I took my senior dog in for a nail clipping/grinding, and Kimberley was fantastic! My dog was very scared and she took excellent care of her, finding creative solutions to ease her anxiety. Kimberly took the time to ensure my dog was as comfortable as possible and did not rush the nail clipping at all. She even put a cute bow and bandana on her after! Definitely coming back to this location just so Kimberley can take care of my dog!

The groomers at this place are very good, you’d think that because its a chain store its not personal but thats anything but all the groomers here are super sweet and good at what they do! As for the store its clean its organized the only problem I would say is that it’s understaffed, a lot of the employees look a little stressed because they look like they’re doing check out while also being in charge of a separate department . Its not really a problem just an observation I always feel kinda bad

Cashier made a mistake, got me the manager. Lady with the nose ring. She was so rude. Some people have such power trips and bring it to where they work. I’ll be going to the north Brunswick location instead from now on, much friendlier!

I take my dog, my baby to the have her nails cut and file. My dog has her right front paw very sensitive to the touch. We’ve taken her to the vet and they can’t never find anything wrong with her paw. I’ve been going to Petco for a few years now. It’s always great services that they provide to the animals. I deal with a wonderful gentleman name Jeremy. My dog gets super happy when she sees him! He knows my dogs needs and always remembers about her paw. He is caring,empathetic and very professional! Kudos to Jeremy!!!

Absolutely awful experience. Our dog has boarded at their location at least 25 times. Every single time he was anxious at handoff but they were able to get him to separate successfully and he was a “perfect” dog, as per their feedback. This week we had a reservation for him to stay for the week as we were going away. The lady came up from behind our dog and put the “lasso” of their leash around his head. Our dog was startled, and growled at the unwelcome surprise. Immediately, they refused to go near him, as he “looked aggressive”. Our dog has never bitten anyone, and they have years of notes of him staying there and being perfectly behaved.They refused to board our dog, and left us in an impossible situation, as we were supposed to be heading away on a family trip. Needless to say, we had to change plans, and they did not care at all. No effort was made on their part to work with us or our dog, whom they have gladly taken for years, all because of their awful approach and careless attitude.We will avoid using Petsmart Petshotel at all costs, as we cannot count on them as a reliable option moving forward.

I recently started shopping at this PetSmart again, and I must say there are some personable, professional cashiers there now. I'd stopped shopping there quite a while ago after strange interactions with a cashier who just irked me when I had the misfortune to end up with her. She was just ill-mannered and not very personable, and I really disliked having to deal with her.She just didn't seem to know better.But my recent cashier experiences there have been great. So, that's good.Re: the store. It's OK, and I can usually find most of what I want. But on one of my recent trips, I'd noticed that there was a "puddle" near one of the aisles toward the front of the store. I let a worker know about it. He asked me if I saw/knew which dog had done it. Puzzled, I told him know. I went about my shopping and was in the store for quite a while. From the time that I entered the store to the time I paid the cashier and left, that puddle just stayed there. I thought that was unfortunate.

Came here and hough this lil' guy.But while purchasing some of the needs for a hamster, I dont see any toys to buy, I could'nt find other treat options, I also did not see enough hamster supplies in this location.BUT to make it up for it, whoever put their name as Zeus when I purchased her, LMFAO u funny. And sorry that we bothered you multiple times to find a button and make you make a carry box for 5 minutes. LOL! Even forgot multiple things and had to go back n fourth.Someone give him a raise 🤣

First time ever bringing my dog to any groomer I usually wash her myself. When I got there they helped comfort her because she gets nervous in new places. The guy walked me through the whole process so I had a better understanding. After 2 hours she got her nails trimmed, hair trimmed in some areas, and a nice bath with deshed soap. She seemed happy when I walked in getting brushed. He told me how she did and even had someone help him to keep her relaxed and comfortable through the whole process. She came back smelling great! And super soft.

The grooming service is awful. They’ll cut your pet without informing you and proceed to blame it on hot spots (you’re not supposed to continue the service if there’s an open wound anyway). They give uneven haircuts and do not care about your pets needs whatsoever

my experience in this place very bad customer service from the grooming department horrible they called me to pick up my dog ​​and it was wet and dirty and paid 60 dollars I do not recommend this place especially the person who treated my dog ​​his name is jazmin bad service and very expensive. this is my dog ​​if you can see in the photo dirty on his feet and his face supposedly just finished bathing. horrible service and customer service

My 1 yr old dog stayed at the hotel for 3 nights in May. It was her first time boarding and I didn't know how it would go. The staff at check-in didn't seem to care about giving even average customer service to me as a human but was relatively friendly towards my dog. I received picture updates the first and second nights. When I came to pick her up, the front staff was slightly better as far as service. I asked for an exit bath and though I showed up a little early (possibly 15 minutes), they informed me that she had just gone into the dryer kennel and may not be completely dry yet. When I got her back in my possession, she smelled like feces and was covered in loose hair. I don't know what kind of bath they gave her other than throwing water over her body. The whole way home she whined and cried as though she was overwhelmed with relief that she was leaving. Cut to yesterday, a week after checking out, and she's been diagnosed with kennel cough. I understand this was a risk of boarding at any facility but based on the state I received her in, I can't confidently say it was a sanitary stay. This is also one of the only places i know that does NOT require the canine flu vaccine. I hope my pup feels better soon. She's been feeling awful the past couple of days and taking antibiotics. While I was hoping for a better experience, I was left disappointed and caring for an ill animal. I won't be booking here again.

I was helping the rescue with transported this pup to a potential adopter. It did not work out so I had to stop to get some more supplies. Everyone has so helpful since I did not know the setup of this store. He was so scared but still accepted the love from not just the employees, the shoppers were loving on him as well!

PetSmart Doggy Daycamp was great for our friend while we were in town on vacation. She went in so shy on the first day, and they offered to put her in daycare half the day and let her be one of the first in for the afternoon to get acclimated. The second day, she tried to pull me to the back of the store to get to camp. By our last day, she went to the side of the counter to try to get into camp before I could even sign the form. The camp counselors clearly adore her and all the camper, and she loved her time with them.

They say they open at 7am. OK good. I show up at 8 am, grab my pet supplies, and go up to the register.No one there.A random employee walks by, ignoring me.I ask, "Is there anyone to help me?"She says, "I don't think they open till nine."Huh?Why does their site say they open at 7am?Why did the door open to let me in?Why were there employees on the floor?I left my stuff in the basket and left.

I did NOT use the groomer, hotel, or training services. This review is on the store aspect. The employees are very friendly and the customer service is good. The store is clean and pretty well maintained and has good inventory. Now the bad: the fish they carry is very limited, and the guppy tanks have a lot of dead ones. The Betta fish look very sickly and unattended. I will never buy live fish from you, I suggest you do the same.

Highly recommend the grooming part of this location! Amanda took such good care of my dog and did a phenomenal job. I felt very safe and comfortable leaving him there for his haircut. He looks adorable.

The rudest people ever. I used to always bring my golden here, i stopped for a few months because i started doing grooming services by myself at home. My dog loves the bath and is very calm, never barks, very calm. They called me an hour into everything saying they couldnt complete services because my dog was not complying and moving around too much. My dog only acts that way when she has been handled aggressively, its a very frustrating and odd situation. Since i arrived to drop off my dog for my 8am appt, they wereacting rude and all had at attitude.If you’re upset that we havent been the in a fee months simply because i decided to do things at home, just say that but theres no need to be rude towards customers. They are NOT getting money anymore.
