100 Stars to Dr. Frezzo and her staff. She's not only our vet, but she's like family to us - and treats us as such. She's been caring for our pets forever, and we'd trust no one more than her. Lovely staff, very helpful and knowledgeable, and genuinely CARES and LOVES animals to the utmost degree. We recommend her to everyone we know that has pets!! God bless her and her staff for everything they do! You. Are. The. BEST! <3 xo

Dr. Frezzo and the team at Animal Hospital of Hasbrouck Heights are outstanding! Dr. Frezzo has an integrative approach to treatment that combines both traditional and holistic medicine. She is very knowledgeable and takes her time answering all of my questions. My two pets love her and the team as well! In addition, the team is also very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful.

My sister and I have know Dr. Frezzo almost twenty years. She has cared for and treated three of our dogs. She always have been very honest, caring and dedicated to providing for the well-belling of our pets. Her staff has always been very professional with us and very attentive to our dogs needs. Recently, when my dog injured her leg, instead of having to go to Oradell, Dr. Frezzo was able to accommodate us and see us the next day. The staff goes above and beyond in helping us place orders for our dog's food, ordering medication and having it promptly ready, and calling us for lab results- usually the same day, and working with us and within our budget to ensure our dog gets the quality care she needs. We are very satisfied with Dr. Frezzo and her staff.

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Dr. Frezzo, her staff, and her office! She truly cares about your pets. We have an 18 year old dog who just went in for teeth cleaning/extractions. I was so nervous about putting her under anesthesia at her age but Dr. Frezzo assured me she would be fine. They called before and after and said I can call all day long if I wanted! During her recovery they even let me bring her a few days to give her the medicine because we had a hard time giving it to her ourselves. What I love about Dr. Frezzo and the office is that they never pressure you into anything. They create a list of things you can get/have done and as you go down the list, they will gladly cross things off if you don't want to do it at this time, or ever. Dr. Frezzo also works with essential oils for dogs instead of medications. We love Dr. Frezzo and highly recommend her to everyone we know!

My little Nina went to Dr Frezzo for a check up and have her nails cut. Left with a dislocated hip and died 3 days later. Dr Frezzo comforting words to us were " Sorry for the Inconvenience " . Is there more for me to explain what a horrible person she is. Beware before you let your furry love one go to Animal Hospital of Hasbrouck Heights.

Horrific experience here that eventually led to our little girl’s death. Popped her hip out of her socket during a routine visit, didn’t help us find the surgeon we desperately needed, didn’t call to check in on our puppy or our family, and called the cops when we came back to the office looking for answers after they falsified her records. If this is the treatment our dog received while we were in the room, can you imagine what happens behind closed doors? What happens when dog parents are forced to watch appointments through windows during Covid? If you love your babies, PLEASE GO ELSEWHERE. You’ll never forgive yourself if something goes wrong. Vets are supposed to love your animals and treat with compassion. This is the opposite of what you’ll get here.

I’ll be forever heartbroken that I lost my sweet baby girl this way. I’ll never forgive myself for taking her here. She was fine. I was just trying to find a new vet for our 4 dogs that was close by. They started a tragedy in motion Friday18th when the techs here dislocated Nina’s hip during a nail trim, then Dr Frezzo tried to pass it off after her “exam” as a dislocated knee from Nina’s luxating patella, even charging us for an anti inflammatory injection & meds to “calm” the knee down. Dr Frezzo told me her back legs looked good, ligaments were in place and to encourage Nina to walk on her leg so the knee would rotate back into place. Only the next day after the X-ray we insisted they do, did we know the extent of her injury, Nina’s hip bone was totally dislocated. What kind of vet can’t tell the difference between a knee being dislocated from luxating patella and a hip so badly dislocated that the ligament isn’t even in place? Either an incompetent one, or one that’s trying to cover up for what her staff did. Dr Frezzo tells me Saturday she’s “sorry for the inconvenience”, as her tech hands me my gravely injured dog outside on the sidewalk and that she’s never had anything happen like this In her 23 years of practice. Then as if she’s doing us a favor, she tells me she’ll be happy to call over to Oradell Animal Hospital and let them know we’re on our way with Nina, because she’ll need to be sedated to have the bone rotated back into the socket and her practice doesn’t handle something like that, again adding “so sorry about this”. I told her an “inconvenience” was making us wait an hour half past our appointment time the day before to be seen, not her staff dislocating Nina’s hip and that Oradell Animal Hospital or Blue Pearl were going to charge us thousands of dollars and I didn’t even know the people there. Not only did Dr Frezzo not offer to help us, neither her or her staff called once all weekend or Monday to ask how Nina was and what the outcome had been. After spending 4 hours at Newton Animal Hospital Saturday, we learned Nina needed emergency Orthopedic surgery. We spend two days making over 30 desperate phone calls to Hospitals in NJ, NYC & Philadelphia trying to find someone on call to help us, only finding one hospital on Sunday who said they would do it that day for $8000, an amount we didn’t have. By the time we got Nina to the angels at Howell Animal Hospital at 1130 am on Monday 21st for surgery, her little heart couldn’t take anymore and we lost her as the surgery began. Nina suffered for 3 days like this, gasping as I held her upright when she had to try to go to the bathroom, crying out as she tried to move herself into a comfortable position in her bed, her leg bent under her almost flat against her stomach. I was by her side around the clock trying to comfort her, neither of us sleeping. I’ll be forever haunted by those images. Dr Frezzo and her staff knew Nina had died when we to their office Tuesday to get her medical records, yet the front desk staff called the police on us, actually hitting the silent alarm meant for robberies and life threatening situations, all because two devastated people had the nerve to be in the office asking for medical records and demanding to know who wrote the blatantly fabricated version of Nina’s record we were handed. No screaming. No cursing. No threats. Apparently my crying and our elevated voices of despair warranted police intervention and 3 police cars. I’ve raised and fostered dogs of all sizes and breeds my entire life, dealt with countless vets, animal hospitals, rescue groups and serious medical issues over the years in this country & abroad and Ive never witnessed the level of incompetence, complete lack of empathy & integrity or disregard for a beautiful little life lost as I did the past week. If you love your baby as we did ours, we warn you from the bottom of our broken hearts, don’t bring them here.

Please do not listen to all the negativity. I have a dog that I have been bringing to Dr. Frezzo for years and have never had a problem. Additionally, the Dr. calls and speaks with me directly about my dog and the office always calls to follow-up. How many vets do that?
