Large issue with goodwill in general, but specifically this location. The amount of resellers that now storm the isles is ridiculous, some of them quite literally will shove you over and run when new product gets released from the back. That’s the least of the issues with them, they have driven prices up at goodwill so incredibly high in which this location now has raised their prices almost 200% from just LAST YEAR. The younger gentlemen employees at this location also FAVOR the resellers ! Multiple times have things come from the back and directly walked over to the resellers to which the employe asks them if they’d like it before it goes into the display case. Sad to see this community go down this trending fad of reselling. The older ladies here are the absolute best no hate to them what so ever it’s just the younger gentlemen who favor resellers, a darn shame!

Went recently and very impressed with the friendly staff and organization. The positive atmosphere especially around this time of year was a great touch, will definitely be coming back!

Unfortunately I have had to stop shopping here due to them closing all of their dressing rooms - they have been closed for 3 years now. Goodwill isn’t as cheap as it used to be and they don’t accept returns. I’m short and have a less conventional body type so I really have to try on clothes even if the tag says they’re my size. After almost every shopping trip, coming home and finding that most of the clothes don’t fit right or don’t look good on me, I’m done. I’m just wasting money at this point.

I am very unhappy with this location of Goodwill. I run a program for adults with disabilities and today we visited this location to have our individual’s shop. Mind you, all ten individuals were paying customers.During this outing, one of our individuals, who has down syndrome, had an accident. One of my staff members asked if she could utilize the bathroom to help change her during this emergency. The employee of Goodwill, had to ask the manager. When the Goodwill MANAGER, Denise, addressed my staff member, she turned her down and told her she had to go somewhere else.The anger I have knowing that this company and location would do this, even after employing adults with disabilities is just plain disgusting. We have been sending a trip there everyday this week of about ten individuals a day to shop. For the rest of the week, we will no longer be supporting this location.

Great stuff but when we went to checkout, they said that the color blue wanst actually half off like we thought and then they changed it to purple… so the whole day it was blue half off and they didn’t realize? Disappointed so please ask if the colors are half off actually that day…

I haven’t been shopping at GW Atlantic Highlands very long. My teenaged granddaughter from north Jersey and her friends shop thrift for name brand clothes. She’s gotten some great buys. I can’t believe these kids are into this!I myself won’t buy clothes, however I have made some great purchases on kitchen items. On only one occasion did I ask for a manager to check a price as it was highly overpriced. They didnt agree and I just walked away without it. All the other things I’ve purchased were more than fairly priced. You just have to go in with an open mind!

I really enjoyed shopping in the past. It's a clean store, well organized but have seen resellers work with people working at this location to get first dibs on specific items.They have a cabinet in the front of the store where they put high priced items, but store personnel was bypassing that process to give certain resellers first pick.The store really needs to create a process where they define higher priced items and put said items in the high priced cabinet, at market value, so everyone has a fair shot at the item.

A worker told me on a Sunday in December, 2022 that the fitting rooms are not open because customers leave them a mess. The staff doesn't want to put the clothes back on the racks. Very odd way to run a business. Prices are OK, not great. Used clothes at 1/3 the price of new.

As a YouTuber let me tell you the staff is extremely friendly and welcoming and personally allows thrifting content creating and provides excellent customer service compared to the Hazlet Location.

When they first opened the store was always organized and clean. Lately it's dirty, cluttered, and overpriced. Take one item off a shelf and three fall. $16.99 for a dirty used shirt is insane. Won't be shopping at this one anymore.There needs to be a day where the whole store goes on sale to get rid of inventory. This is what another thrift store does to keep their inventory fresh.

I’ve been coming to the Atlantic Highlands location three they opened three years ago.2019. Denise has always been very helpful and accommodating. Her staff seems to love her .The store is always clean and runs smoothly.It is always an exciting day finding treasures at this location.

This store is always a fun time but you can tell Covid has gotten to the staff in the sense that the store isn’t as organized. Items do fall when you try to look on shelves and it’s often over cluttered. However, despite all this you can definitely find some good items and it’s always nice to drop off and donate what you don’t use or need.

Clean and organized store, staff is helpful. My only comment would be the check out line procedure, three cashiers three lines, I noticed the middle cashier asked over a person waiting from a different line, my assumption was okay maybe that person had been waiting for quite some time longer than the person in the middle line. However I was waiting in line and someone walked over to a different line to wait as well and I noticed the next cashier that was available did not call on me, she called on the person who had just gotten there.

Crazy experience today. Somebody stole my Wallet, from my cart. Staff was helpful (but oddly couldn't turn the music down, so I could hear the sound of my Tracker) I confronted the man, who claimed he had no Wallet, while my tracker was chiming in his pocket... Unreal.... I enjoy treasure hunting on my way to Sandy Hook

I did see the resellers there. Looking at every single item for brand and resale value. Yes, I understand some people resell items for a profit but the aggressive nature of these types of ppl, make a regular shopper like me, very disgusted. The whole point of going to thrift stores is because you are trying to stretch a buck, not buy the same thing bought from the store, that a reseller posts online...I will try my luck at a less aggressive location for things I need.👎

Great store friendly staff! Nice merchandise but since covid-19 prices are higher then before it's a thrift store I'm not looking for prices to be the same as Walmart, things used to be placed on the shelves a lot nicer but seems their just thrown on there it's kinda getting like the one in Ocean twp a little, it needs to go back like when they first opened organized and fair prices...a lot of items were over priced I go to thrift stores for low prices affordable merchandiseits amazing how the owner manager doesn't comment on the negative issues I've been in customer service for 43years retail listen to your customers.

I used to looove it here but now the prices are astronomical. $5-6 for an old Walmart T-shirt with pit stains? $20 for a pair of beat up carters baby shoes..Unbelievable. Goodwill is no longer a place where low-budget people can shop. Sad.

I go quite often. Usually a hit or miss sometimes I find things sometimes i don't Being going since the grand opening I go for Cds . Records, Levi Jeans old school record players etc I went again this Saturday on 25 of May. i was done shopping and headed to the checkout counter so get rang up. I pay, the cash drawer locks so I'm waiting for my change.So I get change ,it took a few minutes Holly and Heidi handle the matter Very Professionally and in a friendly way and the rest of the Staff Roger, Oscar , Shaun and other associates also friendly and knowledgable to customers about items in the store. and the displays in front of store very Professionally done and eye catching

The changing rooms are closed from excessive vandalism which is a nuisance but understandable. However, they only give you two days to return clothes. Ridiculous.

Definitely on the nicer end of Goodwill stores. Opened about a month ago. The store is very clean but also packed with stuff to look through. Many aisles of housewares to search. A nice selection of dishes, pots and pans. Some sporting goods. A section for Christmas items. Lots and lots of clothes. All of the employees were very friendly.
