BLUF: I absolutely recommend this guy! Birds aren’t only his business but also his passion; he truly cares about these birds and will provide after sale customer service if you have any questions. If he has what you’re looking for, get it from him over other places. Lastly, yet most importantly, he’s honest and trustworthy, which I value greatly.To read:I had been looking for a blue and gold macaw for quite sometime and I was not able to find someone selling for a reasonable price or someone that would properly answer and address all of my questions. Shawn was very helpful from the get go, answering all of my questions and even informing me of things I wasn’t aware of. He won’t just sell his birds to anyone, he needs to see you with the bird and he’ll only sell if he believes you’ll get along with the bird and if the bird is going to the right home. Macaws can be very tough to adjusting to a new owner or home, this macaw is already used to me. And anytime I have any questions, I text or call Shawn and he’s super responsive and more than helpful every time. I really wish this business well, and hope he expands BirdsByUs over the next years.

Shawn is a very intelligent young man. I bought Sunshine the eclectus from him 3 months ago. Shawn definitely has experience with birds/parrots and there very healthy and cares for them very well. It's my first time owning a parrot and he did an excellent job explaining everything and gives great tips. He also did a great job cutting Sunshines wings. I highly recommend him and I promise you that you will be happy getting a bird/parrot from him. I would definitely get another parrot from him in the future.
