Small shop, has a small parking space in front of the shop. The staff members were very understanding and communicative, she was very caring and patient. She asked whether my dog was a senior or not, and if my dog was, I had to sign a paper stating there's no need to rush the grooming of the dog. Due to dogs being 11 years old or older, they want to treat senior dogs with patience and care. Not rushing the grooming, giving breaks, snacks to relax and such. Very understandable, but I do believe this is what causes the groom to be somewhat pretty expensive. 70-90 w/o tip. give or take. I gave a generous 20 because I liked how they treat dogs with respect, and how they're so informative and knowledgeable sharing with the pet owners.

I would Never go anywhere else! They are the best groomers and they have the greatest relationships with the dogs, they treat the dog as if it was their own.

My dog enjoyed coming there. That's saying a lot if you knew her. She was deathly afraid to go anywhere else. Great people, great work, was always pleased with the service. Highly recommended.

Really kind hearted owners. Took my dog in when no one else would because it was a rescue dog and I didn’t know the exact age or breed. Long story short, they took care of my dog and really cared for her. I highly recommend them!

By far the best groomer I've had the privilege of using! Brought my 160lb "baby" Hades in today for the works, and not only did Shaggy Wags deliver, they exceeded all expectations! Hades looks amazing and he just seems so much happier and relaxed. When you come to Shaggy Wags, you're not just getting a grooming session for your best buddy, you're getting that part of the family treatment as well. They take the time to understand and learn what your pet does and doesn't like. That's so rare these days. As long as we live in this area, Shaggy Wags is the only place Hades will be going for all of his grooming needs!

Renee is fantastic! I would give this place 10 stars! She is so talented, calming, caring and down to earth. The only place I would ever trust with my dogs. She handles my 14 year old dog and my 7 month old puppy. Renee has definitely gained my trust and appreciation over the last 5 years. She is truly an animal lover and is extremely knowledgeable about caring for dogs.

I took my 1 year old schnoodle to his very first grooming at Shaggy wags. My dog never liked anyone touching his nails or cutting his hair so I thought he would be difficult to deal with, however the team members reported back with positive news and said my dog was very good for a first timer. Taking my fur baby to Shaggy Wags was the best decision I’ve made! All the team members are super friendly and caring of our fur babies! Not to mention the little cute Halloween bandanna they gave him! 100/10! Will be coming back💗

Shay is such a sweetheart and is the best groomer my dog has ever had. My dog can get aggressive when she’s anxious and she was able to get comfortable with Shay before even getting groomed. Shay will take her time to understand how you want your dog to be groomed. Seeing my dog so happy afterwards was definitely a first for me. She texted me updates while my dog was getting groomed and even sent me a picture of her. She is absolutely wonderful, I’m so lucky to have found her!!

my italian greyhound rescue has very high levels of anxiety and an extremely hard time trusting other people therefore he can get aggressive but Renee handled him like a baby instead of falling into a fear like most people do. She cut his nails perfectly and kept him calm throughout the entire process and got to trust her.Renee- thank you so much from treating him like any other dog who deserves love not feared, from the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU!

Pup PurriToday as I brought our 12 year old Yorkie to the establishment he has been going to since 2007, I learned that Rob no longer owns the business. The previous owner/operator Rob and his staff were personable, professional and accommodating with caring for Diesel. In their words Diesel was a pleasure to groom because he was so docile and gentle.My experience today was quite different with the new owner Renee. The hours have changed from 7:30 am to 8:00 am (possibly because of the present pandemic) This was not a huge problem since my daughter made the appointment and I assumed the start time was the same as the old start time. What I was not prepared for was the new owner telling me I could not get an estimate when Diesel would be done, especially since I had to be the first customer that morning. I explained I would need to pickup Diesel between 11:30 am and noon since I had an appointment that afternoon. To my shock and amazement she handed my dog back to me and said curtly, “I think you better take your dog.”Obviously, it is her choice which dogs she chooses to groom and no problem loosing a 12 almost 13 year customer. I wished her good luck in her new business as I informed her Diesel will no longer be a customer. She seemed okay with that. Rob!!! Where are you!!!

Just brought my senior pup here for the first time and couldn’t be happie! Renee and Ron were kind enough to bring her in on an early Sunday morning, knowing it would be easier on Febe to be there when she would be the only dog. So thankful for their understanding and love of senior pups and so happy to have found such an amazing groomer nearby!

I've brought my dog here 3 times, the first two times my dog was returned in great shape, looking & smelling great.However on the last session my dog was returned with bleeding nails, and no dog owner wants to pay full price grooming rates for someone to injure their dog, humans make mistakes I know, but not informing me of the mistake only adds insult to injury.Please inform your clientele when you accidentally hurt their dog.

This place has certainly changed since Rob and Lou left. I went to drop off my dog for grooming today. The groomer had such an attitude from the start that I refused to leave my dog. I had to ask her twice to give me my dog, as she was already holding the leash....and thought I was going to have to call the police....this is after I was already giving them a second chance from the last grooming, where they kept my dog almost 6 hours. She smelled like feces mixed with coconut when I picked her up. Never again!

Better than I expected took me in on a Saturday with out appointment just a walk on Tuesday. told me we don't take first timers on Saturday but I told them I have my son Jacob in car I said he is a pomeranian they awww ,they fell in love with him

We brought our dogs here for YEARS! We loved rob. Ever since the new owner took over it has been terrible. Uneven cut. She cut my dog and didn’t tell us until we saw the cut and blood. Very very i personal. I sadly will not be returning.

I am very disappointed in Shaggy Wags. Since change in ownership, the quality of the grooming has decreased DRASTICALLY ! We took our dog twice and after taking her to the veterinarian we were informed that the groomers have not cleaned her ears in months ! Our dog had to wear a muzzle to get her ears properly cleaned because they were severely infected. I will definitely be looking for a new groomer.

We brought our bernedoodle Lennox in for a cut and it was our first time at Shaggy Wags and they took such great care of him. The haircut was perfect and the groomer was very responsive and transparent through the entire process. Will be back here without a doubt.

Rob always took great care of my dogs. Since he has sold the business very smooth transaction between owners. The groomer who worked with Rob for all those years keeps the same Proffesional care for my poodle and cocker spaniel.

I wasn't satisfied with their service my dog was there for 5 hours and they did a bad job at trimming my dog, he smiled dirty with powder on top.
