We drove an hour to go to Sea Level Aquarium just to see what’s up! We’re in morris county so not too many LFS around here for reefers. This shop is awesome!! I understand it’s new and he’s just stocking so I can’t wait to come back. This store and tanks are CLEAN!! I love to see a clean aquarium store!! The collection although small was NICE!! we came away with 5 frags and some snails. Great prices and the owner (I didn’t catch your name!!) is really knowledgeable with the coral he sells. Super impressed!! You absolutely should know what you sell, trade, and deal with. I’m excited to come back and see what else you have!! My wife REALLY wants one of those bright orange mushrooms so when it spawns we’ll be there!!

Wow I am so impressed with this store. They have moved to a new location and really upped their game. The tanks look great, coral selection is fantastic and their prices are good. Good selection of dry goods and fish food. I talked with the owner for a little bit and he's a cool guy with great customer service. I have 3 reef tanks totalling 370 gallons so I will absolutely be back. I don't have freshwater tanks anymore but I did walk their fish and plant selection on that side of the store just out of curiosity and it's also excellent.

We have had Randy from First Choice Aquatics do a spring clean up of our pond for the past few years and can't say enough good things about him. He is professional and friendly, lets us know when to expect him, shows up on time, and works hard to get the job done. Randy is knowledgeable about ponds and everything involved with maintaining one and can even design and install new ones. I had Randy at First Choice move my aquarium after we moved to the area. Long story short, while I was away on vacation prior to the move, my set up lost power and I lost everything in my reef. I had to drain the water and start all over. I basically wanted to throw it all out, but figured I’d give it one last try. Randy did a complete rehaul, and cleanup of my system to got me up and running. The pictures speak for themselves (before and after). I will update once the water clears and the the tank is restocked. They were very clean, professional and the customer service was exceptional. I highly recommend.

It’s simple, check out this store. Randy has tons of inventory, runs a specials weekly, and to top it all of, he’s incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about what he does. He’s helped setup, stock and maintain my 64g reef tank, and it’s beautifully done. This is absolutely the place to go around Hunterdon County for marine/aquatic supplies!

Visited First Choice Aquatics for the first time a week ago in search of some Pearl Gouramis. I was immediately greeted by Randy who told me that he didn’t currently have any, but took my name and phone number and said that he would try to order them for me.Based on experiences at other stores, I figured I would never hear from him. Well, today I got a call from Randy telling me that he had received the fish and I could stop by and pick them up. Love salt water tanks and all the sea life! Went to FirstChoice Aquatics and was amazed and excited to see all the choices to start my adventure of setting up a saltwater fish tank. I met Randy who was incredibly helpful and excited to get me started. So my adventure began and continues. Randy provided assistance in setting up the tank, keeping it clean and with selecting the marine life. He explained everything! I love my tank and spend hours enjoying my critters. Randy has taken care of a few jobs involving my outdoor pond and has done a wonderful job! At one point, the pump broke and Randy was able to get me a new one that was reasonably priced and was quick to install it. He winterized, covered the pond and just reopened and cleaned it for the spring. He is efficient and helpful in all aspects of keeping my outdoor pond oasis looking beautiful and working properly! I highly recommend his services!

Very nice clean shop with a great selection and impressive overall setup. The 2000 gallon ray/shark tank in the center is awesome. The service was quick and friendly. Prices seem good too.The goby I got is doing great and the copepods were all alive and very active, so the bottle was clearly very fresh and correctly handled.This is by far the nicest place I have been to for fish/corals. I will definitely be visiting again next time I need anything for my tank. Well worth a visit if you have an aquarium or plan to set one up.

I have maintained my 280 gallon tank for years, but as our kids got older, I got stretched too thin and the condition of my reef tank started to decline. First Choice Aquatics to the rescue. This is BY FAR the best fish store I have ever been to. Randy, the store owner, is knowledgeable and passionate about the fish that he has. He is also incredibly friendly and helpful. I am a new fish owner, and he took the time to explain everything that I needed. The tanks at the store are IMMACULATE, and the fish seem super happy and not stressed. You can tell he puts a lot of effort into his store. I also adore the touch tank that he has set up with all of the eels and sharks. Why go to an aquarium when you can just stop by FirstChoice aquatics to see unique fish, sharks, and eels? I will 100% be going again when I get my tank set up. I HIGHLY recommend! Best fish store in the area!!!!!
