We boarded here so our energetic dog would not be in a kennel all day but out playing and socializing with the other dogs. Every time I checked the cameras she was still in her run. I would call and be told they were running late and would move her. This did not give us a confident feeling that she was being taken care of efficiently. We will not board here again.

Holly is an awesome groomer. We have Cavalier King Charles dogs and they are not easy to groom properly. Holly knows exactly how to make them look beautiful while keeping their hair long and silky. She is also very kind and gentle with them. Highly recommend Holly for grooming.

I waited 4 months before I could leave I review since my heart was broken and extremely disappointed. I reached out to the owner for an explanation back in December 2023; I left a message via telephone and via email with no response. When I picked up my dog after a 5 day stay; he smelled SO BAD, like urine. His bed was soaked and wet, it smelled like urine. NOT once I was contacted about this. My dog was extremely traumatized when I picked him up, he threw up twice and depressed. I boarded him in the past with no issues. I told the front desk “please don’t put my dog with the big dogs because he gets bullied.” Every time I checked the camera my 50 lb medium dog was with the big dogs (at least 20-30 dogs each time!!). Unfortunately, I didn’t read the most recent reviews before I boarded him.

All Star on Cologne Ave gets 5 stars! Andrew has taken over the management position and is doing a great job!! The place is clean and the employees are happy! Lucy jumps out of the car and heads right in, tail wagging!!

Be very cautious about using this place for boarding. We have been taking our dog here occasionally since 2021. We never had an issue until this most recent time when we left our dog while we went on vacation. I heard that ownership changed so that probably explains the drop in quality. They were pretty communicative to us during our trip yet when my mother in law went to pick her up we were informed she had an accident. It wasn’t until I called that they told us a dog that has had previously known aggressive tendencies had attacked her and she had 2 bite marks. How they can allow a dog who has had known issues before into daycare but then also not contact us regarding the situation or our emergency contact is unacceptable. We have sent a few emails that have fallen on deaf ears with not even an apology for the non-communication from them.Needless to say we will never be back, nor will my in-laws and we will not recommend here to anyone we know.

All Star Pet Resort is my go-to spot for my precious doggy. Ive been taking my puppy there for over a year now and its been a pleasure everytime. The staff are very friendly and the facility is big with plenty of room for my buddy to run around and have a good time. They are always reliable and I am thankful for their service. Happy and satisfied =).

DO NOT BOARD HERE!!!I am very familiar with all star and the services they provide but unfortunately they are not as good as they are told to be.The place offers no safety in pets as they go through a meet and greet practice day but they will still let aggressive dogs in the daycare/boarding area. And I’ve heard from many other customers that their dogs have been attacked by some in the daycare area and even need to go to a hospital. They don’t feed at appropriate times. Why would I want my dog to eat DINNER at 4pm. And why would I want the last time they have a chance to use a bathroom be at 5pm. It’s not right. They never have enough staff to properly care for the pets and will even not do the daycare sessions and the dogs will be in a room all day. And if you’re dropping ur dog off for daycare and not boarding. Good luck. Your dog will leave traumatized.they will leave your dog in the cage all day without going out a single time and not even have water and when you go to check out they will pretend they went to daycare and like everything went normally. IT DIDNT. There is a girl who works in the daycare and she grabs dogs by the back of their neck to drag them in a cage and will yell at the dogs in the daycare. You can hear it from the kennel next door which is where I take my dogs now. The place stinks. Doesn’t get cleaned and doesn’t even have a proper manager right now. There is an assistant manager who’s there right now who is awful. He doesn’t have good customer service and will hand you dirty bedding without explanation on why it wasn’t washed. He has an attitude and I’ve heard he’s even yelled at his employees from a friend of mine who used to take her dog there.He doesn’t give dogs their medications and will leave before being able to talk to the customers. He lies about what he does.Save the money and the hassle. Go somewhere better. It is not worth it.

I absolutely love the staff at this pet resort. My dog has stayed in day care in Manhattan a couple of times and never enjoyed it. Since we were vacationing in Ocean City, New Jersey, we decided to leave her at the Pet Resort for a day. My Labradoodle was incredibly not very upset after I picked her up. We took her to the dog beach in OC for the next days, so we did not need to leave her there for another day. I highly recommend this place.

All Star Pet Resort is one of the best doggy daycares I have taken my puppy to. They welcomed my puppy, Darla, with open arms and treat her like she’s part of the family. The staff greats me and my dog every morning and go above and beyond to make sure I am at ease and my doggy is taken care of. Mariah does an outstanding job every morning I see her. All of the staff are polite, professional and have a huge heart for all dogs! Eddie, Rasheeda, and Jordan are always have positive attitudes and really get to know the dogs they take care of. It’s wonderful!When I pick my puppy up I was impressed with the report cards they give out.The live cameras in the daycare are the best thing ever. As I said before, the staff and crew are professional and courteous.They held a puppy birthday party for my doggy,and the seasonal events they hosted were enjoyable! I will continue to use All Star Pet Resort for daycare and board my doggos in the future!

It was Rocky’s meet ‘n greet. I was concerned that the bigger dogs would gang up on him like they do at public dog parks. But when I picked him up, he was running happily w the pack! Attendants were on hand monitoring playtime. Very pleased. We will return.

We need to board our Bernese puppy, Oliver, in a few weeks and decided to try out All Star Pet Resort .. a place that has always been only a few miles away, but we had never used with previous dogs. So far, we are happy we did!New dogs have an all-day complimentary Meet and Greet to see how they will do in the new environment. When we dropped him off and picked him up, the staff was very pleasant and attentive and genuinely seemed happy to be there with the dogs. With our puppy going off for the first time on his own, the live webcam was perfect.When we picked him up at the end of the day, he was excited and exhausted .. a great combination!We look forward to another great experience when we board him overnight!

We have boarded our dog at All Star Kennels and him groomed a couple times. We have come to know the staff as caring and thorough. They are willing to answer questions or attend to special requests. We will use their services again in the near future and we recommend their services.

We had our dog, Scout, groomed by Hannah and can not say enough positive things about her! She is patient but quick, and it is by far the best grooming he’s had done! She talked to me beforehand to make sure she knew how I wanted his hair cut and it came out exactly how I wanted. We won’t go anywhere else!

Everyone at All Star Pet Resort was wonderful with our pup on her first day away from home. She’s very skittish and scared of new people and dogs, and the staff were patient and kind with her. We booked a stay for her while we went on vacation, so this visit was her meet and greet, and although we ended up having family come to stay with her after a change of plans, we will absolutely be using All Star in the future. The facility is spotless, the staff are kind and loving, and their customer service was wonderful as well!

My dogs (Gambit, Hulk, and Thor) have been going to All Star Pet Resort for 4 years now and I have to say the staff there are wonderful. My dogs are always excited going in and coming out. They did raise the prices on us, but it is understandable with everything going on! We appreciate everything and see you soon!

I normally don’t write reviews, but I had to write this one. I’d you are looking for a place to take care of your companion, look no farther because this is the place for you. From the time you walk in to the time you pick up your companion, they are excellent. They have different options that fits your companion’s needs. I can’t recommend them enough!

We had another great experience at All Star! The staff are wonderful and they treat our pet as their own. I know our dog is safe and well cared for when we board him. We especially like that our young dog can play in Dog Daycare during the day. Highly recommend!

We took our 11 month old Aussie here so we could visit a beach that wasn’t dog friendly. They did such a great job tiring him out (he’s an Aussie and very hyperactive) and he was very happy when we picked him up! Even our daycare in Ohio doesn’t tire him out this good lol. 10/10 recommend! Pic included of our sweet boy

Fair prices especially for what you get. Not only do they have nice rooms for the dogs but they get plenty of doggy daycare where they can socialize with other dogs.

Worked with me on getting my pet into the facility. Called with there was an issues with Rocky started to scratch one of his hotspots. Took him in at the last minute. The facility was well maintained and the staff fell in love with Rocky and took in like they had known him all his life.

I heard so many good thing about this place and I got anything but that. They were just awful and there was something wrong almost every day. I dropped my dog off for boarding and I had to call them a few hours later because she wasn’t in the correct kennel and camera. They only take the dog for a 2-4 minute walk 3x a day.. she did not have a bed, just a blanket, and laid in her poop and pee majority of the day. They would take her blanket to wash it and leave her without a blanket and lay on the hard cold concrete for at least 24 hours at a time. Then the assistant manager tried telling us “it’s not true that big dogs need to constantly be out for a walk and they are content with short walks” my dog is outside running around for hours at home. There was a poor dog next to mine that just had poop all over the kennel for hours, people walk by and don’t clean up the mess. I tried calling one day MULTIPLE times and I didn’t get an answer for 3 1/2 hours to try and resolve why my dog was being ignored, got fed but poop not be picked up and the excuse was they were short staffed. There is no excuse why I’m paying so much money for my dog to just sit in a kennel all day everyday and be ignored. Then I pick her up and all of her stuff (in a trash bag) smells like pee and I have to throw it all away

I was skeptical leaving my 14 and 13 year old Puppies. I was able to watch them at anytime on the video camera, I received a call from Jordan explaining what my 14 year old was doing. I advised what to look for and all was well! I would not hesitate to leave them again and feel safe. Everyone was helpful and nice. Thank you.

I'm still trying to tell if my dog liked his meet and greet....his fur was saturated with wetness (slobber?) and he smelled horrific. His eyes were red and he vomited his food from breakfast in the lobby when I picked him up in the afternoon.

I boarded my Pyrenees Mix and sent her to daycare here. I'm more than happy to drive two hours for their service. Staff are so friendly, they make sure your pet gets all their needs met, and quick with their updates and responses.When they noticed my pups lack of appetite when boarding they took the extra initiative to heat up the food a little more and asked if it was okay for them to add broth to it.Thank you for all that you do and going above and beyond for our favorite fur babies.

Our dog just came home after six days. She had urinated either on her bed or on the floor. We’ve had her for 7 years and she has NEVER urinated in the house anywhere no matter how long we are away. I feel they aren’t taking the animals out as often as they should. It’s very disappointing! This place used to be wonderful! We were very disappointed……

Our new puppy (now almost two years old but ya’ know how that goes) was very shy but the staff was wonderful and made her feel so comfortable. By the time I left, she clearly really liked them. She also looked and smelled great after her bath and nail trim. Our sweet, pretty girl looked even sweeter. We will be back regularly!(80 lb dog btw)

All star pet resort took such amazing care of my dog, George, when he went for daycare. This was only my second experience with a dog daycare so I was nervous to leave my dog (he is anxious at baseline) but they put my mind at ease. I loved being able to check on him on the video monitor and see him having fun. I also saw the staff interacting with him multiple times which made me feel like he was in wonderful hands. All of the staff are wonderful and caring and truly love dogs. We only went twice (while we were staying nearby for a vacation) but it felt like they knew us in that short time and were so welcoming and accommodating. I can’t say enough good things about this place. I only wish they were in NY so I could take my dog more often! Thank you all! You guys are the best!
