beautifully groomed as per my requests. She’s a great person and very knowledgeable about dogs. I have never been more happy with a groomer than I am with Pawz and Clawz and I have taken my dogs to groomers for over 30 years! Hats off to Susan and her entire staff!

Owner are experienced tag team. Like their energy. My pup likes it there. Unrelalted to P&C, shop is close to home with kids around. Didnt realize it, coming from 130, that my car speed is high. Please slow down as soon as you enter the street.

This place is disgusting and MOST DEFINITELY over priced. Not only that the time it takes to get my cute wittle pooch back is just disgusting. And the place is disgusting it smells like cigarette smoke and the lady out right disrespected me when I walked in and my phone accidentally made noise she got mad this not the right way to treat your customers and it’s disgusting.
