I am so glad this hardware store is here in Frenchtown. The store is a great balance of practical and idiosyncratic. It's got everything you need but it also has character and personality- stories, mementos and local eggs, honey, crafts and more. So nice to have a practical anchor like this in town. Shop local!

This is the best small town hardware store I've been to. The owner is super friendly and helpful. It's not only a hardware store, but a community hub that supports local crafts people. They have more than you would think upon first glance, nearly anything you would need. Highly recommend!

I worked in a hardware store for many years in NYC. Mike has a complete hardware store and then some. He has virtually anything you would need to make your home repairs. It is a classic hardware store associated with small towns everywhere. It's worth a visit even if you don't need to buy anything.

I've been buying just about everything I need (except lumber) from Frenchtown Hardware for years, many years. Mike seems to always have what I need from washers for my faucet to the perfect color paint. There are like a billion things tucked away in that store. I'm surprised it's not a tourist attraction.

It’s sad to say... but I will never shop here again. My wife and her family have been regular customers for almost 40 years. Since the store was owned by Gene. This new owner a tall bald fella....is not only rude but downright disrespectful to his customers. He tried to shame me for not having cash on me and using my debit card.

I feel like I have to apologize that I came in for a small item, interrupted the owners lunch AND had the nerve to need a little help. The owner treated me like I was a PITA and stupid woman instead of a customer. Unacceptable treatment and I will never go back.

Go anywhere else !!! Small hardware shop with minimal products, and beware of the grumpy bald dude who has zero customer service and minimal people skills. Go to Home Depot or Lowe’s where your patronage will be more appreciated
