Placed a catering order, for this past Sunday. Panni sandwiches were very dry, small fruit tarts, came spilled all over the box. Unfortunately, my husband picked up order, and was in a rush, otherwise, I would have brought them to the manager right then and there. I figured, since this shoprite was totally renovated, they would be more on their game. I will never place another catering order from there again. By the way, my guests really were dissatisfied with the sandwiches as well

Horrible. 12 check out lanes and only 2 open before a snow storm. Stood in line for half an hour. Self check was just as bad. Cashiers pulled people out of order in lines to be rung up. An absolute disaster. Find another Shoprite!!!

This store definitely needs a overhaul redesign, it's look old & dingy. When you enter store its very confusing ,not appealing at all. The produce area has limited choices. The bakery is terrible , hardly any choices. The workers are confusedSome of the workers are not happy. I'm assuming poor management.

I purchased an Australian flank steak today for a recipe. I needed it a little larger then what was out so Butcher offered to get one from back and was nice enough to butterfly it for me. I went right home and in only a couple of hours from buying this I started my dinner. I opened the packed and almost threw up, the smell was disgusting rotted meat!!! How did the butcher not smell this, and sell this to me. I went right back and handed this to the assistant manager, and I also made him smell it!!!! I did get a refund but the guy Also had the nerve to ask if I left it in car. No I did not and this is not the first time. I'm done. You guys are going to kill someone!!! Do better!!!

It’s been a while since a supermarket employee asked me if I needed help, then at the register another pleasant customer service experience. Surprisingly all really young employees. You guys just undermined all stereotypes of your generation. Great job!

Ive been shopping here twice weekly for the past 3 years. Today, I was approached by a self checkout attendant on my way out and was told that she had gotten paranoid and wanted to see my sales receipt. There were several others who walked right out around me and I have never seen anyone check any receipts at this store. I can only conclude that my physical profile triggered a discriminatory bias in this woman. I haven't been crazy about this store because I routinely find spoiled foods from there once I get home. Now that I know there is a subjective search of customers happening, I think ill find another store. Get it together ShopRite before you get sued by someone

This place has really gone downhill. I don’t mind if it is busy. I don’t mind waiting.However watching literally 3 people standing at the front of the store doing nothing but chatting while people wait on line for one person working a checkout.I worked terrible jobs like this but I took pride in my work. It is not everyone at all there were certainly people working hard. And I don’t blame these kids when the culture allows for it. Not everyone is a leader.The guy outside that got me a cart… seeing I was walking with a cane. He was awesome. As were the people I met at the deli. These people work hard and suffer as it reflects on the good work they do. They also have to pick up the slack.Having a leader around however would help everyone. These ever growing prices really can’t support 3 additional wages for each 1 working.Maybe pictures would be good next time.

Produce is in bad shape… no matter what I buy from there ends up being g returned …Bakery is terrible and the day time workers in thst dept are miserable!… deli ppl don’t know what they r doing… ( except Vincent ) you ask for a specific way to wrap your cheese … she looks at you like u have 10 heads and ends up doing it her way ( the easy way) I’m fed up w this store !

This place is the worst. Rotten vegetables (when there are any), never stocked, and the final straw is the rotten whole chicken i just had the misfortune of opening. The sell by date is a week AFTER today, and it now smells like 4 dead bodies are rotting in my house. NEVER going here again.

Prices keep going up up up! ShopRite used to be to get value for your money. Not anymore. Same prices as the higher class markets. Not enough attendants at the deli counter and deli prices are out of control. Not sure why ShopRite has given up on helping the people in the community. Instead they choose the corporate greed that all other retailers have. Very disappointed with this company.

Dirty store with low quality food. Catering to poor and working class hillbillies. Horrible produce. Deli is dirty and overpriced. Compare this to the Shoprite in Sparta? Just a bad place to shop. Bad food and bad atmosphere. You want to know why poor people are often overweight and get sick? Come to this store and see what they sell and people buy.

I have a different view of food stores than most people. I built and maintained them for 25 years. The Ramano family prides itself on how clean and well run their stores are. They are the cleanest stores in the Shop Rite chain. They do their best to keep them well stocked and up-to-date. Prices are up everywhere Shop Rites buying power keeps name brand prices down. They have a high turnover on products so everything is fresh. You might be able to find lower prices but not quality. Produce and meats are always fresh and the cases are clean. Most stores don't have the cleaning program that Renetco Shop Rites have and believe me that's important . Most food stores are amazingly filthy. Not this store or any of the Ramano's other stores.

Unapologetic management and rude customer service staff. Quick to accuse theft, but lo and behold, surprise, paid for all my items, not even an apology. Management should really check the attitude of their staff and also train on how to diffuse a situation. When you have several employees standing around the self checkout, but none of them seem to be observant enough to see that you paid for all your mechandise instead scanning one and leaving without paying, that's an issue. Will be finding a different grocery store to do my shopping. Shame since I was a regular several times a week.

This ShopRite sells disgusting fruit. At least seven to ten times we had to throw out Driscoll raspberries and the strawberries because after just 1 day they are “rotten” and moldy. We buy the fruit for our babies as that’s all they will eat, well just last night my baby puked up that fruit!!! You know god dam well you’re putting this rotten food out to the consumers to buy!!! Unless you’re completely inept and don’t know what mold looks like! And secondly why you selling “brown deli meat”? Are you people color blind? Get it together ShopRite. If your buyers can’t order healthy fresh food then you need to hire someone who can. Now I gotta go attend to my sick son. Thanks shoprite !!

This Shop Rite is very clean and the staff is extraordinary! Their cashiers are always very well-mannered and respectable which unfortunately isn't always the norm these days. The prices are competitive and in fact much lower than other grocery stores in the area. Shelves are well stocked and lines move quickly. Bring a quarter as it is required to unlock the cart but is returned to you when you return your cart (you can leave your cart anywhere you want, but you have to return it to the right place to get your quarter back). My only request is that they stock more "ethnic" foods.

I was appalled! I was on line at register 9 at 6pm on Monday May 29, 2023. The cashier’s name was Rob. There was some kind of confusion with the customer in front of me that was eventually resolved. When it came my turn at the register, Rob said to me “I hate to say it, but that what happens when you hire someone with special needs” I can’t understand that level of intolerance but to say it out loud to a customer when you are acting as the face of ShopRite was inexcusable.

According to a close friend of mine, there is a middle management conspiracy at this location that prevents "They/Them" from getting hired. They/Them accuses HR of posting phony jobs so that they can bring on their fellow Neocon,Reagan worshipping,Bergen County White-flight,Protestant,Rutgers alumni buddies instead of hiring qualifed persons from the local population. This practice is apparently widespread across Sussex County according to They/Them. This must be true as you never see a POC in any managerial position at Shoprite or anywhere else. If diversity is supposedly our greatest strength, how come this store is just inundated with white people? Is Shoprite truly an Equal Opportunity Employer? Ask yourself that question as Becky checks out your groceries.

They are very organized, very clean - even the restroom. The cashiers are pleasant & helpful & they have stocked this store very well esp with paper products, meat, HABA, & there are always clean shopping carts. Customer service is great too. I'm impressed by how quickly the checkout lines move. VERY ORGANIZED.

Easy access off of route 23. Next to Walmart in the shopping mall. Wide isles, good lighting. Great prices. My only complaint us that they charge you 25 cents for a grocery carriage which is locked up. Not the 25 cents that's a pain it's just that I don't carry any change and it takes me 20 minutes to get the change so I can get a carriage. Not a good move by ShopRite. They should want to get people in and out as fast as possible.

I really don't have any complaints about this store. Their stock is fresh and they have a wide selection of items. The people who work there are generally friendly and helpful. I appreciate the variety in their fresh bakery section. The bathroom is clean enough. Bring a quarter for the cart!

As always, Shoprite has a wider selection of various products than most stores. Supply chains here are more reliable too.The newer stores are as capaable of high end products and services as a Whole Foods store. Looking forward to new one in Sussex!

I shop here often, but they keep moving things!! Almost every time I visit, what I went for one day isn't there the next time I stop in AND they stoppped carrying certain cereals I like and added too many junk cereals. Sad that those sell so much better than healthier choices. Staff is always friendly, even when training new people. A little patience goes a long way in those situations, but remember, everyone is new at something at some point! Food is fresh in the produce department and prices are usually reasonable.

This place is so packed they never have more then 5 to maybe if that 7 cashier open lines are extremely long. They are in no hurry to get people out. I’m on disability having back surgery and need a carriage at all times almost every carriage there is something wrong with so if you do a big order it’s so hard to push I get at least 3 cases of water. I have such a hard time pushing it that if I didn’t have my daughter with me I would have to do 2 trips because I can’t push the carriage by myself oh and if you go the 1st of the month forget go home and come another day. I understand people who need help with food stamps but that’s when they should have every register open and they don’t so I try to stay away around that time. The isles need to be wider because if 1 person stops you can’t get around them. I’m not a impatient person but, to have to wait that long is so wrong. Nothing really bad to say about the deli and seafood area always nice and friendly. So if your going to the ShopRite in Franklin have some time even if you need a few things. And what I don’t understand is why they have up to 7 girls up in the front by the windows doing nothing just talking and joking around while the lines are getting longer. Just a little info for anyone who needs to use Franklin ShopRite!!!!!!! Someone needs to do something about this !!!!!!!! MANGER!!!!!!!!!

The employees seem competent and are helpful. They keep the store well stocked and clean. The only downside is the store's physical layout. It has taken over other business space and has a very strange floor plan. Produce feels like it's just stuck in an isle and the bakery department is just stuck on a wall. Other than that, it's a good store.
