Called ahead they had exactly what I was looking for once I got in I got it within minutes these guys are friendly, organized, clean and have a great selection. Will definitely come here for my hardware needs again!

Throughout the years I have only been in there a few times I don't frequent it often but each time I do go in there the workers are extremely helpful and friendly and they listen to you and what your needs are and they do accommodate you by pointing out what is the best item for you and they explain how to use it I will always count on this place as long as I live in this area they are pretty good I advise everyone to go there

Amazing mom and pop hardware store! I need a new kitchen strainer for the sink and they had 10 different types in stock to choose from! The help is knowledgeable and attentive. If you're fed up with HD and the lack of customer service... pay a visit to Tanis. They've earned my business!

I'm so grateful for Tanis and the employees that work there. There is always someone, an expert, there to help. I spend so little time here because they know exactly what I need and quickly find it for me in the store. Home Depot or Lowe's don't come close, there you have to figure everything out for yourself. Prices are the same, if not cheaper, too!

I love Tanis. Everyone that works there is knowledgeable and helpful. They always have what you need. I can't give them the 5th star because pretty much everything is more expensive than home Depot or Lowe's. I'll pay a small premium for the convenience and to support local, but it can get substantial for a medium size project

I was searching for some screws for my computer chair and I finally got it here. I searched in so many big stores like Home Depot and Lowe’s but I could not find it or there was no proper assistance. In this store The moment I entered the store the lady in the counter assigned an elderly man to find the screws and he was like a flash to find it. Loved the store in my first visit. Parking was little troublesome. If there was a cop at that place, he would have given me a ticket for my driving skills at the parking lot😀

Always great service here old school the staff helps and they engage all customers. Something you DO NOT find in the big box stores. Prices are higher but as a business owner myself you must pay slighty higher for top notch service. I bet if you were buying in bulk they would cut an offer so before you go drop 500 bucks at the big guys stop by here talk to anyone behind the counter you'd be surprised.One of the best businesses in Haledon.

Excellent neighborhood hardware store. Very well stocked. Reasonably priced and knowledgeable staff. Plumbing electrical, household, paint, automotive and construction materials. Every screw, nail and miscellaneous hardware. Plus propane refill. Support your local proprietors.
