My family had the best experience at the Easter egg hunt this weekend—all thanks to Renee (owner) and the wonderful people who work there, especially Johnny.I lost a sentimental ring on the hayride coming back from the egg field and everyone searched high and low for it… and Johnny found it! We had already given up and got the phone call with good news from Renee after we returned home. All to say… everyone went above and beyond, and we are so grateful. And my son had a terrific time on the wagon ride and hunting for eggs. We will definitely be back for the other seasonal events!

I have visited these farms on behalf of my son’s preschool Pumpkin 🎃 Patch for Halloween in October. Being the first time farms visitor here I enjoyed a lot along with kids. The tractor ride was very exciting, they made us look around the farms and they have decorated few places with Halloween themes made from trash (like nuts, rods, bolts, hay, old clothes etc). The tractor was stopped at one location where the grassland is filled with pumpkins 🎃 (not plants). We went and picked one each for a kid 👦 who were so excited and screaming. They rode us back to the place we started and we went to farm animals like goats, ducks, hens, pigs, cows etc. We can feed all the animals with the food provided there. There is a small farm shop to buy and Farm Maze made of hay. Overall we had a good time there. As we went on weekday the food trucks were closed.

We love Scaefaer Farms. We come throughout the year to see the animals and get snacks.

There are a lot of areas for activities, live band playing, corn maze, corn cannon, animal feeding, horse ride and foot trucks when we visited. Staffs are very organized with parking directions and the whole place felt like a family friendly theme park. Recommanded.

So much fun. Lots to do. Went for pumpkin picking, went through the corn maze and on a hay ride. We saw the animals and listened to live music. There were food trucks! One of the best days ever!!

Disappointed. Was there on 10/15 with our 6 year old. $30 for my husband and I to get in. Paid over $20 for a pumpkin that began to rot just a few days after carving it. Maybe next time if you're going to charge that much for admission, consider giving people some type of coupon or voucher if they're buying a pumpkin and it's more than a certain weight. Don't think we'll be returning.

I've been a few times to the petting zoo and for produce, which is always great. Today I went to an event with live bands, a brewery and food trucks, it was fantastic.

It was pretty good, the actors did a good job. I think "IF" they could some how make a night just for teens that would be great (MY OPINION!!!!!) because we went last night and that's pretty much all that was there and they ruined some of the fun for the rest of the people. By the second dropoff to the corn maze we finally got away from themBut obviously you can't help inconsiderate teens

Went for years but they got greedy. 15 a person for the distinct pleasure to park my truck. Used to be free! You all must be rich for leaving 5 star reviews anyone hiring ?

Can’t say anything negative about this place. My grandparents always took me here when I was a kid, 20+ years later I am taking my daughter here. Animals are very happy, friendly and well taken care of. Friendly staff every time I go! Wanted to mention, when I was there yesterday I was by the barn because there was a cat in there I was talking to (yes I am a crazy cat lady) and heard something fall, it was a bees nest! We ,had to run from the swarm of bees. I worry becauseI don’t want any visitors, staff or animals get stung. (That may sound silly as they’re animals, they’re outside) but I’ve experienced a bee sting with my own cat once and it didn’t go well. But with that being said, I have nothing bad to say about this place. It’s nice and quiet and a weekday which makes it very therapeutic seeing the friendly animals always makes my day when I go!

I am very disappointed about our fall visit to this farm. We paid $15 cash pp (or $18 if you use a cc) upon entrance to the parking lot and were attacked by yellow jacket bees almost everywhere! especially in the picnic area. Our 3 girls were freaking out. We were not able to sit for eating because bees would come right at you. We had to stand in the sun to eat the pizza and chicken fingers we bought (cash only, by the way) and swat bees off of our children as they ate. My friend got stung by one of the bees. Thank goodness she is not allergic. When we went to the cashier to inform them about the situation, the staff member we talked to said she was going to call her manager. She disappeared for 20 min and came back with no manager. Another staff member said, "They have been having this issue for a long time." This is unacceptable. There are companies out there whose work is to get rid of this type of (dangerous) bee. This is something that needs to be addressed ASAP before an allergic person gets stung.

Did the Farm of Horrors tonight and it was amazing!!! The actors/actresses and experiences were great even in the light rain we experienced. It was a 4 attractions for the price and the overall themes were great. What I loved the most were the actors and actresses were so understanding that even though they were there to scare the life out of us. They made sure to take care of a few kids that just couldn't handle the experience. That truly shows character and just love for us customers because if that were my kid I would appreciate it if they stopped to ensure we were good. Schaefer you will be seeing us next year for sure!!!! Thank you again!

I’ve been to this farm since I was a little girl. And it never disappointed me until now. My family and I are very upset at the fact that the pumpkins weren’t even grown there and just thrown and scattered all over the ground making it seem like it was farmed there. They were cut already and there was no sign of it being grown there. 😾 if I wanted a pumpkin already picked, then I would have gone to Walmart for it instead

This place has the most adorable little petting zoo. I've been here many times with my three year old. He loves feeding the animals and picking out a piece of fruit afterwards. Staff is welcoming.

I’ve come here with family for the last 8 years and after this year we’ve had enough. Each year they charge more and have less to offer. They have the audacity now to charge $12 per person to just walk onto their farm. You can’t even go to the store anymore without paying admission. The grounds are falling apart and it’s lost all its charm. I did a quick count of the people around me and they had in one afternoon over 10k in admission fees, and they still overcharge you for the pumpkins, and the only “activity” they have included besides the hayride (to pick a pumpkin you need to pay for) is a very small maze and a few animals. They never invest and make the grounds better. There are numerous other farms that are free to go to and have activities for kids for free or very nominal fees. It’s become pretty obvious Schaefer’s has turn into a churn as many people possible type of place. They advertise everywhere, so people come, and boy is it disappointing. Avoid this place, there’s better elsewhere.

My son got engaged 💍 in the haunted area this past weekend with the help of the owner & staff. What amazing people! Made this event very memorable for all of us! Such a fun family owned farm! ❤️

We went to The Farm of Horrors on Saturday, October 22nd at around 9PM. The wait was LONG almost 90 minutes. BUT IT WAS WORTH IT. I told my sister " We just experienced an interactive horror movie!" It was so fun. Chainsaws, fog, actors, being chased by zombies, a corn maze hayride with a scary monster truck chase and so much more. Everytime I thought it was over, it wasn't. I couldn't recommend this enough. Way better than a haunted house.

Brought a friend from another country to experience a typical autumn weekend day. This place was embarrassing. Decrepit and falling apart. Not kept up with maintenance and buildings. The animals had no water and the pigs pen was rotten and foul. I get that animals are animals, but other locations take pride in keeping a clean “petting zoo”. If you’re making money from your haunted tours during the autumn, clean the place up…

This was my first time coming to Schaefer Farms and it will be my last. My heart broke when I saw the farm animals living in such poor conditions. I understand they are rescues, but living in their own filth with unclean water and run down pens is deplorable. The stench from the pens was so awful, I couldn't feed the pigs for long and the smell drifted towards the corn cannon (which no one was manning). With the high price of admissions, please clean up the place!

Schaefer Farms went above and beyond all my expectations for the farm of horrors! They put on a great show and even helped me set up a huge proposal to my now fiance! Couldn't be happier with them and I wish them all the best! Thankyou so so much for everything you did for me. Can't wait to go back there!

Took my daughter to the fright night, and it was GREAT!!! She is 13 and was freaking out! The monsters pegged her for being afraid and did a terrific job keeping her screaming, jumping and running the whole time! As a parent, it was awesome! I laughed and got scared a few times myself! Great place to bring the kids and the staff were professional, courteous, kind and scary all in one! Definitely recommend this for a fun and scary Halloween adventure! Be prepared to walk and dress for the weather, but always be on guard...you never know what lurks around the corner or behind every turn! Will definitely be coming back next season!
