I was just at Walgreens to pick up a .63 cent prescription. I went to the drive up windows,I was the only one I line, there were 4 people working the pharmacy. They kept saying they would help me soonAfter five minutes one of the women came to help me. The topping on the cake was I gave her .75 cents, I thought she put the change in my prescription bag. She didn't. It's not about the money. My guess is she could not count out change.

Set up appointment for a Covid-19 test. Received reminders in advance of the test. Arrived a few minutes early. Taken right in for the testing by Jeff, the lead pharmacist. Jeff explained the testing procedure and was personally doubly protected with mask and shield. Jeff provided insight on options to pursue should the results display positive. He was professional and thorough. Thought everything ran smoothly and results were in my inbox within the hour. One can't ask for better than that!

By far the WORST EXPERIENCE. I have rsv and the flu desperately needed my medication and this pharmacy declined my military benefits card and told me that it doesn’t count as an insurance card. 40% of America uses tricare however this pharmacy will not accept it for no reason. Had to get higher ups involved and this situation was still not handled appropriately. Do not go here

It’s impossible to get someone to talk with at this pharmacy. My doctor’s office called in a renewal for my prescription and I cannot get any information to even confirm that they have it.To be clear, the staff here is very friendly and helpful. There just aren’t enough of them. And the systems and software they have to work with are outdated and inefficient.

Title: Nightmare at Walgreens FlemingtonI recently had the misfortune of visiting the Walgreens in Flemington, and it was undoubtedly one of the worst experiences I've ever had with a pharmacy. To start, they handed me the wrong brand of medicine, a mistake that should be inexcusable for a pharmacy. When I brought this to their attention, expecting a quick resolution, I was met with a surprising lack of concern. Not only did they refuse to take back the incorrect medication, but the employees displayed an astonishing level of apathy towards their mistake. The attitude of the staff members was absolutely appalling. It was clear that customer satisfaction is not a priority for them. I felt like I was inconveniencing them by expecting them to rectify their own error. This kind of negligence and indifference is exactly why this Walgreens has earned its one-star rating. What's even more frustrating is the lack of alternative options in the convenient location of Flemington. It's disheartening to realize that there are no other pharmacies nearby, leaving customers with no choice but to endure the subpar service at this Walgreens. My advice to anyone considering using this pharmacy: beware. Check your medication right there in the store before leaving because, if you encounter an issue, the chances of them taking responsibility and providing a solution seem to be close to zero. Save yourself the frustration and potential health risks, and explore other options if possible. It's unfortunate that a place meant to provide essential healthcare services falls so short in basic customer service and competence.

Now I understand why this Walgreens has such a low rating. I've lived in Flemington for over 30 years, I just moved to Pennsylvania. I was in town visiting my mom and attempted to get a prescription filled here, that is out of stock in most pharmacies in the area. The doctor who prescribed the prescription is a New Jersey doctor. But because my address is in Pennsylvania the pharmacist told me I need to go "closer to where I live". He refused to fill it even though he had it in stock. It's not a state law, it was his opinion because he didn't want to fill a prescription for me. It makes no sense. If there was some kind of law or rule I would understand and there would be no reason for me to write this review or contact corporate. But because he just felt like I needed to go closer to where I live because that was his opinion is an absolute disgraceand waste of my time and I hope no one shops at this walgreens.

made latest Covid vaccination booster appointments on line 9/19/23 for myself and wife ...spent 20 minutes . I called pharmacy just to be told" oh, we are out of the new Covid vaccine. Don't know why system took appointment! We have to call and cancel 70 appointments!" Disgraceful! Booked appt at CVS! never Walgreens again!

If you need a prescription go anywhere else. I sat there for 50 minutes before finally getting $5 worth of medication. I listened to the blonde behind the counter be rude to her co-workers and say when referencing me then tell him to find a different pharmacy next time. So I will. Whoever that is should be fired. You can't be rude to the customer You just made wait for almost an hour.

I am baffled at the incredible unprofessional pharmacy staff at this Walgreens in Flemington. One would assume that working in an industry of healthcare you would find compassion and customer service at minimum. It is painful to accompany my husband every month to get his medications here. It is appalling. There is a very professional male there but when dealing with any of the female millennial staff you get the eye rolling, stiff lip and hostile attitude. One of them even used the f*** word during one visit as she got agitated that my husband insisted that he talked with a colleague earlier that had confirmed the medication order being ready. No manners, no training. I am appalled. Every month my poor husband has to brace against rude staff simply to get his needed medication. This is unacceptable. GET BETTER TRAINED, COMPETENT pharmacy staff. Better yet, train people to have basic human manners especially since they are in an industry dealing with people likely to have health issues coming for their medication. To offer a star was being generous in this review.

Only giving a one star because of the two very helpful employees not associated with the photo counter. I waited for 10 minutes at least to drop of a FedEx package that already had a label and was ready to go. After waiting forever, I set the package on the cart of outgoing packages to which a woman finally came over and VERY rudely said can I help you. I told her where the package was and that I had to go. As Im checking out for another item, I can her hear her badmouthing me to another employee and saying she was only OUTSIDE for a minute. Why are you outside during your shift? If only I had time, I would’ve asked to speak with the manager. I will be calling later to let them know about this woman's atrocious customer service. I do not recommend them at all. Send out packages from literally anywhere else.

The worst pharmacy in New Jersey. You will wait for hours even if you have an appointment. Terrible customer service, total chaos behind the counter. Avoid at all costs.

On Thursday 12/08/22 I visited Hunterdon urgent care center because of sever difficulty breathing. They sent a few steroids over to the pharmacy but did not put in an order for the nebulizar to use the medication. When I noticed this error I called the pharmacy at 12:05pm (I have the call records) to request the nebulizar. The woman who answered had a very bad attitude and told me the machine was added to my order and to pick it up at 2pm. When I get there after 2pm the original staff member is no longer on duty and the current pharmacist lets me know they don’t have a nebulizar ready for me and that there is no record of the request. Furious over the miscommunication I wait for the nebulizar only to get home AND IT DID NOT WORK. I had to drive all the way back for a replacement because apparently the tubing was faulty - which they were able to diagnose over the phone???? Please do not waste your time having your medications sent to this location. If you can, Walgreens in Clinton, NJ isn’t too far from here and the employees are much more competent

I ordered a prescription on the Walgreens app and received a confirmation it went through. I never got a notice it was ready, so I called. The woman on the phone in the pharmacy was rude, Condonasending, and abrupt. No one wanted to be treated like that, especially when not feeling well and needed a prescription. Deplorable customer service.

Rude and lazy pharmacy staff. Act holier than thou and think they know more than everyone. For instance, I was just told I wasn’t eligible for a booster vaccine and I most certainly was. Haha can you imagine? A pharmacy deliberately turning customers away who are trying to get vaccinated… what a joke. Take my advice and avoid this location at all costs.

I arrived to pick up my medication after being at the urgent care… associate at the pharmacy told me it would be an hour wait to get my medication. That is not what I was upset about because I do understand that the amount of prescriptions before mine is not within the associates control. I was not feeling well and I have a 30 minute drive home after waiting an hour in Walgreens and this was not what I wanted to do. I asked the associate if there might be another location closer to my home and she was very unhelpful … she simply said I don’t know … I asked her if she could look up where other Walgreens locations are in the area and she became visibly annoyed with me and my request. This is poor customer service… often times people are not feeling well when picking up prescriptions and the pharmacy associates should be more compassionate and willing to help people.

Had an absolutely horrible, embarrassing and frustrating experience here on 9/7/22. My sisters and I had made ahead of time 3 back to back appointments for the COVID Bivalent booster. The associate behind the pharmacy counter was acting a bit odd from the beginning telling us that the info we filled out online was not the updated version and we had to answer the questions for the boosters all over again, which was fine. As soon as she got to my first sister we answered there was no insurance and she replied that in that case she needed a NJ drivers license. I informed her my sisters did not have one but we had other ID. She said that even passports didn’t count, that since the government “doesn’t pay” for the vaccines anymore they needed insurance and if without insurance they specifically needed a NJ drivers license otherwise they could not do the boosters. So many things wrong with this statement… firstly, let’s consider the supposed ID requirement… legally, you cannot ask for one specific form of ID only… even KYC requirements under the Patriot act (although this is more applicable in the financial institution industry) includes CIP requirements for an ID but doesn’t limit the list of IDs to only one. It is natural that if someone does not drive they would not have an actual drivers license but they could have other forms of identification. The employee however shut down any other of ID but a NJDL. Very questionable on the legal aspect of that. Secondly, she lied because the funding for the vaccines is being thought to run out January of 2023 and there was no negative effect in September 2022… they should probably go to nj.gov to get a bit more informed on the misinformation they are spreading. In fact the associate admitted to having turned away many people for that same reason. I then offered to pay for the vaccine which she said they were not allowed to accept payment, which is true being that the government is paying for them…. I tried to understand where this was all coming from and although I had done my homework on this before going to the appointment I even began to doubt what I knew and needed to ask her more info for clarification. The associate then proceeded to go to the pharmacist and I heard her say I was a rude customer. Very ironic since she was being rude to us and was embarrassing us in front of the other clients as if we were criminals - so when the pharmacist came he was defensive off the bat. I explained to him that I was only trying to understand why they were refusing to give my sisters the booster, not letting us give other ID, not letting us pay… so I finally asked him since they’re refusing preventative treatment what were we supposed to do…? He said go to a state facility for the booster. I explained to him that when I had entered everyone’s info online for the appointments there was no disclosure for what they were telling us and I had already declared there was no insurance (something for which the other associate had earlier flat out told me that it was impossible I would have answered that online, basically indicating I was lying about it, which of course I wasn’t). I told them I had insurance and an NJDL and that my sisters lived with me, had IDs (just not NJDL) and simply had no insurance. Obviously this conversation was fruitless and so I asked them to cancel my appointment, since I was not willing to give Walgreens any money through my own insurance if they’re denying (illegally since there was no valid reason presented to us) preventative treatment to my sisters. I proceeded to call CVS, spoke with a pharmacist who told me they would be more than happy to accommodate us and who validated that according to the state of NJ all the info about insurance and ID that I knew was correct and my sisters would not be denied. Since then, we all got our boosters on CVS. I’ve never been discriminated against in this fashion before and I’ve never been put in such position and no less with something as important as a potentially life saving booster against Covid-19.

Horrible experience with their drive through pharmacy. Had an appointment for a Covid test and had already given them my insurance info when making the appt. Got there and was told they can only take a physical copy of my insurance card and asked to email it to an email they wrote down for me but told me I have to circle back through the drive through again and wait. After doing this and waiting a long time again when I got to the window a different lady at the pharmacy came to the window and spoke very aggressively about how they don’t have anything in their email. 1. They’re the ones who gave me the email address and then she has the audacity to speak to me as if I did something wrong. 2. Insurance info was already provided when making the appt so clearly they’re just incompetent and tried to shift the blame to me. The lady got very defensive without me even arguing with her and tried to make me feel as if I did something wrong which I did not appreciate. She said to come back in two hours with a printed copy of my insurance card but I didn’t bother after being spoken to disrespectfully for absolutely no reason. Better to take business elsewhere than this pharmacy as the staff are quite miserable and abrasive and incompetent.

This pharmacy is awful! The auto system for refills was not working properly today, so I called to talk to someone & refill my prescription. The first call I waited on hold fot 15 minutes! They kept picking up the phone, not saying anything & then putting me back on hold. The second time I called back & waiting for 21 minutes & again they kept picking up & putting the phone back on hold & then after 21 minutes, THEY HUNG UP!!!This is only one of the many issues that have happened with them! 🤮One of my prescription bottles was labeled with someone elses name & label for a totally different prescription than what was on the label. When I brought it back, they tore the label off & gave the bottle back to me, as if there was no problem at all!! 😳Two times in a row, I have called in my prescription refills through the auto system & then called to speak to staff & verify that prescriptions registered through auto system & that they would be ready for pick up. When at the pharmacy to pick them up, they said they were not called in! Then instead of preparing them, I was told to come back the next day! I told her I was out of one of my prescriptions & needed it today. She said it would be an hour! So when I went back to pick it up, I told her that this was not the first time this has happened & asked her to tell her manager that this was unacceptable & not the first time this has happened. Can you believe she just shurgged her shoulders & put her hands up., as if to say OH WELL!! Needless to say, I will be transferring my prescriptions to another pharmacy! No more chances! I have used this pharmacy for several years & it has become so awful!! Your complaints are not even taken seriously, so how could anything improve?

Pharmacy took it upon themselves to decide NOT to fill a prescription my doctor submitted even though it was approved by my insurance. So then I had my doctor send it to a different pharmacy, but they couldn't fill it because this Walgreens marked it as filled! I called and asked for them to cancel it but they didn't. The other pharmacy AND my insurance company called them, and during these calls, the pharmacist badmouthed me like I was the problem! The woman from the insurance company told me the pharmacist was "crazy" and YELLED at her! I finally went back to demand that they either fill the prescription or cancel it. That was when the pharmacist finally realized she had read the prescription wrong!!! She apologized and filled it immediately but still... Hours of my time wasted. One month later, even though I should have known better, I came here again to fill a prescription. I waited a half hour only to be told it wouldn't be ready until that evening (it was 10:30am!), so I left. Not even 5 minutes after I got home, I get a text saying my prescription is ready for pickup...

Took my four year old for a covid test so he can return to school as someone in his class tested positive and he was a close contact. Made an appointment and when we got there we were ignored for over 20 minutes at the drive-thru. Then it took another 10 minutes for them to get the test for us to administer to our son. When you schedule an appointment it says that results are usually received within 24 hours except on weekends. So knowing that I went on a Sunday, I did not expect my results in 24 hours. After 36 hours I called the pharmacy for an update because the lab still says it has not received the sample. They told me it will be anywhere from 2-5 days for the results. To say I am unhappy is an under statement. My son can not return to school without these results and had I know it would take that long I would have found somewhere else to go. They should really update their paperwork since it states "reports are typically available within 24 hours." NO WHERE does it say 2-5 days. So do yourself a favor and find somewhere else to get tested.

Worst pharmacy around. Maybe they're understaffed, but being placed on hold three times in a row is rude. Asking for a estimate gets and eyeroll and a huff. If you speak up the one woman jumps down your throat when asking a clarification. I requested a single prescription be sent elsewhere and they canceled all my prescriptions. They just leave you at the window and avoid looking at you. I treat people with respect and truly feel if you can't handle your job respectfully you should be where you don't deal with people. This review is a culmination of 10 years of bad experiences. I can get the same product quickly and for less cost at pretty much every other pharmacy, they are a headache and a half.

No pharmacist on duty when they are supposed to be open. No staff which is not their fault. Extremely expensive when you don't have insurance and use good rx. Always too busy. Needs more staff and nicer staff. There is one good one there, a tech, she needs a raise.

I have been using this pharmacy for 15 years. They have become more and more ignorant and very unhelpful. I have taken the same meds for 15 years and if there is a problem, THEY HANG UP ON ME. They don’t provide help, they don’t provide a back up solution, they just hang up. I’ve called corporate on them and they do nothing. I can’t comprehend being in this line of work and treating patients and customers this way. I wish the old pharmacist was there. I’m tired of feeling like I’m doing something wrong just by trying to pick up my prescribed medication.

Chronically unreliable regarding the filling of prescriptions. I receive emails indicating my prescription is ready for pickup and find that the prescription is not ready when I arrive to pick it up. They fill prescriptions without me requesting a prescription at times even though auto-fill is not activated. They have also tried to schedule the filling prescriptions on their preferred schedule without my authorization. Finally, they also try to use different batches of medication from different suppliers to fill a prescription on a number of occasions... not acceptable.

It’s not possible to give zero stars otherwise I would. We had an 11:00am appointment for my 2 children for flu shots, no other customers here but still waiting at 11:45…… had to remind them we are waiting and not just sitting in the chairs hanging out lol I’m concerned now that an incompetent staff such as this should be vaccinating my children!! I would not recommend Walgreens Flemington at all! CVS here we come!! Horrible!

Communicating with the pharmacy is non-existent. Called, put on hold 35 minutes, hung up on twice. Finally stayed on hold, drove there to witness no one answering the phone I was holding. Lousy customer service, pharmacists had their heads in the sand. Hire more. Hire better!

We received two covid tests here through the drive through, they were friendly and efficient and we had our results within a day. When I had to get a prescription filled inside it seemed a bit understaffed and chaotic. I would probably not choose to go here.

Always a line. Not enough people working in the pharmacy and they don’t care to let you wait. Refill take 3 hours?!? Really!! I only go there because my other pharmacy closed. Terrible service. When doctor sends in the prescription order they always say “it came in at separate times”. No it did. They were put in together. Just admit you overlook it.
