I had to trim/buff my dog's nails, which went terrific despite him being over 100 lbs., an American bully who, let's say that it, is his least favorite activity; the groomer was patient and gentle with my Rhino. He managed to trim the nails, but buffering forgot about it; Rhino did not have it that day. The cost was updated, and I apologized and paid the reduced price. Thank you for caring for my Rhino!

Instead of declining my appointment they think they can tell me what to do by asking all these questions when all I need for you to do is do your job. Obviously the people who work here don’t know how to handle poodles with alot of hair. Don’t come here if you need a realDog hair cut. They don’t get paid enough so they treat the customers badly lol

This place is horrible they drug dogs just to groom them . No animal should be drugged to get pampered stay away from this place unless you want your dog medicated without your permission stay away .

My dog Milo has been getting groomed by Alicia for about 2-3 years and she is incredible. He is very particular about who grooms him and really needs someone who is patient. Alicia makes this experience so much less stressful for him than other groomers in the past. Highly recommend her! I have occasionally allowed other groomers here to groom my pup and they are all great! But Alicia is my go to we love her 😅

Several months ago I made an appt with Joe for my 8 month, 50 lb goldendoodle. Joe was awesome, giving me so much information on the phone. We talked about how my puppy has a wavy/curly coat and at that point she had A lot of growth, never been groomed before, but i faithfully combed/brushed her everyday. I told Joe she did have a big mat under her chin and he said he would check it and it could possibly be shaved off but before he did anything he would call me after I had dropped her off for her appt.Unfortunately, after making the appt with Joe I had to cancel it for another important appointment and made one earlier with a female employee (not quite sure but i think it was Jennifer.). I feel like the moment she saw how big, how much hair and how young my puppy was she decided she didn't want to tackle that project that day, lol.My dog may not have been groomed professionally but she is well behaved because I did do some grooming at home that she was already used to. Although to be fair, she doesnt know my dog so i understand that she can't predict how a puppy will react to being groomed for the first time.But the lady then said she may only be able to groom her face, nails and that it. She said the body was immaculate, no matting but the chin matting had to be shaved down by a vet and she therefore could not do anything, she could not groom my puppy that day. I was shocked, i spent weeks waiting for the grooming just to be told that nonsense.A few days later I actually, very carefully shaved the matting off in a few seconds, a flat 2 inch knot, gone. If it had been so close to the skin it would not be possible for me to do it so easily. It literally wasnt a problem for me at all and im obviously no professional. Then I cut down her whole body with clippers, half way which was about 3 inches and then I tackled a bit of the feet and face with a smaller clipper. Took about 2 hours with breaks in between and treats but she looked GREAT. I am now her sole groomer and my dog is not matted at all and looks like a typical doodle with a cute teddy bear cut. That interaction with an unwilling employee just saved me tons of money:)THANKS PETCO!

Very nice staff and everything is done on time. I booked bath and full service for $50, but when I got there, they told me that because the dog is too young, so no hair groom is needed. In the end, I paid only $25 for the bath and nail. It's great that they didn't try to push for services I'm not sure about. The staff there are warm and polite, my dog came out happy and pretty. I'm very happy with my choice here, definitely will be back soon.

We've used other groomers from this Petco, not that satisfied with them. They didn't do everything they were supposed to do. We're very very happy with Joseph, he did a great and going forward we would just like to use him.

Joe was very tender with my dog, the only thing I was not satisfied was with the cashier, she was not attentive at all, and I gave her a coupon and it was not deducted, and she staple the receipt upside down so I will not notice it.
