My dog has been going to Groom Room for about four years now. She is now 15. Initially, I was looking for a gentle groomer who would hand dry and not cage for hours. I am so blessed to have found Christine. My old lady is very fragile with several health problems and she has become even more so in the four years Christine has been grooming her. Christine is gentle and patient and does a beautiful job on our little old lady. She does not take too many dogs at a time, so she can focus on your dog and ensure that she is not caged for hours. She also grooms right out in the open so you can see everything going on. I could not recommend Groom Room enough. We tried many local groomers when we moved from Staten Island to New Jersey five years ago and none even came close to the kind and gentle care that Christine provides.

I absolutely love bringing my dog Glenn here. They are always extremely accommodating, friendly and do an amazing job!! Glenn is a big boy being a husky and Shepard mix with A LOT of fur and he always comes home 20.lbs lighter and smelling amazing…and with a cute bandana too! Best groomers around!

Our groomer did not follow any of our instructions and our dogs arms were bleeding in multiple places when we picked her up. These are just a few of the dozens of gashes on her. We are very upset with this place and will never be going back. Very inhumane.

Excellent experience! They are so nice. My shih tzu Carl is very wild when it comes to getting groomed and he loved it. They listened and he came out EXACTLY how I asked. This is our new spot. I highly recommend them.

I have an Australian Shepherd that was in need of grooming. They did an excellent job. She looked beautiful. Clean facility, friendly staff and prompt service. Dropped her off at 9:00 and I picked her up at 11:09!

They were excellent. This was my first experience with The Groom Room, my puppy’s first ever grooming and he loved it too. The staff was super friendly and professional. Do not take your pets here! I took my dogs for a bath, hair cut, and nail trim. I wound up with a hack job. He is a Pomeranian husky and typically has a beautiful long coat. His cut is so uneven you can still see lines from the buzzer, not to mention they cut him.I asked they leave his tail, and he wound up a lion. You can see this poor boys pink skin, his fur is so short and we’re in below freezing temps.

Christine and her team are top notch. They've been grooming our dogs for years. Be it a regular shampoo, a hair trim, or a nail problem, they're always happy to help and the boys come out clean and happy. Sometimes the wait for an appointment is a few weeks, but worth it.

So my dogs were groomed at the groom room located in the Highlands, New Jersey did an excellent job. I will definitely be using them. They are also very reasonable with the prices. I have been to a couple different places and always paid a lot of money for each dog and they always shave them. Both my dogs are mini Bernie doodles and it’s not recommended to shave them. I brush my dogs and comb them as recommended every other day. I’m always told that they were matted and had to be shaved. I have brushed them and comb them right before their appointments and took care of all the Matting so they wouldn’t have to be shaved. But they always shave them so I’m staying with the groom room in the Highlands because they did an amazing job. Thank you so very much.

Brought my 1.5 year old Husky and 8 year old Shepard/Rottie Mix there for a bath. Kris did a really awesome job with them. I picked them up and they were so soft and smelled wonderful. They use all natural products which is a plus in my book. Also, you can't beat their prices. Thanks and we will be back!

Christine at the Groom Room is the best! She always has time to fit me and my sweet Minnie in. Minnie is a rescue pup and isn’t a huge fan of nail trimmings or the fur dryer and Christine always makes her feel comfy and gets her smelling good and looking her best. They were nice and able to accommodate us quickly! The space is small and there happened to be a large dog in a crate barking non-stop. I think it scared my pup during her nail trim because I’ve never seen her want to leave a place so fast. They also cut one of her nails back too far and she bled. Not a huge deal but our experience was just ok.

The Groom Room is amazing! I drive all the way from Manhattan to get my dog groomed by Christine because she is hands down the best groomer there is. Kiki, my dog, comes out smelling so good and her coat is cut to perfection even though she is a squirmy little thing. That’s how we know Christine is amazing and so experienced at what she does. All staff is super friendly, attentive, and make the grooming salon feel like a second home to my pup! The salon is super cute and most importantly very clean! Would give more than 5 stars if I could :)
