We love coming here! A great place for a specific market. I know a lot of people who have horses and Farms come here. We come here for the specialty bird food and the specialty nuts for our squirrels. I love that you can just grab a scoop and buy it by the pound. We also get specialty stuff for our dog here, they order stuff too for us if they don't have what we need. They are very good to their customers and they are very great people! I highly recommend trying this place out!

Cool shop with a huge selection packed into a small place. The staff was super friendly and helpful. I will be back once I'm in the area. I'm excited to try the deer mix they have to see if it draws in more bucks.

i have not been here in yrs but when i did go it was great... friendly people... helpful with whatever questions u have... and they carried everything... i used to get cat and dog food.. litter.. collars.. leashes.. nail clippers.. hair clippers... they carried something for everyone ... i am getting ready to go back... i no longer have any pets but i look forward to shopping at the Shady Brook Farm...

This place is awesome. It has everything that a farmer would need and i mean everything. Feed for any animal that you can think of, stuff for hunters, care of any animal and everything in between . Very nice family has owned it from day one passed down from generation to generation. I have never gone here for anything i was looking and left without it. It's a place you have to visit to see for yourself to understand what I'm saying. Highly recommend

I like going to Butterhoffs. I generally get all my gardening, animal supplies bird seed and other Farm type supplies there. They are small family-run business I wholeheartedly support Hometown businesses. I have always gotten excellent service , and if I've had questions I've always been answered promptly and accurately. Butterhoffs has a good selection of items and I have rarely gone there and not been able to find what I needed. They are helpful pleasant knowledgeable And I Appreciate their expertise. Their prices are reasonable. More so than many of their competitors.

They have everything you need for your farm or farm animals. Family owned business. I am 50 years young and this place existed when I was 10 years old. My girlfriend in high school was getting her horses supplies from here. They also deliver. They have small engine repair(lawn mowers etc)

What a great farm and pet store. They have a little bit of everything. Going In there brings back fond memories of the good old fashioned stores from when I was a child. They also carry a brand of dog food that has helped my dog tremendously. I have not seen Victor dog food sold anywhere else. My pup was having alot of digestive issues. My daughter said try Victor dog food. It had helped her dogs, and sure enough after 2 weeks, he was doing great.

My family and I have thinking about raising hens for a while. We wanted a particular breed and was Butterhof's happen to have the breed we wanted. The staff at Butterhof was very informative and while we were new to owning chicks, we felt we were not over sold. They have a ton of times for farms and DIYers like myself. I would trust your needs with Butterhof. I'm hard to please, but I left happy.

I love this place we need more places like this great old fashioned service that you just can't get from a big chain store I rather spend a few extra minutes and a couple extra dollars and go to this place and they had hard to find items that you can't get at big chain stores looked all over the place for a 4 inch hand auger nobody had it a plumbing hardware place in egh harbor city told me about butterhoffs went on a chance and there it was plus alot of other stuff you just can't find at the big chain store butterhoffs rocks so now that place is my first stop for all my projects and love the personalised service that I haven't seen since I was a kid
