This was my first time trying and I ordered chicken cheese steak and cheese fries (whiz). The cheese steak is packed with meat and could easily feed 2-3 in my house. It was flavorful, but I’ve had better. You get a lot of fries and they’re just your basic French fries. The whiz was very salty to the point, I couldn’t eat them or at least the ones with the whiz. I wouldn’t order the cheese steak again, but I will definitely try a cold sub next time. It’s definitely a great value for the money.

I had a horrible experience doing take out. Waited for 20 minutes for an order. The manager was arguing the entire time with the girl who was waiting the counter. The yelling and criticism was offputting. Then my food was left sitting behind the counter and no one called my name. The manager then asked who I was and handed me the bag, I told her I’ve been waiting for 20 minutes and nothing was done to rectify the situation. It’s a shame because I really enjoy their food but I don’t know if I’ll be coming back.

Becoming a regular here, so I'll write a review.Place your order from a fair selection of menu items and wait for your order to be filled. You can order on a seeded roll or a plain roll.Friendly staff, but somewhat slow cook time. But if this is the worst of everything, I can live with it. We ordered the cheesesteak and fries to go.Good cheesesteak sandwich with ample amount of meat filling. A cut above the pizza parlor sandwiches. Fries were hot and fresh.A great place when you crave a cheesesteak sandwich.

I love this place. The food is so good here. I have ordered several different things from the menu and it all tasted great but their cheese steaks are the best. They also have a complimentary little pickle and pepper bar that you can enjoy. This place has such a relaxed atmosphere and is good for kids. They also have desserts and serve several different types of water ice which also taste great.

First time eating with the wife and two young kids. I appreciate the dine-in option with high chairs. Also, the service was fantastic. And the restaurant was extremely clean. Then the food… hot, fresh, and amazing. I had the meatball parm in sesame roll. Wife had the cheesesteak. Kids split the chicken tenders and fries. Pepsi fountain for the win. Surprisingly, the BBQ sauce for the tenders is what I used for dipping o er ketchup. It was sweet and tangy. <$50 for all four of us and we had leftovers for another meal. Today, that’s pretty decent for this quality of food. We will be back and I highly giving this place a shot if you’re in the mood for a warm sandwich.Kid-friendliness: High chairs available and very clean.

I was across the street getting oil change on my pickup truck. I decided to go eat something and looked on google what was close to me and Johnny Longhots came up. I walked on over and walked inside and was amazed at the awesome murals on the walls and all the hometown decorations. You can see the owner spared no expense when designing this place. Everything is 🔝 Class. I ordered a Cheesesteak with Fried Onions and Cooper sharp on a seeded roll and French fries with a side of wiz. The cheesesteak was amazing well seasoned and the copper sharp oh my god it’s so addicting was in every bite of steak and not globbed up in one area. The bread is incredible. The best I’ve had. The French fries were curly and nice size crunchy and delicious. The best part was that they use real wiz. I can’t tell you how many places use fake wiz. All in all everything was delicious and worth the price point. That seeded roll. I’m still thinking about it. I definitely will be back. Everyone was polite and professional. I highly recommend this place if you love sandwiches. They also have cutlets and cold hoagies and big menu. Thanks Johnny Longhots for bringing some fire food to the neighborhood. Wish I could give 0 stars, but had to give 1 to post review. Placed order through Yelp, was ready quickly as place was empty. Got food home only to find out they did not make one of the sandwiches correctly. Super disappointing since the place was empty. I guess they don't know what goes on their own sandwiches. Maybe look at your menu next time. Sucks for a vegetarian to find meat on their vegetarian sandwich.Called to complain and ask for a refund for the one sandwich and was told I would have to come back to get a refund. They stated they couldn't process a refund for the one sandwich, it would refund the entire order. That would be fine with me, given the other sandwich which they made correct was not good. Dry tired chicken cutlets.First and last time for Johhny Longhots. What a disappointment all around.

I’ve been here a few times before before it was sold off. I couldn’t believe the difference with the new ownership. I really really hope this was just a Fluke. This cheesesteak is unacceptable. The meat use to be double that! So disappointed.An update: I emailed the owner and he quickly responded that this was not their norm and would be speaking with their staff. He also stated that they would make it right by giving us a free cheesesteak the next time we go. I will update again after I go back.

Place was great at first.Ordered a meatball with penne vodka sauceGot home, 2 meatballs on a big cut roll, and the roll was like a bowl of sauce. When I went to eat it, it turned to mush in my hands cuz whoever made it overfill it with sauce.Penne Vodka dinner for wife? The container was less than half full of the pasta lol. But hey they gave me a good amount of the tater tot side, thanks guys.Love coming into a place spending $47 and getting half or so of what shohld actually be provided. But you know what, the serving size is fine, that doesnt bhg me. What bugs me is I cant eat my food like a normal person. The bread being completely mush and sauce spilling all over was annoying. Now I have to eat my sub out of a bowl with a fork

Completely DisappointedI have visited Johnny Longshots exactly twice. One in Marlton and once, yesterday, in Hainesport. Two very different experiences.Marlton was good. The food was fine, the service and people were pleasant. My buddy and I went – we got 2 cheesesteaks, 2 cokes, 2 fries, lots of food…..total cost $28.53. No problem.Hainesport sucked. I ordered one cheesesteak, one coke, one fries…..a lot less food…$23.99 and the food sucked. The steak was tasteless and they forgot the onions. The waitstaff (the girl at the register) was curt, rude, unpleasant, unhelpful and downright nasty. I was asked if I wanted a “seeded roll”…up charged me $.75 ( never mentioned an added cost). Did I want cheese on my cheesesteak (isn’t that what a cheesesteak is)? Another upcharge. The place is called Johnny LONGHOTS – longhots on my sandwich was $1.75. Yet another upcharge. All this and the food sucked.Marlton is better, prices are way better. People are way better. Hainesport is a total rip-off. Will NEVER go back and…I am telling everyone I know NOT TO PATRONIZE this place.Oh, did I mention this place sucks.

I Have been looking for a cheesesteak place that wasn't a pizza shop. this was a great find. The bread is soft, they made it how i wanted it. The the Woman at the register was super friendly and knowledgeable about the food. Crinkle cut fries are my favorite all time with cheese whiz They were magnificent, The Chicken cheesesteak was absolutley awesome the seeded bread was softer than i thought it would be. Every sandwich can be replaced with chicken good stuff . Definitely my new spot.

Simple and easy. I was in and out. Love their Italian hoagies but felt like a hot dog, just plain with sauted onions. I used to go to wawa, but they never have any available. Once I found they have them, I don't waste my time trying wawa anymore. Hoagies are a good size, so we share them. But this time, I was happy to get my tasty hot dog.

Last night was our first time, the service was very good. We have tried other places where the sandwiches were very disappointing, Johnny Longhots EXCEEDED EXPECTATIONS, the sandwiches were juicy, well seasoned and very filling. I recommend Johnny Longhots to anyone who is looking for GREAT FOOD, GREAT SERVICE AND AN OVERALL EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE.

Very good food served by very knowledgeable and friendly staff. Roast pork sandwich along with tots with cheddar cheese sauce both amazing! The sandwich was toasted to melt the cheese sort of like Quiznos. The tots were fresh, crisp and plentiful. Who doesn't like fried potatoes just out of the fryer? Give them a try... you will not be disappointed!

I got out my s and p fully ready to season my Eggplant which I always have to do. I always taste my food before adding anything, thank goodness I didn’t! It was sooooooo good. I got Eggplant Seppe Special ( crispy eggplant cutlets, ricotta, fresh spinach and mozzarella, and vodka sauce w/ linguine). I wished I could eat it all but sadly I couldn’t lol. You can split this dinner w/ 2 if you order an extra side salad. I was impressed by the crispness of the eggplant even with sauce all over it. I would order it again. My family also ordered Barbecue Cheesesteak and Ham and cheese Hoagie, no complaints from my guys! I’d order this meal again.Vegetarian options: If you like eggplant, this is for you. They have cheese hoagies as well.
