Update: Cage continues to peel paint!! Kim from customer service offered to replace to parts with a DIFFERENT COLOR since this cage is discontinued. NO SHOCK there!! I am now looking at replacing this cage only after buying it 17 months ago! I was also made to feel like this company was "doing me a favor" since the cage was OLD....my mother has a cage that is 20+ years old and still in good shape. I cannot and will will not recommend this company as they don't stand behind their products! Admit when you have a problem and fix it!Bad Customer Service!!!! I bought a King Care a little over a year ago for a small blue quaker parrot when purchasing the bird from a small breeder. Initially the cage had problems with black coming thru the seed baffles and the breeder contacted King and they replaced them!The paint coating is coming off in several locations throughout the cage! Mainly in two places near the door and top small door. I contacted King and spoke with Dawn. While on the phone she was seemed very helpful and ask me to send photos via text message.I was told via text that "it looks like bird damage from pecking" and they could offer paint to fix the problem.When I reply'd to the text I've heard NOTHING BACK FROM THESE PEOPLE!First off this is a $500-600 cage not a $200 cage purchased from Walmart or PetSmart.Paint will not solve the problem b/c it's not baked on the cage.I don't believe this problem was created by my small parrot she does not chew on the bars of the cage. My feeling is that the "baked" on color comes off in certain areas with time.I was asked if I power washed the cage = NOI only use a sponge, warm water and dash of vinegar much less abrasive than Poop off and other things!I will NEVER buy another King Cage due to their lack of caring and standing behind their products!At least text me back with a response or alternative solution. Own the problem and fix it!oh BTW this is a photo of my bird that is sitting on a solid pine dining room chair which she has NEVER chewed on on 13months!

USA made, excellent quality parrot cages with beautiful powder coating. Easy to assemble (2 people for larger cages). I love the extra dome top door platform on the #9003628 for my new rescue Amazon parrot. Great customer service too…Dawn is a gem!

We have had a long standing relationship with Kings. Who better to ask cage questions to than the people who been manufacturing some of the highest quality cages for 40+ years. Running a non profit parrot rescue has led to us having complex questions about cages. The in-depth understand that Kings and their staff has about which cages are most suited for each species of parrot or bird has been paramount. When we say, “hey we have a macaw who destroyed 2 cages in their previous home,” they knew we needed stainless. Or if we have a species that is prone to chewing, they recommended the aluminum cages which was spot on and worked perfectly. This understanding has been immeasurable in our ability to place birds into safe, long lasting cages that we can feel confident in. Their selection of cages, toys, stands, food and anything your bird or parrot needs is amazing. The whole King family has also always been amazing with their donations as well. We can’t speak highly enough about Kings and their staff.

Do not buy from them. Received my cage on Oct 13 2023 and it was damaged the one side was bent. The one wooden perch was cracked and for almost $600.00 not built very good. Poor quality. Don’t even ask about return policy because the person i spoke with does not understand it was under the 15 day policy. She also gave me a hard time.

I am a first time customer and would definitely be a repeating one! I had a wonderful experience with King’s Cages thanks to one of their representatives, Dena. I was not completely satisfied with the bird cage I received and she was very patient and understanding. She was very determined to make sure I was happy with my purchase and went above and beyond to do so. Dena was extremely kind and very helpful. It was the best customer service I have experienced. I would highly recommend King’s Cages for all of your feathery friends’ needs!

Great cages. I have three model 305 cages that I bought from them in 2010 that are still housing my pigeons and macaws 10 years later. Very functional cages. In the years I have had them some of the casters have started breaking so I called last week and was helped by Toni who was extremely friendly. She immediately prepared the order and I received it the next day. Other reviewers have mentioned that welds can break and I have had that happen but kings is very helpful and you can buy replacement panels for $100-$200 which isnt that much money for cages that are over $1,000 apiece.

A couple of weeks ago, I ordered a bird accessory from Kings Cages in New Jersey. After a week, I contacted them to inquire about it. I, then, tracked the package and noticed that, a few days prior, USPS had delivered the package to the wrong address. Unfortunately, the person at that address claims that the package was never delivered there and, even worse, I had not purchase insurance. I considered the money lost on my end, since Kings Cages had, indeed, mailed the package.They asked me to keep them updated about this, so I called them with the end result. They were so bummed out about it for me that they offered to send me the same item, at no charge, and all I had to worry about was the shipping charges, which was peanuts. I was floored by that. Not that it was so much money, but it was a considerable amount, especially, when you don’t receive an item in return. Two days after speaking to them, I received the item from them and, as always, was very pleased with my purchase.On a final note, I’ve spoken to 3 different reps there during this ordeal and all 3 have been very professional and, at the same time, very friendly. Just because of this action alone, which they had no obligation to take, I will continue to go to them for my pet needs. Needless to say, I, highly recommend them.

I purchased 3 cages from this company for my B/G Macaw. The first two were great. The most recent one has a new lock which is a very poor unsafe design. My bird is able to get out threw the feeding doors when alone and of course destroyed furniture etc...I called to them to try to figure out a solution and Kim’s attitude was the opposite of when I made the purchases, Awful! No solution but to buy another expensive stainless steel cage.Please beware!If my Macaw can escape this design, any other bird can as well! It’s not safe!

Kings cages company itself if you order directly is amazing. The customer service is excellent and I’ve never had any issues with them and always a positive experience.... however... abba seed.. that owner is the rudest , nastiest, most ridiculously mean man I’ve ever met in my life. I drove from Salem Massachusetts to his store in NJ today and was no less than attacked with my friend I drove to the store just to get him what he needed. We knew nothing of appointments needed and was heavily chastised by the owner over it. He was completely insane , shaking and screaming and just plain crazy. I’ve never had an experience like that before in any store. If it weren’t for his products no one would ever deal with him. Most all my friends own aviaries and not one will go to him but send friends to get what they need to avoid him. May he be guided to kindness . Honestly worst I’ve ever seen. Racism shouldn’t be blatant when you get your products from China ..his door note says “ read the sign and if you can’t go learn English and come back” can’t get anymore raciest than that!!

Love this company! I ordered a large perch, because the XL was sold out. I sent a note with the order explaining what I really wanted, and asked for the largest they had. They called me to clarify, and found me an XL! It arrived today, Tiki loves it and opened the box herself. Unfortunately, one wingnut was stuck, so I called them to ask for help. I immediately spoke to a real person, explained the problem, and they're sending out a new screw. She even said she would check it to make sure the wingnut unscrews all the way. What outstanding customer service, and they stand behind their products. I will not hesitate to order from them again!

Buyer beware! Shoddy construction and no guarantee. After only two years, a half a dozen welds on the door failed. It was obvious that they were faulty and had no penetration. When I called them I found out there was NO guarantee. Since all the broken welds were on the door, I asked if I could get a replacement door. They told me that each batch of cages is different and the door wouldn't be interchangeable. So obviously they have someone else make their cages and have no quality control. They offered to sell me a whole new front panel for $150 PLUS shipping even though the website clearly states "free shipping on orders over $75". Oh yeah, I was supposed to feel bad for them that they were going to take part of a cage and they wouldn't be able to sell the rest. I asked if they would guarantee that the replacement panel would fit. I was told "it will fit". They wouldn't say it was guaranteed. I searched the website and it says replacement parts are not guaranteed. Why wouldn't they just tell me that when I asked? All in all, I liked the cage at first, but it turned out to be poorly made and the company was difficult to deal with and just out to make a buck with no concern for their customers or the animals that use their cages. PS I tried to leave feedback at their website only to discover that you can't! Any "testimonials" are fake.

Wonderful customer service and support. Sent me 2 sides of 2 aluminum cages because the wheels on both my birds cages were coming off. No charge. I was overwhelmed. The cages cost me $1200 a piece.

I have three large King's cages, the large aluminum travel cage, a play stand, and other stuff from King's Cages. Their products are the way to go. I am also confident in King's Cages customer support. Customer support is a huge deal when purchasing something so large, expensive, and important. I can't say I'd trust any other brand of cages for my birds.

Just purchased a 506SS, paid almost $4,000.00 for a piece of (you know). It's amazing how thin they can make SS in china, it's a shame they don't have any welding classes. Even worse, they don't have grinding classes either. Very poor welds (where they remembered to weld) and finish is absolutely awful.The seed catcher and bottom tray aren't much thicker than her vy duty aluminum foil. The bottom tray's corners are only spot welds and two broke while assembling the cage for the first time. The seed catcher's corner clips (the only thing holding the seed catcher together) are just plain silly. They know this is so, as they put in the instructions that you can squeeze them with pliers to make them work.There's sharp edges everywhere. It took me hours to grind the surfaces so my macaw would not get injured.The perches are about a foot long, coated in sand (not recommended, hurts the bird's feet) and screw into the side of the cage. There is no perch that crosses the cage, you know, like they show in the photos. I guess the $5 that the dowel cost would break King's.In conclusion, this is the second 506 I've purchased. The first was powder coated, which didn't last 5 years. After the first day my B&G broke an inferior weld. King's solution to a brand new cage with bad welds was to tell me to take it to a welding shop then get it painted (no compensation offered). I should have learned from that experience that King's quality is no longer. I'm sure you can tell that there will be no more King's Cages in this aviary.

I'm currently giving two stars, but that may change depending upon the answer I get back from them. I ordered 3 perches for my large cage that I have 4 parakeets in. They asked whenI ordered, what size and species of bird the perches were for. I stated size small, species parakeet. I have a receipt stating such. They sent me macaw sized perches! I emailed about returning them and they said yes, but would charge a restocking fee. I sent a copy of the receipt showing the size and type bird I was ordering for. It seems it was their mistake and I don't believe I should have to pay for their mistake.

Cages are awesome, company is nearly the least helpful place I have ever tried to spend money. I was told that my confirmed order was in fact out of stock and that 'these things are sometimes just not meant to be.' What? I had to make 3 phone calls and insist they give me names of retail stores they sold to so I could track one down myself. Only cage I will ever need but no thanks to them. Poor people skills. Waited a week to post this and still aggravated.

I ordered a new King's cage for my Senegal from Bonka Bird Toys through Amazon. When it arrived, it was bent and damaged in several places. I called King's first, and without hesitation they overnighted me a brand new cage in perfect condition and picked up the damaged one free of charge. Five star customer service, and my Sennie and I couldn't be happier with the new cage. Nice to deal with a company that stands behind their product!

I live nearby and have a bird, so I wanted to check this place out. I have a cage with no wiring on the bottom to prevent the bird from jumping down and eating his own poop. I thought maybe they had these so I came to check them out and see what else they have. The woman there was very rude, had an attitude, and would not let me finish my sentences. I wanted to see where their prices start but she was very impatient. I didn't bother to look around like I wanted to.

Kings cages has a great product.The cages may not be made in the USA anymore,however they still put a lot of thought in the cages and other products! They are my first choice after 16 years!

They sent us bird seed with worms and moths in it. When we contacted them about it they did nothing for us. They were rude, and didn't even offer an apology. They will never get money from me again.
