Great service with very knowledgeable staff. They’ve shared information on the history of my dog’s breed as well as other breeds. I’ve enjoyed my conversations there.It’s easy to book and generally just an easy experience all around.When we arrive, my pup is always eager to run up the stairs to get groomed.When I drop her off, I visit Farmacie—a nearby coffee shop that I love.

Booked the last minute appointment on the same day because my dog had so many knots and we were going away for the week and he was gonna get boarded with a few other dogs figured it would just get worse if we didn’t give him a haircut before we left for vacation. They were so nice enough to accommodate us on the same day and did a great job with his haircut, the only thing I would say is that it’s tricky to find parking and they only accept cash or check.

One of my fur babies is an 80+ lbs senior with lifelong anxiety and bad hips. He can get a bit grumpy at times. Scruffy needed his nails clipped. I called Barks on Bay and spoke with Kathy, she told me to come in the following day. She is amazing. Scruff gave her no issue, which shocked me; he even let her trim (clean up) the fur on his paws. Kathy clearly passed Scruff’s vibe check (she definitely passed mine); very calm and secure with what she is doing. I will going back with my other dog next week. I HIGHLY recommend Kathy!! Thanks Kathy!!

Kat at Barks on Bay did an excellent job grooming my Golden Retriever, Ludlow, a wiggly puppy not a fan of being groomed (especially nail clipping). He seemed to really like her and it's obvious she's very good at what she does! Will be sticking with Kat.

Literally the worst place to bring your dogs ! The owner should be shut down and the fake photos on her websites photo gallery that she just took from Google photos should show how fake this groomer really is ! Also her staff almost took my dogs ear off and shaved him backwards! So unprofessional!!!

I am very particular with my dogs grooming and don’t write reviews often, but I had to with how fantastic Barks on Bay is. I mainly go to Kat at Barks on Bay and cannot recommend her enough but have used two groomers at Barks on Bay and both did a FANTASTIC job with my Bernedoodle. My dogs hair is not the easiest to groom as he is very curly and mattes easily, but every time I pick him up from Barks on Bay I am so pleased. Not only are they responsive and nice but they are extremely quick when grooming my dog. If you are looking for a groomer look no further!

I have been taking my pug, Mugsy, to Kathy at barks for nail clipping. Pugs do not like their feet touched. Kathy is so gentle and loving towards Mugsy so that he is calm and not upset. I have had many groomers do my dogs nails and non even compare to how sweet Kathy is with my Mugsy. I would recommend her a thousand times over. She is the best. Thanks Kathy for your kindness toward Mugsy

Diana, the owner, is absolutely amazing! She's been grooming our puppy, Wicket, for the past six months and we have always been more than happy. And after this weekend, we love her even more.Unfortunately, out of sheer necessity I had to bring Wicket to one of our local big-brand pet stores this past weekend, which was a nightmarish experience that left him half shaved and looking ridiculous. Luckily, Diana and her staff at Barks on Bay were able to accommodate us the next business day, worked their magic, and Wicket is looking as cute as ever!We are so happy that she has her own salon now, and will definitely be repeat customers!
