It's an okay pharmacy, they definitely seemed swamped with patients and not enough staff on hand. Gerard was very courteous and even though my appointment was not at the scheduled time I came back later to get my flu and COVID shot. Hopefully Management is able to help better staff this place.

terrible experience. i would give zero stars if possible. very disorganized, it took quite long to get most of my daughter's prescriptions. they forgot her antibiotic (until i asked about it), and lied to me about oxycodone (they said it is on backorder with no release date. i know that's not true, i'm a pharmacist). the two medications (antibiotic and pain medicine) are very important for my daughter (she had wisdom teeth removed today). i will never go back to this store.

Sebena was competent and kind. I hurt my ankle and needed help picking up my phones because I couldn’t drive and she instantly was able to fix the issue while have a good and positive attitude. Thanks Sebena !

My Eye Dr who did my eye surgery called in 2 scripts early afternoon.(before going back for my other eye)My glaucoma pressure was very high. So he called in to Walgreens PharmacyI went there to pick them up twice!! Not ready. Went back 2 hours later and to be told one script was declined due to "not due until Agust.. l said what your insurance declined payment. I said it's a eye prescription, I've never had beforeCould you recheck.Oh, we don't have that one. I said l need it before my other eye tomorrow!Can you call cvs , she said we don't do that! I said if course you do! Then someone else, l think the new supervisor/Mgr stepped in and said she would call CVS for me.. They have the medication!!! We'll fax it over.An hour later l called CVS and they haven't received fax yet it's now 5:12 pm EST3 hors!!!!Judith P. MucciIt been

I’m giving a 4 star because I had great customer service from the cashier this evening! I don’t know her name but it’s the nice Spanish lady who helped me. Every time I go in there she is always so sweet. But someone should tell grumpy dude who was paged to customer service then yelled “ I’m right here give me a minute followed by profanity “ someone should give him a people person class! Because I heard him when I was looking at cards! Very unprofessional dude!

Sometimes in the hustle and bustle of all the stores around strip malls we forget about our neighborhood pharmacy. I first went in here on Christmas Day and everybody was really friendly. I was really happy to find them open since I desperately needed something, and they were more than willing to help. The store is well stocked with professional staff. I am going to my prescriptions filled here since I like Walgreens and did not know we had one so local to Mays Landing. I think the management here should be really pleased with how hard everybody works. Great store!

Was told my prescriptions refills had been received and would be filled the following day twice and both times they hadn’t even contacted the dr. Then they tell me a refill request was denied for a basic allergy medication. My dr said they had never even heard from them and had no idea why they would say that. It takes days to get an answer from them. If you call you’ll spend over half an hour to an hour waiting to get someone to answer.

This pharmacy team is absolutely amazing. After booking an appointment with another Walgreens in the area and then that Walgreens not honoring an appointment and closing their pharmacy this team was willing to help us. They bent over backwards to assist us and highly recommend them for any of your pharmacy needs!!

Dear Walgreens,I noticed you got rid of the other reviews I don’t know why but you need to do something about the staff in the Pharmacy. I’m home not feeling well and I don’t drive because of my illness so my mom had to drop off my medication, to get a refill. She calls me and said she was in the drive through, and the lady was very rude to her.I never EVER had a problem with Rite Aid Pharmacy And when I see my doctor, I’m going to tell him to transfer my medicine to CVS. Sorry but I’m not coming to a pharmacy, we’re there rude to you.

I LOVE WALGREENS... BUT, Egg harbor city's Walgreens could definitely use some help. They're not THE WORST, but they're far from the best. Mainly because of their employees.. the pharmacy (my fiance and mother in law use it) isn't great at all .. I believe they're switching soon.. The pharmacists here don't communicate with their patients/customers, they frequently are out of medicines and they're not very knowledgeable or informed. (From experience, witnessing it.. and from what they tell me.) Personally I'd never use them, after what I've heard. As for the store, I've had several bad experiences with my sale items ringing up full price, this has happened at other Walgreens but the cashier always fixed it for me! Here in egg harbor City Walgreens they say okay and don't do anything about it we're offer to help... They really seem very lazy or maybe they just don't know what they're doing OR they don't want to. if I'm ever going there to shop I make sure I'm going to go to the one in hammonton, a lot of times everything is disorganized and anything that's on sale is usually empty.I don't know, but if you are looking for a good Walgreens experience I wouldn't recommend going here.. or for a pharmacy. Like I said it is not the worst experience every time but it is definitely far from the best.

This walgreens in Egg Harbor City is really really bad .the drive thru can be considered useless if I'm sitting still waiting to see a friendly face for close to 10 MINUTES . So I decided to just go inside, maybe they are really busy . Inside was the true revealing story. A pharmacist and assistant were filling the orders while the pharmacy clerk worked the line. One of the pharmacist was trying to do both jobs, fill the orders and work drive thru. The clerk was working the line inside , which was ridiculous. I decided to go home and return later . Went thru the drive thru again, and waited forever . The clerk with MASK DOWN BELOW HER CHIN comes to the window. She looked overworked and exhausted and it was only 11am!!! . I finally had my prescription filled but they are way overworked and it is reflecting in the ability to maintain a safe environment by WEARING THE MASK PROPERLY. The pharmacists are either to busy or to comfortable, allowing the clerk to represent herself in such an unsafe manner. I think I'm going to go to CVS to fill my prescription. It just seems to busy here with not enough staff. Not their fault. I blame corporate .

ok first the store doesn’t carry many items it used to and the prices are way higher than rite aide! Also the staff isn’t friendly at all (except for the one employee who stayed from rite aid)! They’re not helpful or even courteous. The pharmacy is a disaster!! They’ve screwed up my meds many times, had me on hold on the phone over 45 minutes, waiting a half hour for pills they texted and told me we’re ready and they weren’t!! I’m waiting to hear someone died from getting the wrong meds! I’m transferring to cvs Ill make the trip rather than shop at Walgreens!

Absolutely terrible pharmacy since it was sold, pharmacist was rude, gave incomplete information then was ignorant. Place is a hot mess pharmacy wise. Front of store and rest of staff were great.counter people at pharmacy try to do thier best under ridiculous conditions.
