We just went to Rub a Dub with our husky for the first time. Bath, deshedding, and nails trimmed. We’re very happy with how soft she turned out, and she smells so good! The bandana and doggie cologne is also a nice touch. The owners are great, and really take good care of the dogs!

Gerry is a godsend. He always takes good care of my dog Fergie, but today he went above and beyond. Fergie was skunked and needed a de-skunking. He was able to squeeze us in and my dog smells so much better. She had a great groom and is back to her great smelling self. Thank you again, we so appreciate it!

We have been using Jerry and Janine for dog grooming services since early 2008. I must say this review is long overdue, they have been great. Ruby and Simba have been going there for many years every 8 weeks or so and always come back looking terrific. Jerry is an expert at handling the dogs and shaping their haircuts accordingly. They can be skittish, and Simba could occasionally have an aggressive defensive demeanor yet never once had a behavior problem there. I credit Jerry with his handling of them and Simba in particular. They have fairly thin hair and receive "summer" cuts, properly shaped without being butched. And "winter" cuts slightly longer, still expertly shaped. While Simba has crossed over the Rainbow Bridge, we are glad to have Jerry continue to take care of Ruby's grooming. Jerry generally is very accurate with his pickup estimates, sure he can get swamped and behind like anyone else, but he is always caring and courteous with us and our dogs. I most of all appreciate the quality, friendly, courteous service and rest easy knowing our dog(s) are always in good hands.

I called 10 places for a last-minute desperation bath because my dog puked in her cone the night before, leaving her smelling awful. Of the ten phone calls I made in the area, Jerry was the only person who took the time to talk to me in detail even though he was very busy. Told me to come in the next morning at 9am and quoted me an unbelievably reasonable price. I was treated like the desperate human I was and my dog was treated like gold. Jerry even put a bandanna on, gave us a bag of treats, and sprayed her with a great-smelling body spray, all complimentary. Rub a dub has found a lifelong client in me and my dog. Can’t thank you enough!!! Ten stars!!

In response to Michael Grennars review. I was behind you today with my dogs. Your dogs were in bad shape and need grooming more often then once a year. Thats not a good dog owner. I've become a huge fan of Rub a Dub Doggie and Gerry, enough that I'm actually sitting down to write a review of my dog groomer... He's so great that he deserves it.Knowing that he was going to have to take a short time off for medical leave, Gerry made sure he stayed working until 10 o'clock at night to get through all his regulars so everyone was taken care of before he left. Amazing dedication that you only find from someone who owns their own business.He does a great job with our two labradoodles. They are calm and happy with him, which is more than I can say with their last experience in a grooming mobile van. He never cuts more than he has to, and they come out looking fluffy and adorable.Best of all, he has a partnership with Cheryl Klein at Daily Skoop (who we also love, btw), so she picks up and delivers the dogs, with a walk. We come home from work to find to clean, happy, fluffy puppies. Love it.

For over a year I was looking for someone to help me out and groom my dog because no one wanted to take her. It got so bad she had nots everywhere. Her head, legs, tail, etc. They went out of their way to help my family and I on grooming our dog. They did a great job and I will most definitely be coming back here!

I took my dog Bella not to long ago and when my cousin picked up my dog her nose had a cut and the hair cut was not done correctly one side of her face was longer than the other. My dog now is growls at everyone including me and won't let no one touch her or let's anyone showers her. O regret taking my dog here but blessings to them...

Took all three of my dogs here for the first time about a week ago. My first sign to leave should of been my sweet Goldens anxious body language to pull away from the owner or maybe how the owner pulled him into a crate. Anyways besides my lack of better judgement i left them there cause they desperately needed a groom. Long story short im pretty sure we were over priced for the service received, one of my dogs is itching like crazy, my golden is showing signs of aggressiveness every time his paws are touched and won't let me brush him anymore and my other got an eye infection. Not sure if other reviews are from friends.. Or if we just went on a bad day. Either way not going back. Pay attention to your dogs energy!!!

Very disaappointed. He told our son one price, then told us at drop of another and at pickup charged an even high price..We questioned it and he started yelling and threatened to call police, while taking our dog and locked her behind a door with him. Even his wife said, charge us the original quoted price. My dogs body and tail was totally shaved off and he left face very long. Stay away from this place, very unprofessional.

My mom had her dog groomed by this business the other day. Very shady! First, he wouldn't give her an estimate until he saw the dog. Unusual, but fine. Turns out he wanted $78 to do a little shih-tzu; double what was expected. At this point the dog was already in his arms, and, because of the lock down, in need of a haircut, so she grudgingly agreed. He also insisted on cash. Always a shady move, especially during these times when everyone is trying to be contactless.The worst part of this whole thing is that he did a really poor job on the trim. The dog is full of uneven spots, and her head and tail don't even look as though they were washed. At least if it was a good job it would be worth the one-time steep payment. But the poor thing looks like someone attempted a quarentine cut at home. Actually, I bet my mom would have done a better job herself!
