Everyone was so nice. I was strolling with my luggage to purchase. And was asked by an associate if they can put it up at the register for me. Absolutely!Wrapped all glass items. Store is well maintained. Clean.One alarm wasn’t taken off an item when I got home I noticed. But I took a wire cutter to it. Done. I recommend this store.

I really don't want to give even one star but I will for the manager Marisol because she was very professional. But to the associate named Nubia or Nubian, she shouldn't be working at all she was extremely rude and annoyed to help. Was giving an attitude like she owns tjmaxx. I would suggest good coaching for her!!

I bought a plastic bottle on Wed. (11/29/2023), but the hanger was broken on the first day I used it.Went to the store asking for return on Fri. (12/01/2023). A senior cashier lady asked for receipt, and insisted that no return without receipt or a price tag (to prove the item was bought from TJMaxx). She even said this bottle might not be sold at the store. I offered to find the same bottle at the store, but she refused.Then she asked her manager, who said the same thing (receipt or price tag) at first. I explained that price tag was removed before first use and couldn't find receipt.Manager was very rude, said I couldn't understand her, kept interrupting me, and even once asked me not to talk. I had to try my best to calm down.Eventually I found a same bottle at the store proving it was bought right there. Finally got refund, but was really angry with their attitude and rude behaviors.

I'm not a TJ Maxx regular or even an occasional TJ Maxx shopper but will go with family members who enjoy shopping.I've not been to the TJ Maxx in a while but I must say the store seems to have reorganized and focused their product selection and also displays.The available product seems trimmed down a bit but with a better selection if that's possible. This was most noticeable in the homewares area.In the past I recall just big endless piles of stuff. TJX seems to have things a bit more organized and gives a bit of room to feature name brands.I did see an enormous spread of coffee flavor syrups - it was over the top with how many syrup flavors and brands were in this particular area but the selection was amazing and the prices even more amazing.This selection was prominent at the end of an island so it made a nice display. I like how this display was very focused front and center without an endless rambling of misc never ending products.They still have that but it seems more intentional than just throwing stuff on shelves.

Was my first time shopping here today. Would’ve left 4 stars but absolutely hated being stared down and followed around the beauty section by your store’s security guard. I am a young, professional looking woman. Please find some actual thieves to catch.

Some of the cashiers are really nasty. It's the ones with a "manager" tag. They make up their own rules as they go along. I bought a very expensive designer dress (purple label) and I asked them to leave it on a hanger. The lady refused and said, "we don't give hangers away." She couldn't have been nastier. This was a $300+ dress at this store.

Constantly accusing blacks for stealing when they are paying customers with a legit receipt. If you are reading this and understand what shopping while black is, this is the store. This store is waiting on a lawsuit along with the police they call. As a African American LEO understand that we can not illegally detain someone. Doing a FOIA can get you calls made by Tjmaxx to the local pd, which will show local pd is harassing black

this store use to be good.. but it’s not anymore. the store is a mess and they have very little merchandise. they’ve gone down hill. not to mention, some of the employees are rude. especially the woman who is always at the register that looks like she has a rats nest on her head. she was beyond rude to me the last time i was here.

Terrible employees that accuse others of theft. They made a mistake during checkout and then blame the customer. Never seen them treat someone that way when the store was clearly in the wrong.

Absolutely horrible, deplorable customer service. Only called to see if they had something in stock prior to driving over, and the female who answered the phone was very rude, almost obnoxious, and said that she was too busy to check because they had to line out the door, and not enough staff. Hire some more employees, or don't answer your phones!!! I am selling ALL of my 4000+ shares of TJX on Monday. This company went down the tubes (to say the least). Not what it used to be, and not the least bit recommended.

The fact that none of the employees stood up for the paying customers that were being racially profiled is disgusting. That whole situation could’ve been defused if the manager or managers would’ve just simply stated that they did not steal . Police like them love picking at people of color . Glad to know how my tax dollars are spent .

Was there yesterday...the lady at the Register was the rudest, belligerent person I ever met...A make up item had no price & she told me to go back & find another with a price on it...I told her I was NOT going back to search for another to please send an employee to get a price....I am disabled...She went back ..grabbed a make up with a price...When I got home it was the wrong color item..not the make up I wanted...She just threw it in my bag...Now I have to make another trip to return it...I agree with the other reviews that the employees at the Registers are rude....

NOTE TO ALL TJ MAXX AND CORPORATE, once QUALITY merchandise GOING TO THE GARBAGE DUMP! Clothing DRESSES, SHOES ARE OF THE stylING like a RELIGIOUS POLYGAMY CULT. Ugly praries dresses, frilly flowered plain DUMB FOR ANY MODERN WOMAN. MODERNIZE THIS ASAP ITS RIDICULOUS, women are not living in 19th century Kansas! Next, the once name brand cosmetics have been replaced with CHEAPAZZ CHINESE TOXIC OFFBRANDS that god knows what poisons are in them. Wheres the American brands? oh thats right now ASIA GETS THE GOOD STUFF and A erica gets dollar store toxins. I barely shop there whats presented as fashion ( if your little house on the prarie) is disgusting and insulting. Plus the sizes are cut on TINY ASIAN MODELS so a size medium is a xs in reality. American women are large, not diminutive tiny women like the asian fitting models. ( i worked in fashion yes they fit and cut these rags in asia not nyc).

1 star is too much for this store. Worst customer service ever. Out of 4 employees each just passed me to another as quick as possible. These workers are either underpaid, overworked, or both. The organization is to clump everything together without rhyme or reason. I was ordered by the last associate I reached after standing in line for 30 minutes to search through the entire store. Again, these employees must have truly horrible working conditions to be made to be so nasty, appalled at the prospect of helpin customers, and devoid of capacity for assistance.

I rarely write a bad review - however, it’s not the first time I have a nasty experience at this TJ Maxx in Stirling NJ. I was just there 20 minutes ago with my young daughter, and I wanted to try two sweaters in the dressing room. I have NEVER been told I could not go in there with my daughter in the handicap/family room. It’s a Sunday, NO ONE else is in the dressing rooms, and the lady came behind me and YELLED “NO”... it’s for handicap people only. All this while she grabbed the handle THAT I WAS STILL HOLDING... and slammed the door SHUT. I was in complete disbelief. I’m not an unreasonable person. I could see if it was a busy Sunday evening (but it was not since it’s almost closing time), and I can even understand if there were people waiting on a waiting room... BUT IT WAS EMPTY! She literally slammed the door in my face and told me and my daughter I could not go in there. FYI.. I’m 5 months pregnant, so I could have argued that fact, but... why argue with a bitter old lady who is clearly guarding the big dressing room with her life! Last time I come to this mediocre store. Disgusting, they don’t even deserve the one star I’m giving then.

Just seen the tick tock video I'm truly disappointed in your staff and the lack of ownership in that situation. TJ Max needs to make it right and give them 100k a piece for the embarrassment and lack of service they endured. I hope people of all races don't step foot in your establishment until it's done.

This TJ Maxx location ( Gillette) has lots of unique and expensive brand clothes that you will not be able to find at other locations in NJ. However, My bad experience with the customer service today will prevent me shopping this place anymore. The cashier almost spent 20 minutes to enter my driver license # to put my information to exchange the clothes. Then, she told me that she can’t perform exchange due to several reasons. At that time, i got really angry! Are you kidding me? Why do you waste my precious time and others time waiting online? The manager came and told me that she is in training and said sorry. This should be not an EXCUSE. I left all clothes and other items that I was planning to purchase and left the store unhappy and very angry.TJ MAXX UPPER LEVEL MANAGERS- You need to teach your employees how to be efficient and more communicative with the customers. Please note that without customers, TJ MAXX stores will not be alive!!!

Shopping center has lots of stuff, several places to have lunch and a huse wine store but since Pathmark, and whatever replaced it for a few years, closed, NO SUPEMARKET,nor drug store- for that you have to head west a bit for walgreens and Shop-Rite.Big parking lot but not always easy finding a space, particularly one close by TJ Maxx. The store as a great assortment of women's, men's, kids' and household stuff - come to browse - not with something specific to be purchased!

Best TJ Maxx in the area. I always find hidden treasures here. This TJ Maxx is much more organized and clean than others in the area. They redid the fitting rooms recently, they are roomy and much better than before. There are a few family and handicapped fitting rooms, which is wonderful. There's an "off the runway" section here. The home section is great too. And there is also a full sized "home goods" a few doors down (in the same shopping center) if you don't find what you're looking for. Although it gets busy, there is a huge parking lot. If you drive around a couple times, you'll always find a spot.
