Amazing staff that really cares about your dog. The facility is beautiful and spotless. My dog never comes home smelling like other dogs. I have complete peace of mind when I leave them in their care. Availability has not been an issue since the renovation which has been a lifesaver in a pinch.

K9 Resorts is not only an exceptional facility to care for dogs, the staff and leadership truly care about the wellbeing and care of our beloved pets and we humans. Lily, my 4 year old Portuguese Water Dog is my second dog and Portie, but my first rescue. She is not sure of her new world yet, but the staff at K9 took exceptional care of both us as we tried on daycare. As it turned out, Lily is going to need much more time to adjust to her new life and we’re going to have take a break from daycare. But when she’s more secure and confident, we’ll be back. Thank you, K9 for taking such good care of both Lily and me. Everyone was wonderful and understanding and helpful. And a special shout out to David for helping handle Lily when she was most excited. Again, thank you K9!!

Archie loves going to “school” at K9! He gets so excited when he hears the word. It’s a relief to know he is well taken care of when we can’t be with him. When we board him, he gets a nice bath and smells so fresh when we pick him up. K9 is always receptive to our requests and they respond quickly to our check-in phone calls. The staff is very friendly and they clearly love their job. It’s hard to hand over a part of the family to a caretaker but K9 makes it easier.

We were surprised today with the best picture of our big boy, Turner. We have been sending him to K9 Resorts for the last 5 years and we couldn’t be happier. Now both our boys are there twice a year for vacations and our Cooper gets to go for play dates some days too. Our boys are SO EXCITED when we pull into K9 Resorts. The staff is wonderful. They are equally as excited to see the boys. We could not rave about K9 Resorts more. We wouldn’t dream of sending our dogs anywhere else. They come home happy tired and clean. This is the best Pup Hotel in town!

The girls love going on vacation to their spa resort. They are greeted the moment they come through the door, and often almost forget to say goodbye before they are whisked away to play. The team does a great job with our husky's special diet and other quirks :) And the girls always come home smelling great. We are loyal customers of about 10 years.

We've been taking them periodically for both daycare and boarding over the last 8 years, and as soon as we pull into the driveway, they wag their tails with excitement. There are few people I will leave my dogs with, let alone leave them at a (shudder) boarding facility. I have 2 dogs - a mischievous, yet playful Husky (Scout) and a Goldendoodle (Fozzie) who is scared of his own shadow. I admit, I coddled Fozzie for too long. When he was 2 years old, I had no choice but to leave him at a boarding facility. After asking for recommendations and reading up on places online, it was abundantly clear that K-9 Pet Resorts in Fanwood was the cream of the crop. I called and spoke with Brian Remo, their general director. He put me at ease and assured me my dogs would be in great hands. He was able to quickly accommodate a last-minute evaluation.When I first took my dogs in for their evaluation, Fozzie became a pancake on the floor and refused to walk in. The K-9 staff gently coaxed him in while I was able to sneak away (it was like dropping my human kids off at daycare for the 1st time all over again). When I picked Fozzie and Scout up at the end of that day, they were incredibly happy. It was obvious they showed my pups a lot of love.Even so, I was dreading dropping him off on the day we had to board him overnight. I made my husband drop the dogs off to K-9 because I couldn't go on my family vacation with the image of Fozzie's sad face and whimpering in my mind. After my husband dropped them off, he came home and said he was shocked about how excited BOTH dogs were to return there. He also commented about never seeing such a high-end facility for dogs in his life. I think he was a little jealous....I can't blame him. The place is stunning.Throughout my trip, I received calls from staff members and text messages from Brian Remo with wonderful updates and photos. The staff there is clearly well-trained. These aren't just a bunch of young kids letting dogs run wild. They are very knowledgeable. They understand the body language, temperament, and needs of each dog - like they're all dog whisperers or something.I'll be going away for Spring Break with my family and leaving the pups at K-9 again. When I ran into a booking issue, Brian Remo (the general director) came to the rescue and was so helpful, kind, and accommodating. I'm so grateful to him and the crew at K-9.

We have been coming to K9 forever and wouldn’t send our dogs anywhere else. They walk in with wagging tails and excitement every time, so you know they love it! I don’t know where to begin with how much I appreciate what K9 Resorts Fanwood does for me and my dog Charlie. I have been bringing my dog here for years now and every time I leave him I have incredible confidence that he will be taken care of and that everything will go smoothly. Which isn’t always the case with my dog because he isn’t always the easiest to work with. I do not see myself using any other service anytime soon and will always trust K9 resorts with my dog. Great experience with K9 Resorts, Fanwood. The facility is clean, the staff is very welcoming, and Miller gets so excited when we are heading towards drop off. We started taking him to daycare in preparation for our wedding. On Saturday while my husband and I were getting ready to do our first look we received these photos of our furbaby. We wanted him to be apart of our day and K9 resort did that. While we missed him we didn’t worry at all. Highly recommend K9 resort for boarding.

My girl, Kaia, stayed over for a weekend while I was gone. She absolutely LOVED her stay at k9!!!! The staff was extremely friendly with her as she was anxious because i’ve never boarded her before. Even through the little trouble she gave some of the staff, they did so amazing in making sure she was well taken care of, getting her meds, and having a good time. Truly recommend bringing your pups over to k9 in Fanwood!!

Love K9! Leaps and bounds better than their counterparts! The facilities are impeccably clean (not to mention so luxurious). They love my dogs genuinely. My dogs run to greet the staff! They always keep you informed if your dogs act differently (ie if they are tired, got sick, etc). The bath services are lifesavers and keep us fur parents sane! As is I would stay with them forever. If they managed any of the below, I probably would give them my first born (but not my dogs):1) Live webcams so we can see our doggos playing (or at least more social media live reels, stories, etc). I'd love to see who my dogs play with etc...2) Longer hours (like a third shift until 10 pm for the dogs). Not so much for after hour pickups but it's the only thing that keeps me from boarding my dogs there overnight as they can't hold their potty needs from 7 pm to 7 am when the staff come back.3) Package discounts greater than 40 for us regulars!

My rescue Kanga has been going there for almost 3 years. I adopted her during Covid and she had separation anxiety when I went back to work so it was difficult to leave her home alone. When I enrolled her in K9, staff were very helpful in addressing my concerns and made her feel right at home. She LOVES going there and barely waits to get out of the car when we pull into the parking lot! Makes me so happy as a dog mom that my fur baby has a place away from home where she is well cared for. Staff have always been through and professional with any questions. Facility is immaculately clean and Kanga always comes home tired and happy!
