We took our Bichon, Jeffrey for his yearly physical. Dr. Moynahan was so good with our nervous pup. For the first time, he didn't cry when he got his shots! Of course, the treats might have helped, too! Everyone was just so kind and friendly! They also saw Jeffrey in January on an emergency basis when he chewed his tail badly after we lost our little Havanese, Fiona.In addition, we had Fiona groomed here. At almost 20 years old, she was very difficult to groom but Rebecca was able to make her look beautiful. We'll never forget everyone's kindness and sweet card they sent us after we lost Fiona. Highly recommended!

There’s a blonde older lady that works as a tech who really is as grouchy as she looks. Don’t bother asking her questions. Even if it’s 9am, she’ll make sure you know she hates being there.Just like the reviewer before me, my dog was muffled unjustifiably. He has no record of complaints, aggression, or incidents anywhere, and I asked them not to. But I heard that same grouchy lady say behind the closed door “you better muffle that dog.” And then up-charged us for the muffle. I could hear him whimpering.Also, a box of heart guard (12-month supply) is $224 here. Seriously, go someplace else (there are many in the Atlantic County) where they genuinely love what they do, will want to make sure you AND your dogs are taken care of, and will not charge you unreasonably. Crazy. Never returning.

Brought my cat there for some sores it had. They gave her an antibiotic shot and some prescription-strength anti-flea medicine. Everyone was great!

My dog was treated poorly here. He has never bit anyone or displayed aggression. But when I picked him up from boarding he had a red collar indicating he was dangerous. The staff was obvious in their distrust of him and came across as defensive. I do not recommend this clinic.

We switched to Shore Veterinarians in EHT when our long time vet couldn’t see my daughter’s Sheltie in 2020 due to covid-19 restrictions. Shore Veterinarians was closer and has convenient hours. Like yesterday, my daughter’s Sheltie puppy ate a large piece of felt. They were able to see her right away to induce vomiting for her to remove the fabric from her stomach before it caused a blockage. Staff are helpful and friendly.

Wonderful group. Although they are not our"home" vet... They made my pups and me at home. Cared for my pup, who's now well and out again in the yard and make him comfy. He got meds, shots and care for everything without a peep.Thanks for the great experience! ❣️🐕💉

Awful. I requested my cats records and will go elsewhere. This place will rob you blind. Took my cats in 3 weeks ago, got their vaccines spent almost $400.00. Get a phone call that they have to come back for their booster. Bring them in today for their booster. Get called inside to pay- which I didn’t know there was a fee. Thought booster was included with the vaccine- and I asked the sweet girl at the counter how much the boosters were so I could pay. She stated 42 dollars a piece. Ok. Perfect. She then gives me a total of $200+ and my mouth dropped open. I asked her why it was so much money and she said they had to do an exam. THEY WERE JUST THERE 3 WEEKS AGO. I felt so bad for the girl at the front because I was not nice. It was not her fault but I think this is a pure scam. I will NEVER recommend anyone to this place. . Shore vet is an absolute scam and takes full advantage of people who love their pets more than anything. I was quoted 900 dollars for my cat to get a dental cleaning!!!!!! I will NEVER RETURN to this place. Do your research. There are better vets out there who provide better care and for an affordable price. Awful awful awful. Do not go here.

I have been a patron of Shore Vets in the past with our dog Dexter. They came through for me with Dexter and now with our new addition Tiger Lily. I needed there assistance immediately and they came through I currently am using a vet closer to home but I will be changing back to Shore. Thanks fir being there for us

I've gone to the Seaville location for years. Excellent care. Had to write this because my cat just passed and these guys were very professional and very accommodating while I was a complete mess trying to keep it together. The staff is always friendly. I’ve seen drs Moynihan and Miller and they are the best. Check out their credentials on the web site. Dr. Miller is always compassionate, thorough, and helpful. I’ve gone to Shore Vets for at least 18 years.

My fiancé was having allergic reactions to my cat spraying so we brought him here to get neutered instead of his regular vet because it was sooner. At the physical they cut his nails, in my opinion uncomfortably short. He went back for his neuter less than a week later. When I dropped him off I specified I did not want his nails cut to save stress. He also has an extra claw in his paw he’s especially sensitive about. I went to pick him up and in a very peppy tone was told how they cut his nails “but there’s no charge” and they were able to “really get in there nice and low and dig everything out” for his extra claw. As I’m leaving they said to call with any concerns, but they already ignored my concerns. They also offered a collar at the physical and I said yes definitely, no collar at pick up. Decided to leave it because I just wanted to get away from that place. I’m not a fan of people who leave reviews but don’t complain to the place but I already didn’t feel heard so here I am

A very pleasant experience!Dr. Miller was so kind, caring and compassionate in dealing with my extremely frightened 15 yr. old cat. Dr. Miller was able to treat my cat's dental problems without anesthetizing my elder kitty.I couldn't be happier with my experience, and it was well worth the drive from Philly! I will be coming back!

Had a wonderful first experience here at Shore Vet. I originally took my cat to another vet who wanted to charge me nearly $3000 dollars to help my cat overnight to "regulate" him. I learned there that he was diabetic, and nothing else was done because I did not want to leave him there overnight for that kind of money, not everyone gets state funding the way some of these places do. I brought my cat here instead, and they gave me everything I needed to take care of my pet at home INCLUDING the insulin that my cat NEEDED if he truly was diabetic. The other vets also neglected to tell me that he also had Pancreatitis, which Shore Vet caught and also provided with everything for that, as well as at home care instructions. This is the best place I have ever brought my cat to and they worked with my budget and made it affordable. I hope they continue to do all of the great things they do for animals and animal parents alike. I will definitely be coming back if I need anything. Thank you Shore Vet because you saved my cat's life!

I’ve brought approximately 4 of my dogs to Shore Vet. over the years. After I felt that the Dr. who took care of my Shih Tzu, who had cardiac problems, was not compassionate it left a very bad taste in my mouth. However, because Shore Vet has many Vets I chose to stay with them for my current dog, and use another one of their Vets. After all, I had been with them for years, and I tend to be loyal to businesses I deal with, but will change if service issues continue. So when I would make an appointment I would make an appointment with a Vet other than the one that I had a bad experience with.I recently received correspondence for my current dog’s follow up appointment. So I scheduled the appointment for tomorrow, 8/18/22. At the time of scheduling I asked what Dr. I had for my dog’s last appointment and was given a Dr’s name so I scheduled with the same Dr. being, to my knowledge, the last Dr. I had was not the Dr. I had a bad experience with. This was confirmed today re: the last Dr. I had for my dog.Today the day before the appointment I get a call to cancel my appointment and the reason given was as per the Dr. After inquiring further, I was told that the Dr. was the one that I had the bad experience with and that the next appointment would be next week. When I expressed my dissatisfaction the lady on the phone seemed very matter of fact when I told her of possibly changing to somewhere else due to my dissatisfaction.At this point, I feel that I have given this Vet office the benefit and have been a loyal customer, but customers have a right to expect compassionate and good service. After all, pets become like family, which is what I believe I expressed to the Dr. who I felt did not express compassion re: my very sick Shih Tzu. After repeated difficulties, I was not left much choice, but to move on. In looking at some of the reviews, service seems to be a problem with this Vet office. Hopefully, they will heed the feedback and improve because people read reviews.

The Dr. that checked on my dog was friendly and seemed caring towards my pet. On the other hand , this other lady in the front desk that was asking information about my dog seemed very annoyed doing her job. The lady interviewing me about the prices and my dog seemed annoyed at every little thing and giggled when I asked questions. If you’re not happy where you’re working at then find another job. You’re suppose to feel like you can trust them when it comes to your pet.

Melissa, a vet tech at the Humane Society, and Shore Vet groomer, did an amazing grooming on out 14 yr. + old Pekingese who has pain and doesn't like to be touched. Somehow Melissa intuitively interpreted Gidget's needs and boundaries, and placed Gidget in her lap to clean and trim her fur and nails. My mom and I are so grateful, and so is Gidget!

I got my cat an appointment around Christmas time last minute! They came out to my car, got my cat and brought him back when he was done. They called my phone multiple times during the appointment to keep me updated. They are more expensive than a lot of other vets, but you get what you pay for! They genuinely love and care about each individual pet. Love this place❤

My dog has been going to this vet since we rescued him 5 years ago. He kennels there and we take him there regularly for his checkups and shots. Needless to say, a good amount of money has been spent over the years. He has skin issues which the doctor is well aware of because he goes every couple of times a year to get a shot to help relieve him from itching and biting himself raw. We called to see if we could run him in for what is usually a 10 minute time slot for this shot and all of the sudden the are unable to accommodate him because of “new rules” MONICA was very rude and very unhelpful on the phone. She wouldn’t give any reasoning behind these new rules and while I understand things change she offered no explication and no want to find out of the reasons behind the change which was what I asked her to do. There was no compassion shown for my dog who hasn’t slept in days because his skin is itchy. What is normally a nice and easy and pleasant experience was turned totally sideways by the inconsistency and lack of compassion by their rude employee. After asking her to pass on a message and call back with some sort of explanation she acted like it wasn’t her problem. Very very disappointing.

The staff at the Shore Veterinarian’s Egg Harbor Location were nothing short of phenomenal. From check-in to check-out, the staff were empathetic, thorough, and knowledgeable. A huge shout out goes to Amanda, the vet tech who assisted me. She was bubbly and an absolute joy to work with. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Called them on a late Saturday afternoon after my daughter's dog got bit on his nose by another dog. The staff member who answered was very nice and helpful. She explained that they were closed, but gave me the name, number and address of Linwood Animal Hospital, which would be open until midnight

I cannot say enough good things about this place. After a rough night with our beloved dog, they squeezed us in on a Sunday holiday weekend and gave great care to our old girl. Dr. D. listened and really supported us through some not great news. They also created a safe environment during the pandemic and gave options that met our comfort level. I would highly recommend their care.

10/29/21 - Update. Unfortunately having to change my review. Brought my cats in for flea treatment and deworm. I have completed the flea treatment but the deworm I was told the office gave my cats and charged me for never worked. When I emailed them about my concerns, I was told by some tech that their last fecal tested neg for worms. I'd really like to know how that is when we only ever gave one sample that was positive. And when I asked to be emailed back as I can't accept calls at work, I'm told my initial email was deleted. So anything at the office can be deleted on a whim according to what the nasty techs think is needed or relevant? Shouldn't records he kept until the issue is resolved? The staff here is garbage from the last time I experienced interaction with them. I don't want my animals going here especially when I'm not allowed to go back with them to even see what they're doing. Very suspicious.Very friendly staff. Affordable prices. Easy to make an appointment. Just the wait time is excessive. Sat in the lobby for over an hour before my pet was taken back for their vaccinations.
