I brought these two Guinea pigs because I needed something to keep me mentally busy. Also, I have a history of owning a Guinea pig when I was 5. The black and white guinea is Oreo he never bit me and became my therapy animal whenever I feel upset. Cookie dough the black brown and white one became the supporter for Oreo, my partner and I. Both Guinea are living a comfortable happy life and most of all happy life and neither of them don’t bite. Time to bring my friends there!

I absolutely ADORE THIS PLACE!!! I can honestly say that I live 5 min walking from a Petco, But I take 2 busses there because of their entire operation. It feels like an old school pet shop, where you don't have to worry about sky high prices or puppy mills. The staff is awesome!!! Everyone is awesome. The shop kitties are the main reason I go the atmosphere is why I keep coming back. The people (and in this particular case, the animals are the best around and I wouldn't ship anywhere else for my animals. They are seriously very fairly priced and very knowledgeable about anything I've needed to know. Love em. I'm a customer for life! Xo

Great honest pet store I recommend it to anyone from beginners to experienced they have a bunch of options when it comes to animals, supplies, and accessories.I bought my savanna monitor, nile monitor, red tail boa from here and no issue with health or anything and this is why i give credits to this pet store they also have great customer satisfaction.

Whiteway Pet shop is great. They have tons of animals. I go there for their cricket special - 100 crickets any size for $7.

Whiteway Pet Shop in Elizabeth was issued a notice of 13 violations after a July inspection initiated by a citizen complaint, records show. The state Attorney General’s office — which oversees the Division of Consumer Affairs’ office of consumer protection — said the pet store failed to maintain vaccination records and health certificates for the six puppies it had for sale and failed to list the required breeder information on the cards attached to the puppies’ cages, among other violations.

HORRIBLE SERVICE. The birds r kept in cages like display, there's horrible perches in these cages, The macaw only had 1 toy in the cage witch was way to small for it, and the others only had a perch. Loads of dead fish here. I came here for a bird food holder, and the selection was very bad, the dust!! Never but from here, if your looking for a good bird store try Paterson Bird Store. They are 100% better

11 months ago I came to this petshop to buy my rabbit Rosita. She’s healthy, friendly with me, my family & Oreo (my other rabbit who passed away 2 weeks ago). My only problem is that when I asked one of the employees to give me a string to tie/get a grip on the box to hold Rosita, he says we don’t have that in the store. The funny part is that I can see the strings under the desk, but of course it wasn’t for free. I ended up going to Petland Discounts a few blocks down to ask for someone to give me a string or make a tape holder to carry Rosita all the way home.

I have been coming to White Way Pet Shop for over 20 years!!!! I absolutely love the staff. They are VERY helpful as well as knowledgeable when it comes the pets. I must have called about a thousand times inquiring about a puppy and every time I call the staff was more then willing to help me find what I was looking for. With that being said we purchase absolutely amazing puppy today and they gave me all the information in reference towards the shots , down to the dogs birthparents and everything. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! We will definitely be back with Chocolate!

Please do not, DO NOT purchase any pets from this establishment. It’s horrible, from the smell, to the dirty cages these Animals are placed in, to the way they handle these animals. I bought a Guinea pig from them that was clearly SICK and when I brought the Guinea pig back, the general manager was rude and tried to convince me that the Guinea pig had scabs and not mites… when he clearly had mites. I even confronted him about them having 6 Guinea pigs in a cage that’s not even 3 ft long, and he said they never put more than 3 housed in a cage, he’s clearly delusional because with my own two eyes I seen 6 Guinea pigs housed in a little cage. Also they mix boys and girl Guinea pigs together . Anyone who knows about Guinea pig know that even 2 Guinea pigs require a 10ft cage. They don’t even put hay in there for them. Please save yourself the time and energy and MONEY. I will be reporting this “pet shop” and hopefully they get shut down . These poor animals. Google needs to have a 0 star feature because this place doesn’t even deserve one star.

Amazing customer service and a nice variety of animals. A worker named Rachel assisted me with getting all the necessities for my leucistic southern pine snake. All the animals are very friendly and look very healthy. 10/10 would recommend.

I came to this place looking for a bunny and I fell Inlove with this black bunny . When I took her home she was sneezing nonstop and than took her to get her nails cut at this amazing pet shop and was told the bunny they sold me was sick with ammonia. I took the bunny back to this place and workers offered to pay for the vet or to trade for another bunny. I choosed to pick another bunny but still wanted another updated on the black bunny I had got so I can buy it again once she’s better. Turns out the black bunny passed away a hour after me confronting the owners she was sick . The place has crickets all over and is dirty. I wouldn’t recommend buying an animal from here . These animals need more care.

I love this place"" it's a pet shop, but they sell fishing equipment an bait also. The owner Bruce is very nice guy. I've been going here for over twenty years..they have tropical fish,, dogs. Cats, hamsters, an more.. so if your looking for a healthy pet or good fishing equipment at a great price come check this place out You'll be glad you did.

My new pet place for LIFE!! Andre, the head manager, took care of all of my pet's needs and answered every crazy question I asked him! ☺️ The entire staff is very knowledgeable and seemed like they actually cared, for real!! It's not close by for me but I would go out of my way for that experience again and again!! 👍👌😊🐦🐦🐦

This place is atrocious, I have no idea how anyone is giving this place any good reviews. The first time I ever dealt with them I called to see if they had a specific brand of cat food which I was told they did. When I had got there suddenly they didn’t have it and they kept telling me of all the other car foods I can buy. This brand of cat food was super high in protein and was recommended for my ferret. So not any old cat food or ferret food would of done. I had actually never went there until today when I needed to get a rat for my snake. When I had seen the dogs fromThe window outside I knew this place was bad. The one dog was covered in basically melted poop and he desperately needed a hair trim and to be clean. The reptiles are kept in way too small of cages and are sold for far too high of a price. The amount of flies in the place should just speak volumes. Birds are kept in five gallon fish tanks which is super bad for their health. There was also a cat sleeping on tanks of scorpions and spiders which is most likely super stressful for them. This place should be shut down.

12/21 Update: The 5 Tetras I bought here had a 0 success rate, all died while my entire 65 gal tank of tetras and other community species has lived on.The 3 more expensive potted aquatic plants i bought here have already dwindled away and died while the plants I've had and more recently bought in other stores are just fine. I do keep a well monitored very good home aquarium.Maybe some are satisfied here but i shan't be returning.11/23 I visited this store for my aquarium and their Fish looked ok but there is quite an overwhelming stench of pure amonia whoch made me feel ill. I am sure from animal urine soaked into their floors. After left it lingered in my head for many hours. It was just horrible and i won't be returning. It was the worst physical experience Ivever hadnin a pet shop. Prior, I was serously considering getting a dog here but have most certainly changed my mind. Though the stagg is goid here they must not respect the public they deal with by keeping a shop that way. They sell natures miracle products so why not use it themselves

At the beginning it was normal but very dirty and unorganized. There were roaming cats and no space for social distancing. When we got the puppy they told us to feed them twice a day (the vet later told us 3 times) they didn’t give us any info about her other than her birth and breed. And after a day we found our puppy had kennel cough from the other dogs. The only ups side was it was quick
