One of the best grocery stores in the area for produce and prepared meals.Produce is of high quality, great price and always fresh.I buy many of the prepared meals here. There is always a large selection with dishes changing with the seasons. The quality, freshness and flavor is well with the price. The hot food bar is also a great help when needing a quick hot meal immediately.I have to be honest I don't do my full grocery shopping here. I find their prices on general items a bit high. You can get better deals at either Shop Rite or Acme.

This Use to be fooodtown and now fresh grocer . The store is at right size and everything inside is well organized. The store is not so busy during daytime which makes it easier for you to shop.Fruits and vegetables are extremely fresh and prices are responsible..The parking lot is huge but need repairs.

Gourmet catering for my daughter’s 1st Birthday party! My 35 guests raved about the shrimp platter appetizer, sushi platter, and assortment of cheese platter professionally displayed. The delicious main entrees included filet mignon, meatballs, chicken franchise, and a lot more! Catering provided serving tongs, salad dressings, dinner rolls, and everything needed to enjoy a tasty meal. A great party starts with gourmet food, and my guests were highly impressed with the quality of food. Hope my fantastic experience helps you decide.

We have been shopping here for 15+ years. This WAS a great supermarket. However, in the past year it has descended to ruin. The aisles are constantly blocked with abandoned stocking dollies and p.o.p. displays. The dairy section is filled with expired items. Most employees are disinterested or unprofessional, poorly managed!

This store seems to have some stock issues. Last few times I’ve gone they’re completely out of one of the items I’m looking for (bread, greens, yogurt). I’ve also encounter a hard time trying to return an item. Saving grace here is that the prices are very fair and match ShopRite. Close to home so I stop here only when I’m in a complete rush.

I love this supermarket. It has everything you need. My fave are their Nnce bakery, hot fresh food to take out, fresh variety of sushi, Razonable prices.

Though tough to get in and out of the parking lot, this little spot has it all. A bit pricey compared to the larger chains but a good selection nonetheless. I stopped in yesterday and grabbed some takeout sushi and sparkling water. It didn't disappoint.

We are doing are shopping in this store every single day. And its a shame that such a nice store lets something like this happening. This is the 3rd time I’m finding expired baby food. First time was when my 1 year old daughter got sick from one of these. After that we found 4 more Gerber baby pouches expired, We talked to the manager and she assured us that this is not going to happen again. Today i found 10 of those expired. I just want to people be aware of this.

Ordered through their catering and bakery departments for a party this past weekend and was not disappointed. Both hot buffet and mini roll sandwiches were absolutely delicious. Food was delivered and sterno racks set up. Cake was amazing! Will definitely use their catering service again!

Whoever precuts the cold cuts in the deli dept. must be a VERY LAZY person who just wants to get their job done. The ham cold cuts that I picked up at the deli counter was cut SO thick that I could have had it for dinner with a knife, fork and some pineapple, mashed potatoes and a vegetable on the side. I will NEVER buy from there again!! I will always stand on line and order cold cuts so they are cut properly and edible on a sandwich. Really!!! Who is overseeing what's happening here?? I guess no one?

Seems like a smaller version of Shoprite but with a bigger selection of better for you items. I can’t see myself going out of the way here too often unless there’s a good sale on the flyer. Nice workers too!

Always very clean...I usually find what I go for. The bakery is absolutely wonderful!!! Bonnie at deli is so very nice and Friendly and efficient. Best cashier is Samantha.She's very helpful and pleasant. Luv to go shopping here....

Great Mozzarella, Good meatcutting. Seafood is average. Produce is great. Some things are more expensive than Whole Foods, and the quality is often lower. Shop here often, but room for improvement.

Five years ago, I gave a five-star rating. I am lowering it to three stars because they are discontinuing so many products that I love. Today I could not find any Muir Glen fire-roasted tomatoes, or any similar product. Not the first product to which this has happened.

This store is more manageable that those large super stores that are out there now. They are well stocked with the popular brands. Downside they have to get a handle on the digital coupon situation, I have to stand at Kiosck in the store and you have to check your reciept to make sure coupons came off the bill

This is my favorite food store in the whole state of New Jersey. I've been shopping here for over 20 years and just love this store. It used to be Food Town but now it is called The Fresh Grocer...same store different name. I always get my sauteed broccoli rabe from Bella in the catering department, because it's the best that I every tasted along with her stuffed peppers and other prepared hot foods. The deli department is always clean and the meats/cheeses are fresh also. The prices are a little more than ShopRite but you can save money by shopping for items on sale and using the digital coupons. On a scale of 1-10, I give this store a +12!!

I have driven past this store for many years, and after finally stopping in, Super Foodtown of North Haledon is one of my favorite local supermarkets. Once you enter you'll understand why it is one of the top family markets in North Jersey. With its clean, bright, and open design, the store is easy to navigate with friendly staff available to help you find items you're looking for. However, I encourage you to take your time and peruse the aisles to see all of the unique, and many times local, offerings stocking the shelves. I am also a fan of the delicious bakery and myriad of fresh cooked items available in the deli section.Give this store a try, and I believe you'll be as pleasantly surprised with this hidden gem as I was.

Nice place. Satisfies most day to day needs and beyond. The bakery is nice and the staff is pleasant. Space is limited, so the aisles are a little tight. Variety and selection of products is commensurate with the smaller space. For people allergic to chicken eggs, I've seen duck eggs sold here.

When I went to college at William Patterson, I would usually go here instead of Stop & shop for my supplies. Even though it was a bit out of the way the prices were much better, and the selection was wider. It's hard to beat that on top of the liquor store right next to it. I think some of the sushi is from the same chef from arigoto. They have a great deal for buy two get one free. Can't beat that.

A very pleasant young lady at the courtesy desk helped me by loading digital coupons to my club card. The store is smaller than most grocery stores, but it is well stocked. Very nice produce section and excellent bakery if you need a special dessrt!

Foodtown? Update, now the Fresh Grocer. Nicholas Markets! Really above par in selection and freshness of produce, fish etc... It's a really nice looking store inside as well. Just a great place to shop. High quality all around.

My husband and I just traveled 3 hrs and were looking forward to relaxing and a quick dinner. The assortment of items to bring home was amazing and look so very good. They were tasty and hit the spot without the expense of eating out and the mess of making everything ourselves.
