They have a wide selection of birds, from common parakeets and cockatiels to more exotic species. 🕊️🦅🦉The staff is knowledgeable and friendly, and they can answer all your questions about bird care. They also have a large selection of bird food, toys, and cages. I highly recommend for 🐦‍⬛ all your bird needs!

I have been boarding my bird at this establishment for past 3 years whenever I have to travel. They take good care of mine lil GCC. The owner is really nice accommodating. The employees there are nice too. I always stop at the store whenever I visit the area. They have really nice exotic birds.

We recently brought home our new best friend, a little grey cockatiel. She was already stepping up and very tame. We could tell she’d been well cared for at the store. The store is always clean and the birds are clearly happy and healthy. Some say the prices are high, but these babies are being hand fed and tamed before they go home to you. Worth every penny!We did not do the DNA testing, but it’s worth noting that they charge about $100 LESS than what my vet quoted for us.

Love this place... Every employee is courteous and extremely knowledgeable. Lisa, the owner, is amazing! She does it all! Feedings, orders, inventory, customer concerns, sales, YOU NAME IT! Yet she always will stop and take the time to assist or answer any questions you may have. I recently purchased a baby cockatiel but she's not quite finished weaning yet. I live about an hour away so I'm unable to come visit my bird every day or even every week. So they take turns playing and interacting with my bird so she doesn't feel lonely.

I bought a Coneur type parrot and I really enjoyed the kind service, I suggest anyone who lives in north central NJ to come here to buy pets much better than petco or petsmart

My students and I had so much fun learning about the cockatiel and the other birds. The manager Lisa was kind enough to take out the bird and let my student hold it. My student can not stop thinking about anything but this baby bird. She now wants to work in a bird shop and have her own baby bird. It is not often that you find such a kind person to share her passion with others.Thank you

The Bird house is clean and well kept. All the baby parrots and birdies are treated with love and attention. We purchased two baby Conure parrots boy and girl. We were able to visit and bond with our babies until they were ready to come home. The staff and owner are great. I would recommend The Bird house.

Amazing staff, super helpful. Never had an issue with them. They have affordable prices, good variety of birds, and wean them for you. The Bird House also provides boarding options for birds if needed as well as grooming(nails, wing clipping)

my first time coming here and I was greeted with a very lovely store! There is an entire wall of bird toys behind the small animals, and it will lead you all the way to the back where you’ll see most of the birds.Some reviews said the cages are “small” but the birds looked very well cared for. They have good, higher quality cages that are also super clean!Both people who helped us out were wonderful! I had no trouble with being able to hold the birds and pick out the one I wanted to take home. I wound up taking home a young conure :)

Great place and great prices. Got my first catalina macaw from them. The owner lisa gave us alot of info of the bird itself and things i will need to know as a first time macaw owner. All birds looked pretty healthy. Lets put it this way all the birds are all babies and 95% are sold and have owners. I rather buy my baby bird from a place like this then petsmart or petco.

It’s a great place to buy a bird and supplies. A very friendly and informed staff. Clean and quality toys and foods. We love our family addition and she’s very healthy four years later. I wouldn’t go elsewhere for a bird or supplies. Tips when buying a bird from ANY PLACE: Get a DNA test if you need gender identification. If you have other birds at home, keep your new bird sequestered until you take it to a veterinarian for a health check if you’re at all concerned about disease. You cannot blame a bird dealer if you don’t take certain steps that are important to you.

Beautiful store. Floors are clean, food isn't spoiled, toys aren't dusty or damaged. The birds are healthy, everyone had full food bowls and clean water, babies had a normal amount of soiled bedding for daily cleaning or so. All the birds had 2 or more toys in their cages and everyone had appropriate cage sizes, with some in slightly smaller cages that are housing birds going home with their owners very soon. The owner keeps her personal pet, Salem the pied crow, in the store; he's very friendly and worth saying hi to!

I've been to this store several times. I went this time to get my bird some perches. I am not sure if the lady at the counter was the owner or not but she owned a little dog Bella which was ADORABLE. She was EXTREMELY KNOWLEDABLE and SUPER FRIENDLY!! She definitely went above and beyond for us. My daughter loved the birds in the store and I still hear how adorable Bella is over a month later. The cages in the store are AWESOME as well. They have lots of cages to choose from and a large selection. Thanks again for all your help.

Let me just say, this store is incredible! The staff, the environment, the birds are amazing. The staff was so helpful and I ended up buying a green cheek bird who I still have today named Jules. He is my best friend and is the sweetest bird ever. I still come in and come to see the other birds every now and again. I always come for there food because of its nutritional value and for my birds toys which they have a wide variety of. I love this store highly recommend worth the trip!

To keep it nice and short. I’ve bought 2 birds from here, and this has got to be the best bird store I’ve been to! The owner Lisa and all the workers are very friendly and helpful. Also, the store is kept very clean and organized. Plenty of food, toys, etc. to choose from. ALL the birds (from babies to grown) are very well cared for and taken care of. Overall, just a great place to go if you’re looking for a feathered friend!

Was waiting for someone and decided to just go in and take a look around. I have had birds and have friends who have cockatiels. I enjoyed when you walk in there are pictures of "employees" but they are the pets. Great idea and I read them all...adorable. Immediately there are Guinea pigs and a couple bunnies. There were 2 women cleaning cages and caring for the animals, but neither acknowledged me. The birds are toward the back and they have mice and other small animals. The store was nice. Stop in and take a look around.

Been buying food and supplies here since they opened. They also trim my parrot's nails. The owner is there most of the time and couldn't be any more helpful. The place is always very clean and the birds are very well cared for.

I love going to the Bird House! You walk in and you're greeted by the chatter of baby birds all tucked together like they would be in the wild in their sweet little nesting areas, squawking and peeping their little heads out occasionally like little goofballs. It's adorable and lively and feels like you may have just found a jungle in East Brunswick. The owner, Lisa, is quite possibly the biggest animal lover I have ever met and clearly cares deeply about each bird (and guinea pig, bunny, hamster, and more!) in her store. (I also love getting to peek at the handful of larger birds in the back that call the store home. They are absolutely beautiful and majestic!) Personally, having had birds from chain stores in the past, there is a major difference in the temperament of these birds being handfed and handled with lots of love. I couldn't recommend the Bird House more highly if you're looking for a bird to love and spoil and make part of your family! (Or a friend of the fuzzier variety, too!)

Two young girls working there walk by like your not there .. try to ask questions got a vague answer stopping for a second and kept walking. Worst customer service experience I have ever had ... I'll be buying else where. The staff likes to hide and lacks communication skills.

June 1st I went into store to buy a male canary. I asked the young attendant over and over again if the bird was a male. She said definitely it was. Well a few days after one month, my so called male canary laid a blue speckled egg. I bought the canary back to the store. Of course a manager was there 2 young people who said they can’t tell a male from a female???? What? It wasn’t the young girl that gave me the canary that said that the night of June 1st but that’s their excuse. What kind of business is this? They just give you any canary? She said they throw all the canaries into one cage when they get them into the store. I explicitly said I wanted a male canary over and over again. They figure you won’t bring it back. I did and got no where with this store. BBB must be told so no one else gets stuck like I did.

We board out African grey parrot here whenever we go on vacation. They clip his wings and nails and have really nice, clean cages. We feel safe leaving him here and always pick up a few toys to keep him busy.
