I just brought my Raleigh bike in for a tune up with a shifting issue in the rear derailleur. They took the time…tested and resolved the shifting issues I had been experiencing since I purchased the bike direct from Raleigh. I can’t thank them enough for finally resolving this and they are now my official bike shop! Good thing my in-laws live nearby!

My husband and I have been going to Pete's for quite a few years now for bikes, tune-up's, fixes, and accessories. We don't just go there for the fantastic service, but for the great people that work there. We love that it is a family-owned operation, run by people that are kind, passionate about what they do, and have decades of experience. They have never disappointed us. Just recently, I bought my first road bike for competitive triathlons. Although it was a busy day for the shoppe, the owner gave us his undivided attention to find the best bike for my needs and in my price range. The bike rides and fits perfectly...especially for those longer clips, and I couldn't be happier with my purchase.

I recently purchased a new mountain bike at Pete's. Not only did they take the time with me to go over the options within my price range, the staff took the time to explain the differences.I have been riding my new Raleigh for a month now and LOVE it. No problems. Highly recommend Pete's :)

Over the past twenty-odd years we have purchased eight bikes from Pete's, and it is the only store I will let service them. The dual sports and hybrids we have purchased are of better quality than the chain stores so they require less repairs. Plus, they pass the test of time well, and as the boys outgrew theirs we found the resale values to be very good. And even though my Italian racing frame didn't come from Pete's, it is the only store I will trust for servicing and upgrades.

I recently purchased a Trek Dual Sport bike from Pete's Bike & Fitness. I was very pleased with the personal attention I received from the staff throughout the entire process. The store had a number of makes and models available, and I was not sure which one to get. The sales staff patiently explained the various features of each model so I could choose the one that was right for me. The service department made several adjustments that improved the fit of the bike, and I now ride comfortably on trails and towpath. Thank you PBFS!

I am 10 and I ride my bike daily with my friends. My disk brakes wore down over time. We went to a few repair shops and the wait time was ridiculous. When we found Pete’s we called them and they said “Come in and we can look at it.” We went they took the bike in and within minutes the bike was fixed. I only cost us 12 DOLLARS, when the other repair shops said $25 to $35. This place was amazing and we plan to use them again.

What a great shop. Big thanks to Joe for the help. I drove out to Pete’s bike shop in Flemington today, after explaining the horrible experience I had with this train wreck of a bike shop called Pop’s in Bound Brook. To no surprise they knew exactly what shop it was and how bad the service is that Pop’s is so well known for. I left my bike with Pop’s for 9 days to have it serviced and it was never touched, then told it was a 3 & 1/2 week wait on service. Amazing Pete’s Bike Shop took my bike that morning, and I had it back by 2pm the same day. Talk about service! Oh yeah and it only cost me $11 plus the gas to drive out to Flemington from Somerville. Pete’s Bike Shop for the win!

Best bike shop around. Went in this morning and found out they have been in Flemington for 80 years! Every time I go in they make me feel welcome and treat me like family. Service is fast and precise, and employees really know their stuff. Great small family owned business. Wont ever go anywhere else but Pete’s.

It was a pleasure to buy my bike from them. You see more passion than salesmanship. I did not know want bike I need and they took the time to figure it out. Finally I left with the perfect bike for me, only the color could be better :-) (even though the color seems improved since my purchase!).I will gladly return for maintenance and other bike needs.

This was the only shop which had tires for my sons 20inch bicycle wheel(Covid times). They replaced it in a day, charged normal and did a good job. Would definitely go back later to buy bikes from them.

Not happy with the customer service. I went there with my own part and they refused to install it and insisted on buying the part from their own shop. They gave silly excuses saying that the part was no good when infact the part was brand new. You can smell greed when they insist to buy the part from their store and offer excuses if you go their with your own custom part. I took my business to another bike shop just a few blocks from that place and they readily installed it for me without any hassles. I will not recommend this place to anyone.

I really wanted to have a great experience at this local bike shop. I called to have tire tubes replaced on a running stroller, they told me to bring it in. After 1 day I received a call that it was ready. Upon bringing the stroller home I realized that the front brake was not working. I returned to the store and explained to the older guy at the counter that the brake is not working, (since i'm 38 weeks pregnant its not easy for me to see what is wrong), I got a quick response, "We don't fix stroller brakes". I explained again that it was working when I brought it in,but i'm not able to see why it is no longer working. He finally looked at it to find out that when they removed the front tire to change the tube, they didn't reconnect the brake quick release... I was really disappointed to have to return to the store for this reason... I hope they will not forget to reconnect this on kids bikes, hmmm the brakes will not work - just a word of caution to you all..

This is a pretty decent bike store but i bought my son a 350$ Redline Bicycle and apparently Pete the bike salesman told him he could do jumpy tricks off of ramps with it and he hit his head and had to goto the hospital. The bike still works pretty well except for a few scrotches in the paint from the ramp fiasco. We make Andrew wear a helmet whenever he wants to do freestyle bike tricks.

Took my bike in to get the brakes checked. I was riding it home and the wheel was shaking, turns out they didn't even tighten the nuts. Very poor customer service overall, except for one nice lady, she seems to be the only one.

This bike shop is good I don’t want to be a hater but I just bought a new redline that cost around 350$ and the guy told me I could jump ramps so I did and it flew me off and I cracked my head and was in a wheel chair for six months thanks a lot Pete
