My husband had scallops - absolute fabulous. Service was good. We sat outside on the porch. I loved my cauliflower steak. They have a great chef.Appetizer shared served on a long narrow wooden board, like focaccia bread with a yummy topping of cheeses and fresh tomato. Out of this world delicious.They were out of cola so we had ice tea.Vegetarian options: Cauliflower steak with white beans was so good. Lovely seasonings.

This was my first time here and I likely won’t return. Long story short the wait time was too long for food. It’s the curse of LBI but it still stops me from returning to some places.The long story: The location was cute and the menu looked amazing. Staff seemed friendly. There weren’t many people in at all waiting and there were zero people in line. When we ordered our toasts, another customer was commenting about the wait time and was about to leave. They said it was an error and brought his stuff out quickly. Then our wait started. After 25 min we asked where our items were. We were told it would be right out bc they have a small kitchen it takes a while and then we continued to wait for much longer. It personally felt like an excessive wait time for something simple I wouldn’t have ordered any food if I knew. We also ordered cold items so it wouldn’t need to be cooked. As a local I know I’m biased from working at other LBI spots for years. But maybe have a more limited menu or something to help alleviate the wait times on a weekend if the kitchen size is the issue.

Atmosphere is nice and beautiful and the plating is suburb but the food and wait time was subpar. My sibling and I waited nearly 30 min for eggs and toast. Mind you there was only one other customer there. It also cost me nearly $20 for my meal and a coffee.

Despite OT showing a full menu, they only offered 4 different tacos. We had to ask for napkins, more water and "where is our food"? Food was served over 30 minutes with some of us finished before others were served. One of us never was served. Food was good but service was awful.

The best turkey burgers and BLT's we ever had! There was a slight mix up with the order, the cook missed two entrees.Very friendly and relaxing atmosphere. Hostess,/server and managerquickly rectified the error.

I came in the other day, and the girl working the front was absolutely AMAZING!! I think her name was Ali, she was very kind and extremely sweet. I ordered the jerk chicken tacos, they were quite delicious. However, the environment seemed a little disorganized. I’m giving this place 5 stars for Ali and the tacos, but three stars for the cafe itself.

Lived here for 10 years and this is what we need in this location! Very hip-like starbucks with plenty of places to sit down and enjoy a coffee or snack. Cold brew coffee is STRONG that’s why I am writing this review. Puts How You Brewin to shame with the taste. Only thing is it is kinda of pricey for a coffee but worth it!

Birdy's has become a favorite spot of ours on LBI. Amy has created a unique, bright environment with attentive service, baked goods that cannot be resisted, & art & furnishings-for sale- that lift your spirits. The coffee is rich & tasty, the BLT the best we've ever eaten. Perfectly toasted bread accented with olive oil, perfectly crisped lean bacon. Hurry in; open weekends until New Year's.
