10 of us went for dinner 2 weeks ago. It was our first time there but we will definitely be back. The food was good and the drafts were cold. The owner greeted us and took our order and the staff was outstanding. They kept checking up on us to make sure we had everything we needed. Food was cooked to order and was served hot. It is also a plus that they are veteran owned.

Showed up with a party of eight (4 adults and 4 kids) the staff could not have been nicer! And the food was amazing!! This is definitely a place we will be going back too. Super friendly and welcoming.Kid-friendliness: The staff was talking to our kids and brought them out donuts for dessert!

Local Pub/Tavern, great cozy atmosphere, Friday night was not overly crowded, and a happy cheerful professional crew manning the taps. Definitely plan on making this a regular stop! Added bonus is being able to purchase a few extra cans in case liquor store is closed or too far.

Stopped by Saturday afternoon for a drink and a bite to eat. The drafts were cold and perfectly drawn. At the owners suggestion I had their take on a cheese steak. This offering is on a pretzrel bun and filled with kielbasa and topped with cheese. Philadelphia meets Eastern Europe! My wife had the taco trio and pronounced the shrimp tacos "to die for".All around a wonderful afternoon with great people. Family friendly and clearly loving what they do.

Gr8 local watering hole, with friendly Bartenders and staff. Very good mixed drinks. Definitely a strong, & loyal local customer base. Good food, No doubt, Breakfast Lunch & Dinner! Awesome specials, most days.Parking: Plenty of parking space, with Handicapped parking.

Recently completely overhauled. Large area to gather with Family & Friends. Outside area with a Gazebo to gather round in warm weather also. Not your average Bar Menu either. VETERAN FRIENDLY! So STOP IN & say Hi to owner Norm & the Friendly Staff at the Root Cellar.

The friendliest place (ok, it's a kinda dive tavern) north of the Mason-Dixon line I've ever been in. Middle of nowhere, and totally worth the trip.All (except a-holes) are welcome, super friendly to regulars and one-offs.

Good wings and cheese steak egg rolls. Reasonable prices on domestic beer and packaged goods. Occasionally they have live music. Usually the service is pretty good and the crowd pleasant.

Good food, great bartenders. Servers are super nice. Kitchen can be a little slow but it wasn't a big deal since we were there to listen to the band playing that night.

Stopped and visited on Tuesday and had cold beers and the shrimp tacos, which were EXCELLENT ! Very good service from Fallon and overall really good experience.Will stop in again!
