This pharmacy team is amazing, they have for been unfortunately short staffed and stressed a lot sadly but they still make a huge effort to be happy and helpful with their customers. Jerry is wonderful leader. Ever since he arrived there was such a wonderful shift in the atmosphere there. He's really turned things around in my opinion. They are deserve a bonus, or raise or gifts ; lots and lots of gifts!!! Remember corporate, without people like them on the floor, you'd be nothing. Show your appreciation, they deserve it!!

Six-Star Service at Highlands, New Jersey CVS!I can't say enough wonderful things about the CVS in Highlands, New Jersey! Pharmacist Jerry absolutely deserves a six-star rating for his dedication and helpfulness. He went above and beyond the call of duty to secure medication for us, tirelessly coordinating transfers with another CVS all the way in Connecticut.Loretta, the lead team tech, was equally fantastic. Professional, friendly, and clearly passionate about her work, she's building a new team that promises to be amazing!Even under pressure, Jerry and Loretta were the epitome of composure and kindness. They never let on the challenges they might have been facing while ensuring we received exceptional service. (This review is long overdue, but their incredible service stuck with me!)Thank you, Jerry and Loretta — and the rest of the team members! You're a shining example of what exceptional customer service looks like.

Spend $30 get $10 ExtraBucks reward was not honored, even though I spent over $40 for 2 items. Only the lower priced item was recognized as part of the offer ($13.49), and therefore CVS failed to accept over $30 in purchases. (Never mind the fact the online price given was $36.79 for a knee brace, but in the store it was $46.99!!).EDIT: The manager in the store VERY helpfully short-circuited the whole issue of the $10 ExtraBucks by refunding the cost if the second item ($13.49) which very much compensated me satisfactorily. KUDOS TO CVS!

I hate to come this store to get some medicine, I come from local ,want to support local businesses! I love CVS but not this location in highlands..But the fat lady who is the store supervisor has terrible service and so rude, refuse to help customer get the right stuff, unwilling to told me to find by myself. This is the second time happened…I felt so bad leaving the storeNever ever come back here again!

The staff is fine, the service is fine, the selection is good, the pharmacy and minute clinic are great, BUT the prices are inflated and unreasonable. $15 for face lotion that used to be $12 and is $9.50 on Amazon. Ever since Harman/Face Values closed, prices at CVS have climbed and climbed. I’ll pay $12, but not $15. Hello Amazon.

This CVS provides the absolute worst customer service. If zero stars was an option, I would give them just that. My insurance changed their provider number. Thanks GEHA. When I presented my new card, I was told that they updated everything. They did not. They merely added coupons and nothing was ever processed through insurance. I called CVS Caremark and they verified that no claims were ever sent. When I called to speak to someone in the pharmacy to fix this issue, I was told that she could not help me because she was too busy with customers and that she didn’t have a manager. I never asked for a manager. I merely asked what I needed to do to fix the problem. I decided to go in instead. The guy behind the counter also refused to help me. He told me that it was a deductible issue. When I told him that I have no insurance deductible for prescriptions and that my beginning of the year copays are covered by FSA, he looked at me like I had 4 heads and told me to move along. I did. I now go to Bayshore pharmacy. Too bad the hundreds of dollars I lost paying out of pocket for prescriptions that should have been paid through my insurance are gone forever.

Ughhhh...this CVS location.....not the first time I feel like that about this store. Sometime ago I send some photos to be printed, after receiving an email that they are ready, I went to pick them up. I was told (without clerk even checking it first) that printers are down and they are not printing anything since yesterday. I walked around the store for few minutes, and when there was a different person at the register, my photos miraculously were there...today they put hand written note saying "power outage" and the store is closed. All the lights in the store are on, and parking lot lamps are on...so go figure...

Incompetent and literally the worst pharmacy I’ve ever experienced. Consistently making mistakes and rude employees. Never accurate! Do yourself a favor and use a different pharmacy!

To be clear, I don't get my prescriptions here. My primary reason for visiting has been to get my COVID vaccinations.The store is pretty large for a CVS. It has its own parking lot which is easy to navigate and find a space, but the location is on 36 so its harder to get to if you come from the west. They also have some expensive products like Garmin watches and full services like a minute clinic so I'm going to assume this is some kind of flagship.The pharmacy is absolutely huge. There seemed to be 10 people in there. Despite this the wait at the window was long just to check in for the appointment.The store is organized but felt dirty without looking dirty if that makes sense?? I think there were some lights out making part of the store darker which could have done that too, but it was like that when i went back a few weeks later too.

Awful pharmacy. I asked them to fill my script they'd had "on hold" (thanks to it being sent in a couple days too early to fill), and they didn't have the medication in stock, and said they would order it. I had to go 2 days without it, and when I was due to pick it up (even after I called to check in the morning), it turned out they hadn't gotten it delivered. It was either wait 2 more days without my medication, or pay for the uninsured kind. Absolutely unacceptable for a pharmacy to let this happen. The most logical thing would be for medication to go off hold when it was fillable, but to bypass that and forget to order it after saying they would??? Downright negligent.

Nice guy at pharmacy went above and beyond to help me. Prices? Eh. About the same as chain pharmacies nowadays. Convenient. This is not the only pharmacy I use as there is one in my town, but when I need something they have right away, I go there. This is my experience, everyone has their own. I LOVE the drive through!!

The pharmacy staff is so bizarre. There is a person who works there who is covered in dandruff and touches the medication and deals with customers. After several unanswered complaints to CVS corporate, this needs to be made publicly known.The pharmacy itself just tried to give me a more expensive alternative to my prescribed medication.. when I called them, they gave me an attitude but agreed to change me back to my prescription.Nurse Donna in the Minute Clinic is fantastic! It's the pharmacy here that's just not good

Worst service costumer. They are rude and refused to fill a prescription because they were closing in 15min and told me to go to a 24h pharmacy if I needed the medication. What kinda service is this? I work in healthcare and they should not be allowed to deal with patients. Dangerous people and should be shut down.

If I could give this place "0" I would. The pharmacy staff is rude and uncaring. They act as if they are doing you a favor. My wife constantly has issues with getting her scripts on time. Staff will say they have a medication only to find it will take days to get. Do yourself a favor and go to Bayshore. Please support local businesses not big chain stores

This cvs is always a nightmare to deal with. The pharmacy dept is awful. They are slow and unhelpful. My most recent experience was my eye dr called in my prescription. They couldn't find it so my dr sent it a second time. I then received a text saying I would receive a call when it was filled. So several hours later when I heard nothing I called cvs. And they told me that they had to to special order it and it would be in the next day. I told them that my eye dr said I could have permanent sight damage the girl said that they can check other cvs. So she put me on hold and check and said that no cvs within 30min drive had it. I asked if she could transfer my script to Walgreens. She said that she would call Walgreens to check and call me back. I received a call shortly later from the same person and she told me while she was calling Walgreens she double checked the shelf and they had the eye drops the entire time. I would have stopped using cvs previously bc of other terrible experiences but it's literally less than a block away from my home. Lesson learned is just drive 10mins down the road to the closet Walgreens for my prescription needs.

Their new location is always clean, the staff is always friendly however this CVS is expensive. I took my little sister because she needed a few things too. When I got to the register to check out, my total came to over $70 dollars for less than 12 items. It was outragious. For a 4 pack of Venus Carterages: $22. For a single head band almost $7. For a single Velveta Mac & Cheese Bowl $4.59. For Dove Body wash $9. I can go Walmart or Big Lots and get these same items, same brands, for less money. I know it's not the workers fault. I work in retail as well and the company raises prices all the time. I understand how it works. It's just blows my mind how when they were in the old location, and I first started going there, they were cheap. I could get really good led pencils for $1 and some change. Now It's $4 and up for good led pencils. There convient but expensive. And there pharmacy isn't all that great. My sister had asked me to drop off a script to have it filled. They have three different window. The Drop Off window there was no body there and I was stand there for over 20 minutes. Finally I got impatiant, I walked away, came back, and they were still dealing with the same lady that was there before. Finally with a slightly raised tone to gain someone attention I said "I need to drop off a script please." The guy at the inside Pick Up window said he'd be with me in a bit. There was only two people working the inside counter and it was really inconvient for me. They're disorganized and they shouldn't be. I will not be shopping at CVS anymore. They're inconvient on my wallet and my time. These were just a few experiamces of mine. I hope no one else has any experiances like this. The company needs to work on prices. Until then they've lost a loyal costomer.

Nurse Donna is amazing! But the pharmacy is awful. They are painfully slow. I’ve been waiting at least 20 minutes at this point and there’s a big back up of cars. I would rather drive to the hazlet cvs where I’ve never had this issue.

Dropped off prescription and was told 1 hour wait. Went to pick up after 1 hour. Was told not ready because they're understaffed. Prescription might be ready tonight...or tomorrow. So one hour wait has turned into several hours. Pathetic.

Zero is my opinion , scripty never ready on time , they charge me when my insurance covered my scrip, i had to call and get my third refund in a week?I live less then a quarter mile away and i will not go back!! They all need to be replaced !!

They've always been helpful to me! Busy location and to the one who doesn't like the location...don''t go LOL and to the guy knocking the pharmacy staff...seriously...I don't think that dude can help it. He's always been professional and nice though. Just wow!

Ask pharmacist if they had a product that was stated they did he kindly directed me to the front desk I spoke to a clerk by the name of Annette who stated that they don’t carry that product I explained to her that the website stated they have it in the store she said they didn’t and hung up on me. Clearly this said person is stuck on stupid.

They can't even answer the phone! Corporation either really over works them or they are just lazy... you choose... I've tried multiple times. This is absolutely the worst pharmacy I have ever dealt with. They are begging me to vaccinate with them .. pfffffffttttt can't even answer a phone.

I stopped in to pick up a couple of things for my mom. It a good location, right off of hywy 36 highlands/Middletown. Very spacious, lots of room to move around. Unfortunately they didn't have what I was looking for ( except 2 bottles of tylenol) so that something. I will keep checking from time to time, worth a stop.
