The best place for bagels in town, period! Their bagels are just delish with the perfect texture. I also really like the bread they use for their hero-it's so soft! Their chicken cutlet sandwiches are pretty good too, throw on some cheddar cheese, jalapeños, and some Russian dressing. The staff is super nice. Call ahead if you don't want to wait for your order, esp during the morning rush.

My first time coming here as my gf wanted a gluten free bagel. Ordered a gluten free bagel w/ cream cheese and a pastrami / cheese, no egg on a bagel. Some how that came out to 17$ before asking for a tip (which I gave, so it came out to 19$).Which is over the posted menu prices in store and online. Either update your menus to reflect accurate pricing or train your staff on how to properly bill out the items ordered. Then had to wait over 30 minutes for the food, not to mention one of the staff members was using the company phone to just chit chat with a friend about life instead of tending to the line of people there.

I am really sad to leave this review. This is the third time we tried "The Bagel Shop" in Heights. Unfortunately, we have never been satisfied, and we are going to have to call it quits on trying it again.We ordered two wraps with egg whites, spinach, and turkey bacon. As you can see, it was mostly bread, and there is very minimal spinach. I'm not sure what was on our cream cheese bagel, but it was not supposed to be there...

Moldy roll. Uncooked bacon. Absolutely horrible. Will never go back**We always ask for the bacon to be cooked "crispy". However it was still basically raw.Your "fresh" rolls has green mold on it. I attached the picture.Anyone can see their response to the situation. I didn't order it right that's why I got raw bacon. They get their rolls fresh daily that's why the green mold is on it.Instead of offering to make it right or offer a refund.Thanks bagel shop! Smh.

This was my first time here , and I am blown away! I come from The diner industry. A family owned diner in upstate New York and I can definitely tell you I know good quality food when I see it and when I taste it. This will definitely be another stop of mine soon! Love that it’s only 25 minutes from me

Good soft bagels, and I loved the scallion cream cheese. Coffee was also good. Wife had Taylor Ham, egg, and cheese and enjoyed it very much. Fast service and reasonably priced. We will be back!

When you live in the Tri-State area your bagel standards are pretty high, with that said, this breakfast spot is pure GOLD. This is the type of place you go out of your way for!The bagels are so fresh and tasty, the shop is very clean and they have an extensive menu with tons of options to choose from!Also, the owner Marissa is the sweetest!! :)We can’t wait to come back!!!

Love the bagels! The owner is so sweet and the staff is very welcoming. I’m recently gluten free and everyone was super accommodating. Great variety of breakfast and lunch options.

Yummy bagels. We had the Everything and the Whole wheat with Jalapeño cream cheese. Very nice. The Everything had a bit too much salt sprinkled on it though. Be mindful of that.

The Bagel Shop is so friendly and so nice not too expensive but they have a great outside seating area and the staff is nicer than most places ever I just pre-order and I always pick it up cuz it's right across the street or maybe four or five blocks the bagels are as good as the ones I got in Manhattan for 20 years and it's so nice to get a Taylor ham egg and cheese that really taste like the Jersey Shore love these guys I just wish they closed at 4:00 not to cuz sometimes you don't want to wake up at 2:00 and shower and get dressed but you know what they're probably open at 5:00 in the morning for the early showers but again I give them 10 out of 10 and the coffee is fantastic and I don't drink coffee just iced coffee when I go there that's the only coffee I drink show them love because they are awesome all the

Just stopped by for the first time. I'm very happy I did. Got a couple bagles with cheese, and I loved the interior and the service. So polite and the place is so clean, they also have a full menu of breakfast items and even burritos! I can't wait to try this place out more and bring my family more often.

Food is great but the guy behind the counter makes it even more special.. I went there once and when I came back the 2nd time he knew how I liked my eggs without ketchup.. that small detail is what keeps people like me coming back

Seems like a nice place with a great menu. Not sure what happened, perhaps it was an off day. I came in the morning and ordered a breakfast burrito. I saw a gentleman come out from the kitchen and place it on the counter where other orders were being staged. However 5 to 6 people came in, ordered, got their orders and left. No one seemed to see the burrito. I finally went up to the counter and asked for my burrito.

I come here every day for the last 3 years. If you want some GOOD Coffee, try this spot out! Their ices Coffee black is amazing and for an honest price as well. Consistently tasting coffee every single day is a must for me. The owner and the staff is extremely friendly and it is always a great vibe in there. HIGHLY RECOMMEND !

Stopped in a few times to pick up bagels. The first time, I used it to make a breakfast sammie to bring on a super early flight the next day. It wasn't great. The next time, I made another breakfast sammie but this time ate it fresh and it was pretty good. Not sure it's as good as NYC bagels but it will do. Next time, I think I'll have them make the breakfast sammie, or perhaps try a breakfast burrito. The sandwiches for lunch sound pretty good too.

I go here at least once or twice a week and I am always left satisfied. I usually get an everything bagel with veggie cream cheese and it is perfection! The staff is so nice and are always chatting with me, even if I do go in while they are cleaning up (which I feel bad about). Once, they gave me a bag of at least 20 bagels for free because they were going to throw them out. I highly recommend this place.

My family and I always go here. We love the people behind the counter and the food is the best. The owner is always there and makes sure everyone that leaves her place is satisfied and happy. My favorite breakfast is a boulevard burrito and lunch is the York. They also have the best coffee!!

Bagels were delicious but the egg platter with fries was tasteless and undercooked. I will order only bagels next time everything else is overpriced and tasteless. They don't even list the price of the menu board. It's very strange and shady not to list the price on the menu. Lady at the counter took my credit card and asked" if I want to add tips as a percentage of the order or any other amount ". Tips are optional and they should stop forcing the customer to tip on take out order.
