This store is very clean, well organized, and stocked. The sales are great and they will even give you a rain check for the sale items if they are out. I went for a cake, plates, birthday card and candles for the cake. I found some great color flame candles. The cake tasted great. The bakery is nice amd they have a large selection of cake and pies as well as different brea4ds. I found everything I was looking for and got in and out quickly using the self checkouts. The parking lot is big and they even have little shopping carts for kids. They are so cute.

Cashier was very friendly and help me bag my purchases. He even put them in my cart and asked if I needed help with putting them in my car. I am am elderly woman n I really appreciate his concern and consideration.0

The worst shop rite ever! Even absecon is much better than this shop rite. They won't go out of their way to help out a consumer for nothing. I called to see if they could check to see if they had a certain product and all they could say is "the delis closed" i asked to see if the only decent manager there, William, could check for me and they said he wasn't working. I asked if another manager could check and the answer was no! Smh...this is the 3rd time I've dealt with these lazy workers and it'll be the last.

Vegetable & meat products are becoming poorer quality, while dairy products are always missing from the shelves. Product cost has gone up 1.50 to 2.50+more ......can anyone suggest a new place to grocery shop with good quality food?

This is our bakery experience, AMAZING! From start to finish the staff was friendly and accommodating. The cupcake cake was above anything I had expected! Thank you to the lady who took my order, shirt black hair, I can’t remember your name sorry, and christine who designed it! Bye bye sams club!

Updated Oct 30, 2023. They modified the parking spots. Before there were just handicap parking spots, which is great but now the added alot of order pickup parking stops, see the picture. Now you can't find a close parking spot this is ridiculous!NOTE: Lately some vegitable and fruits prices are outrageous. A couple of weeks ago one medium bake potato was 2.00 each. This Week Strawberries are 7.99 and blueberries are 9.99! From now on watch the price from week to week!Updated Mar 15, 2023. They got brand new mobility scooters! Works great and what I really like is the digital display indicating on how much they are charged. I also like the cart itself it is bigger, wider and a little taller for us older people. Thank you ShopRight!Updated Feb 11, 2023. Something is going on with the Bowl and Basket brand chicken. Two weeks ago I bought chicken legs and last week chicken thighs. Both tasted off, not bad but different. This week I tried organic chicken and I cooked the same chicken leg recipe that I have cooking for the last couple of years and it tasted normal. I don't thing it is ShopRight fault but the vendor must be doing something different with the chickens. For now no more Bowl and Basket Chicken for me!Okay a second thing 3 scooters were not working. ShopRight needs to get someone to monitor the health of these carts.Update July 20, 2022. Deleted mobility scooter problem. Not a problem as of 15-Mar-2023.I now go to the kiosk check out and do everything my self. The best part is the women who works the kiosk and helps people with problems is a great person. She has great customer relations skills and promptly helps customers if any problems arise. I am staying at the self check out only because of her.Store is excellent. Their is a lot to look at. The electric scooters are the best I have ever seen and used. Fruit and vegetables are fresh.The only problem this time is when I went into the handicap checkout lane and gave cashier my bags to place food in. See did not bag any of my groceries. She stood their and watch me pack everything into my bags. The only thing she packed was the meat in a plastic bag.If you are going to working the handicap checkout you should be will to help people who might have physical problems bag their food.

My mom and i always there every week and always used the self check out bc its convenient. They changed it to 20 items only. We felt like criminals today the way they came at us. My mom and i both used 1 cart, Total items in the cart probably 25. They told us No, I said its 2 separate transactions they said doesn't matter. So if I go and get another cart it's ok? Just bc my mom don't know how to do her own grocery at check out so I'm always there helping her. So today we got kicked out of self check out bc they refused to let us do 2 separate transactions and were rude about. Shoprite that's bullshiet bc there were about 25 items for the 2 of us. Thank you for making our shopping difficult today. A pissed off customer.

Lots of variety, friendly associates, had everything I needed at reasonable prices. Very happy with how much food I got, for what I spent, using the weekly circular and digital coupons. Cashier was very good about not sending too much down the belt until I'd gotten things bagged--thanks, Alan! ☺️ Clean, well-stocked. Thanks, ShopRite! 🌻

I've been going here for years for my kids birthday cakes and they always do an incredible job making my kid's birthday cakes every year they never fail to impress my explanations I love how hard they really work to make an impeccable birthday cake if I could I would give them a ten star rating 😁👍😊

Got what we needed prior to Valentine's Day. Sort of forced to do self checkout w/lack of manned registers, but it's a pain when every single item scanned comes up "unexpected item in the bagging area" & requires a staff override!!

MAKE SURE TO ALWAYS CHECK YOUR RECEIPTS HERE! So many times I have caught discrepancies between the item's labeled price and the price by which I was charged at the register. In every instance, the price at the check out/register was always higher.

Fan of the wide range of fruit selections you can get at this Shoprite compared to others. However, they aren't priced the friendliest simply because they are exotic fruits. Most of them you can get for cheaper at local smaller groceries stores.Avoid coming here during rush hour because the lines are insane and the service is quite slow. But overall, food prices are reasonable compared to direct competing supermarkets like Acme and you can find nearly everything you need here.

EVERY SINGLE time we order lunch meat they slice it thick even though it's specified thin. It's so thick that we wind up throwing it away. The deli staff is very rude. It doesn't matter if you call and speak to the manager. This has been going on for last two years. It falls on deaf ears. Self check out is a nightmare because it constantly off about the item in bagging area as you are trying to bag. It takes forever for the staff to clear it even though there are 3 standing there. The store is always dirty. I don't know why I haven't switched to Somers Point sooner. The drive is worth it.

Deceptive pricing and rude managers. The digital coupon never works. Sale items are often sold out or unavailable. Last week there was a handwritten sign saying the price in the circular was a "misprint" and they would not honor it. Don't waste your breath complaining. The heavyset middle-aged woman is notoriously rude and the tall guy literally laughed in my face. I guess he finds other people's frustrations to be amusing. Their multi-tiered pricing is so deceptive as to border on consumer fraud.

I like this shoprite. It's my preferred location. The deli offers selections others don't like turkey ham and beef salami. I can't get them though because every time I order in my name and pick up my order is messed up. I understand stuff might be out but I mean the order isn't there, I'm told I ordered SFH when I definitely didn't, or I am given a completely different item that is 2x the price of what I ordered. Figure I must be on a hate wall or something there because when I order in someone else's name I get the stuff with 0 issues. I'll seek other options from now on.

Happen now 3 times in a row. You choose thin slice on the computer for deli meat but the workers cut the deli meat as thick as they can. Not sure if they have a hard time reading or prefer it says thick so they can have an easier time slicing. Why even have a choice if they are gonna do what they want. No one wants thick Virginia ham sandwiches. Lazy or incompetent workers equal poor review.

Review of the deli. Ordered a few things at the deli. Turkey, roast beef, cheese, Italian salad, deli pickles. They emailed me and said it was ready to pick up… saw the banded bag had my name on it and it was the only bag in the fridge. picked it up, walked over to check out and realized they never gave me the roast beef in my rubber banded packages. And I showed up 20 minutes late after ordering 2+ hours in advance. Walked back and Asked if they had it in stock and they said yes… so I left… wasn’t going to wait who knows how long after already ordering 2 hours ahead. Went back to check out and when I got to the 2 pounds of Italian salad.. both had the exact same thing in it but one rung up 7.50$ … assumed they weighed different. got home and checked the receipt and read the label and it said tortellini Romano cheese salad on one and that’s certainly not what was in it as that’s a completely different kind of noodle then what was in it. Yet I was charged extra for it. Someone doesn’t do that on accident. Someone had something crawl up their rear and clearly didn’t want to be at work today… and they shouldn’t be. Obviously. How could you feasibly put the wrong label on AND forget 2 pounds of roast beef as an honest mistake? 0 stars if I could. Last time I was there they said 30 minute wait and it took over 2 and half hours so I left the brown meat and warm milk and got new stuff. We’ve never liked this ShopRite. Somers point is much better.. save yourself the stress and annoyance and drive 5 minutes down the road to somers point.End of the day I paid an extra 2.50$ and they never even prepared the 2 pounds of roast beef. Lesson learned, for the 10,000th time. You see it sounds odd they would put the wrong label on AND forget the roast beef but I understand things sometimes happen… it’s just at this location it’s every single individual time I go to this deli. So In this case.. there’s nothing to understand. They’re just genuinely some ugly mustard.

I like this Shoprite. To be fair it is generally the same as most of them. The veggies and fruits are always good. They have plenty of self checkout terminals now that speeds up your trip.

They went waaayyy down hill! You can't even speak to a deli person...they're soooo rude! I have to throw my lunch meat out inside of three days!!! Selling nearly expired dairy & bread!!! The place is dirty too...making the switch to SP!!!! I only gave one star because it wouldn't allow me ZERO stars!!!

The rest of the store is decent, but the deli counter is horrendous. There were 3 people working behind the counter and no customers waiting. I pulled a number and waited. The people behind the counter asked me what number I was. I told said I was number 76. The person who I assume was the department manager came over and pulled the numbers out of the machine and reset everything to zero. I was then ignored by everyone at the counter. Seriously, I was the only person waiting. No one even offered help. They all just went back to whatever they were doing.

I like that ShopRite they have a better variety of food but the prices are higher than one in Absecon the inside of the story very nice much more variety of food especially my Marie Callander meals they have the best ones

Betty at your self checkout needs to be removed from customer service altogether. Sarcastic responses, and saying negative things about customers under her breath when she walks away is unacceptable under any circumstance. We all spend a ton of money at your store as customers and should be free from that type of negativity. I will gladly drive miles away to another store that has employees that treat their customers in at least a civilized manner.
