We're actually in CT but found them online and have been so happy - the whole team is amazing and Joanie is always available to help us with our orders if we need anything, and their loyalty program is fantastic. They really value their customers and their fur babies - our 3 German Shepherds are so happy we found The Hungry Puppy!

Love visiting the store and dog park for Friday Night Bites for dogs and dog owners socializing with snacks and drinks. The dog park is small, but my dog Leah loves it there. The store stocks a lot of specialty food selections as well as a very large variety of bones, treats, toys and other pet supplies. There's also a mobile vet on site. Firstly, The Hungry Puppy is an excellent pet store that carries a variety of food, treats, and toys. My dog loves the collagen chews here and I haven't been able to find ones like these at any other pet store. The staff is warm, welcoming, knowledgeable, and really loves the animals that visit. Secondly, I am so glad that THP has an outdoor facility to host parties. We held my dog's first birthday party here with friends and family. The space was exactly what we were looking for. My dog had so much fun running around and playing in the park area while our guests were able to mingle and enjoy lunch. Melinda, Joanie, and Liz were wonderful to work with and, even though it rained, they went above and beyond to make our party a wonderful experience. Melinda was very helpful with answering all of my questions when planning the event to give us exactly what we wanted. We want to say a huge thanks to THP staff and will be back to visit for more collagen chews and goodies!

This place never fails. Amazing stock of healthy and natural dogs snacks. We especially love the pig ears, chicken feet and antlers.

This is a small store that packs A LOT of items. There's so many options for food, treats, clothing, toys, bedding, and just about anything else you need. They have a BYOB yappy hour on Fridays, plenty of parking, and the staff is super helpful and friendly.

The entire staff is great. If what I need is not in stock (rarely) they can order it and I get it in a couple of days. Great activities and photo ops for dogs. My dogs love shopping there.

Best pet store around! Everyone is always so friendly and helpful. We have been going here for years and have always felt very well taken care of. They even special order our food for us now after we decided to switch to a brand that wasn’t stocked in store. We made the mistake of temporarily switching to another pet store once for driving conveniences and we won’t make that again. This place is by far our favorite!

I wish I could say I loved this local place, I really tried to. They have a great selection of dog food and are one of few spots that carry all my dogs’ food in one store.The problem is they consistently forget to discount their in-store coupons at check out. I’ve walked out multiple times after my purchases only to look at my receipt later in disappointment at missing discounts.At that rate their prices, which when discounted are comparable to other stores, become much more expensive than petsmart/amazon. Unfortunately for them other pet stores, that don’t make these errors, are closer to my house.

I moved out of NJ a number of years ago but still make a point of stopping at the Hungry Puppy when I go back to visit..There's really no other place like it.Living in VT now. Thought it would be easy to find a similar store...nopeThe selection is great...especially dog treats. And the staff is always friendly and helpful especially the manager MelindaWish I could get there more often

This was our first time here. It was a wonderful experience! Very helpful staff as well. I did not feel over attended nor under attended. We left with a beautiful dog bed for our Great Dane : Duchess: and some bones! Can't wait to go back!

Such an amazing place!! Staff is so friendly and helpful! Our dog has a sensitive stomach and needs prescription dog food. The Hungry Puppy offers a free bag of food for every 5 bags you buy of prescription food, and I was so surprised the first time they told me that I was buying my fifth bag so I could get one free! Dog food in general is not cheap, but the prescription food is very expensive, so I am so grateful to them for this! A free bag for every 5 bags comes along QUICK! I believe they also offer a free bag of regular dog food after every 12 bags.I recently stopped in and got to talking to one of the staff members Caitlin about our dog, and she recommended the owner of the store, Teresa, as a dog trainer. Teresa returned my message quickly, and was so kind to speak with over the phone about what we are looking for as far as training goes for our dog. I love that her methods are not “treat-driven” and I am really looking forward to working with her soon!
