This was the worst job I ever had. You weren't even allowed to drink water without a doctor's note when I worked there and even then you could only have so much. And you were barely allowed to communicate with your coworkers. I would also get in trouble for calling out too much when I was sick. What a miserable place to work as a cashier. Cart guy is where it's at. Also I worked there a while ago but forgot to write a review when I left. Better late than never

Quality seems to be slipping even as prices go up. Bought fish counter salmon the other day, froze it then made it today. It was rancid. A lot of the produce also seems to be going downhill in terms of freshness and quality. But we don't have a lot of choices around here.

I really appreciate the selection of gluten free and dairy free options at this store. And this Thanksgiving I was extra grateful for what was on the shelf. I didn't give a full five stars because it can still be improved upon both on selection and holiday pricing. I also want to say something about Steve, who went above and beyond by loading my holiday groceries into my car in the very heavy rain we just had. It's noteveryday we meet folks with such a serving spirit. It was very much appreciated. God bless you!

DO NOT GO HERE HUNGRY!!! What a great store! Friendly staff, quality products and good prices makes thi a "no brainer". But all the yummy in-store prepared products will definitely cause impulse buying 😀.

I have shop at this store for 15 years I spend 800 dollars a month today I went to store the price of things have gone up so high some almost 1 dollar on some things since last week. Also produce looked terrible.

Nice, store was clean, the customer service people in the isles could uses some help knowing where or what things are, I asked for the Aubuletta Chocolate tabs, and they didn't have any idea that they were for making real Mexican Cocoa, not a big selection in the Mexican section at all, it was basically not there..

Such a huge grocery store with a great selection of so many items to choose from. They have a great seafood department!Everyone is so helpful, great selection!

I don't shop here very often because based on what direction the wind is blowing is whether or not your going to get a good deal. I've found items in Walmart for $5 that are being sold here for $8 for example Rana Pesto Sauce - Family Size. If they could be more competitive than I'd consider shopping here more often. They're friendly and the store is clean. They also offer kids gifts if you're in a pinch. Flower section is unmatched if you're in Deptford.

The parking lot is being grinded & tarred during morning seinor hours. It took me almost 20 mins to get into the store from my vehicle, & that's handicap parking. But once inside, empty shelves, not worth the trouble to go shopping there at 7:45 am.

This would be a 4 or 5 star review; however, the algae covered lobster knocked it down. Normally they don't look like this which is why it caught my eye. I think it is time to clean the tank.

Very familiar with the layout of the store ~ great selection, choices, well stocked. Donuts are delicious! Great produce department ~ Nice selection of hanging baskets out front.the parking lot is a nightmare...

We shop at the West Deptford Shoprite on a regular basis, typically after dinner to avoid the crowds. Since Covid, more often than not, there is only 1 register open. It has become a practice now that the customers have to ask for another register to be open when there are already 3 or 4 deep waiting in line.Last night was no different except there were 3 staff members at the customer service desk chit-chating and laughing away with no idea to what was going on in the check out lines.So not only does the customer now have to pay about 25-30% higher prices, we have to bag our own groceries and be inconvenienced by having no check outs open. Covid is over now bagging should be back to the cashier with the customer helping, Shoprite should be appropriately staffing stores and providing good customer service. No excuses for not appropriately staffing your business. Unacceptable and inappropriate. There is a gentleman there however that is always willing to help and always does the right thing for the customer. His name is Steve. Now it is time for the Zallie family to do the right thing as well!!!!

I was standing at the Seafood Counter around 9am and noone was around. Kimberly was walking by pushing a cart loaded with packages of meat to stock when she asked if I was being helped. I replied no, she stopped what she was doing, and went behind the Seafood Counter and got my order for me. I thought that was excellent customer service and I told her so.

If you are lucky enough to be in that parking lot, which we all know is a brut, when Steve is working, there is a good chance you'll be greeted with a smile. Better yet, he'll put your groceries in your car while you put your LO in the car. Caught in rain? -he will hold an umbrella over you while you walk to your car. Finished with your cart and he sees it, he will put it back for you.There isn't anything like it.

Great store, big, has everything, but I took a star off for a few reasons. Parking is atrocious, lot is dangerous due to so much traffic. I am mad our local Shop rite closed and we are forced to drive to this over crowded store.

Very well stocked store with great staff. But the dairy department needs help. It's a mess. It's like Niagara Falls but with milk. It's dripping constantly and smells terrible.

Please renovate. This store is very tight especially at checkout. My biggest concern are the cart collection areas in the parking lot. Ive seen carts roll right out into traffic because of how they’re designed.

I drag myself over here once a month; have to get food somewhere! I never enjoy the experience. The entire site is too small for local demand. As many have mentioned, the parking lot is deficient in many ways. Take care walking as it's quite dangerous for pedestrians.My biggest complaint is the overcrowding. As others have mentioned, the aisles are clogged with employees and pallets of product restocking shelves -- and at the busiest times of the days. I don't know if they're trying to save money by not paying a shift differential to have this restocking done at night when it should be done -- or is the place really so small that full shelves in the morning are depleted by afternoon and have to be restocked during business hours? In addition, the marketing geniuses further clog the aisles with more and more product -- often blocking access to other products. Sometimes I feel like it's a middle east bazaar. Portable refrigerated units are plugged in and placed in front of refrigerated displays. To make matters worse, they seem to rearrange the store about every six months -- with silly signs such as "Hanging cheese has moved to where the bacon was." If you didn't know where the bacon was, good luck finding the cheese! Overall, it's not a pleasant shopping experience.On the positive side, they typically have lots of checkout lanes available, and I've rarely had to wait more than a few minutes to begin checkout. And they don't get unpleasant about bagging my groceries as some stores do. The one in Lawnside, for instance, seems to resent it if you won't bag your own groceries.

Saw a mouse running around in the store. This is my neighborhood ShopRite which is the closest to me. I was absolutely baffled. Never have I ever been that shook before. It was absolutely disgusting. Steer clear of the section near the dairy area.

I had high expectations for their bakery. Zallie’s bakery bc I had tried a red velvet and cheesecake slice before there and it was delicious. I ordered that one for a birthday cake and it was horrible dry dense red velvet cake with extra sweet cream cheese frosting no cheesecake. So disappointed

This place is hopping! Almost always busy. The staff and cashiers are the Best!. Jazmine my cashier was Awesome! Everyone is friendly and helpful! Get there sooner than later!

This supermarket is always a madhouse. I like it because it is a larger store and they usually have most of the items that I like to get. We usually have to make multiple trips to more than one store.Like any other ShopRite I have been in, their produce is mediocre, however, the selection in this store is always good. There was only one sale item that that they did not have in stock.In regards to accessibility, I was able to easily navigate the store with my scooter. They also have electronic scooters to loan out. The bathroom is also accessible, however, the floor is always slippery and my cane slips on it every time.Last week I used their delivery system which cost me $17.00 to have my order delivered, plus tip, and they were on time and did well. They send text updates with the time of delivery. Everything was packed well except that they put my bananas with heavy items. Other than that everything was well packed.Overall, I would go to this store more often if I lived closer.

We were in there last night and much to our surprise there was only 1 register open. We had a large order and had to use self checkout. That's okay if you've got 10-20 items. We did not.Not one manager opened up another register. We may just go to the other shop rite from now on. It's a shame too because most of the people are very nice.

The store is relatively clean and well organized. There is a lot of variety offered and their prices beat competitor's. They have drastically reduced the number of cashier's on duty in an effort to force customers into using self checkout. The parking lot can be a pain to navigate

ShopRite is a nice place to food shop .I hate the parking lot the spots are kind tight . They have a club size section for bigger families which is always a plus . Decent prices good products .the bakery is good .the staff is helpful

Easy shopping. Went early to avoid crowd. Every shelf was stocked. Always friendly associates. Best deli around!! The grab and go case at the deli is the best! Can't beat the selection. It keeps me coming back! Still the best place for Grab n Go deli
