Terrific park, beautiful scenery with varied terrain surrounded by rolling hills and brooks including trials of flat ground, gentle hills, as well as challenging hikes that can give you a good cardio workout. Wildlife aplenty such as deer, squirrels, birds, feral cats, etc.

Nice trails to hike or bike. Very dog friendly as well with plenty of garbage cans and places to grab a poop bag if needed. The trails are pretty flat with only a few hills to climb. It is extremely manageable, clean and has beautiful grounds.

If you love an open meadow, this is the park. There is a river flowing as well and the sound of water gushing will uplift your spirits.Unfortunately , the public cannot walk up the hill - seems like a private residence or establishment is under construction.I have been there several times - rain, snow, sunshine and it never fails to disappoint .

I love the loops at the Somerset County Park at Natirar! Three different loops with walking and hiking options from 1 to 4 miles: 4 miles being if you hike all 3 loops. Good surfaces and very well maintained taking you to beautiful wild meadows with gorgeous natural flora and fauna. Wide open views as well!

Great walking trails … the Natrir park is a beautiful wide open park … it has walking trails …. Streams and a lot of wide open space if you are looking to bring a blanket and chillThings to note …. There are outdoor restrooms by lower parking lot …. If our area gets a lot of rain these trails become muddy…. Mostly flat trails so an easy walkThere are no swings or playground. Some young kids bring a small bike or scooter.Lots of people walking their dogsPlenty of garbage cans to clean up after your petI hope you enjoy this little park as much as I have over the yearsBtw. I have noticed people over the years fishing in the stream. I would assume you need a nj fishing license but another option if you enjoy fishing

Natirar Park is a beautiful park and where I frequently run. The park is well maintained, very scenic, and a great place to decompress being surrounded by nature. It is also great for dogs to run around in the huge open fields! I also had my engagement shoot here with my fiance. It makes for a great backdrop with many rustic options.

Perfect wedding venue. The house inside is HUGE and perfectly decorated. Leave plenty of time for your photographer because you’re going to want a lot of photos in all the cute little notches. You’ll dazzle your guest with the stunning views during your ceremony. Just don’t look down the hill if you’re afraid of heights.

Keep in mind that you are not allowed to drive up to the castle/mansion unless you are having an event there or are invited. The park around it though is available to the public and is absolute gorgeous. Very clean and greatly maintained, picturesque views, wild life, streams, party of the way is shaded part is under the sun.

Oh my word! This place is grade A. There are so few open pastures, of size, left on the east coast. A real treasure with wide graveled walkways. Lucky community. Gorgeous.

A true jewel in Somerset county. Serene expansive views. Great place for a walk. Nature hike section is uphill at points - your heart will definitely feel it. It wraps around a large wildflower meadow. Incredible view of the sunset on mostly clear days. Dogs on leashes allowed. A few picnic tables close to the parking lot. Port-o-john restrooms available.

The best part about driving a group of people through here to the literal mansion and apparently private restaurant was realizing that while this is a pretty standard night out for the group of people chatting behind me- it will take me another year of saving every penny from my paychecks to MAYBE afford the potentially life saving dental surgery that I have been needing for almost two years now. By the time I can afford it, I'm sure sepsis will have its way with me.Beautiful park though,5/5

This is a wonderful park for a pleasant walk. It has a 1.3 mile easy loop around a huge open grass field and next to a stream. There are 2 other hilly loops with beautiful views. It is a dog friendly park.

Enjoyable park. Great place to play catch with dogs, throw footballs with family, or lay out a blanket and have a picnic. There is a large grassy area to lounge, and extensive trails that loop around. Aside from the trails and grassy areas there aren’t any other amenities aside from the mansion on the mountain. Great place to go for a walk/ run for a couple of hours.
