We did catering for Thanksgiving, 2 organic rotisserie chickens quartered (8 large pieces). Didn’t know they catered, but many were picking up their orders. The chicken was very flavorful and delicious as is, the perfect amount for 6 people with leftovers. It was a great alternative to turkey, more economical and tasty. Having the chickens quartered saved a lot of work and time in a crowded kitchen at home. Will have chicken every Thanksgiving from now on.

Used to come to this market every week for 3 years. Will no longer shop here anymore. Employee at register is very nasty and unprofessional. Whoever shops here be aware of this and think twice before going to this market. I recommend Whole Foods next town over.

Absolutely horrible. First off let me start with the steak having freaking MOLD. It was black and smelt like eggs from the floor. Very disappointed and never will be buying local beef thank you for the help!

Convenient spot in town where there is no other real option except for the disgusting stop and shop down the street. Always very clean and most employees are friendly (just not very helpful). Prices are obviously exorbitant and would never do my entire grocery load here - kinda wish Whole Foods would just take it over.

King's has been a family favorite for many years. Everyone is aware of the supermarket being bought by ACME market chain. They are changing things very slowly and sneaky. Just be aware. Quality so far so good. Subtle changes and we are hoping that's it. Everyone loves the awesome staff and management already in place. They're great. Thank you for your quality and please keep your same vendors...

I left off 1 star only because I went only 1x so far....I don't live n in Cresskill but driving up to Closter and realized I needed to get some groceries before I got home... I googled and Kings came up...had a bad experience with this chain (Different store) years back and kids/ I vowed to never shop them again....however, saw some good reviews and realized the people in/around Cresskill would not keep a bad store....so, I tried. Very happy. Meats/food from deli were fresh and had good flavor (pasta salads, etc), good selections of milks, cheeses, snack bars, bread, fruits, etc. Only pricing seemed a little higher than competitors locally. Anyway, don't think you will be disappointed with offerings, quality or selection but pricing can be a $1-2 less at other markets locally.**EDIT -- sorry, had to go back for 2nd trip as pricing was bothering me from other comments ... prices here are insanely high (reduced my rating again)... $8 for a loaf of Kings bread (regular bread!), $7/3 scones, $7/lb for potato salad, $8.49/lb for chicken breast, etc... prices double+ what other supermarkets in this area charge! Unfortunately i wont be coming back here as prices are stealing you blind!

Mainly here to grab a good lunch and leave. The selection for their groceries seem a little pricey but if you are aware of Creaskill, there's a bunch of places that are pricey.

Just got married on 8.21.21 in my Aunt and Uncles back yard. I was pointed to order food and cake from Kings. First, one last thing to worry about they deliver food. Second, the online ordering was so simple. I also need to give a shout-out to Nicole in the deli section for going above and beyond for us. We truly appreciated her service! We would in a heart beat come back to this location because of her if we need anything else. We don’t even live nearby but people make all the difference! Also, the sandwiches were amazing, the fruit salad was delicious and the salads too. We give this place 5/5 stars on everything! Highly recommend!!!

The quality is amazing, and you will pay for it. Really wonderful meats, produce, prepared foods and baked goods. Great layout, easy parking. Superior choice of other products and brands. It does hit you at the cash register though. It’s acceptable value for what you’re getting, just know that you’re getting the top of the line and it will cost you.

The store is spotless. The shelves are well stocked. The staff tends to be exceptionally nice. BUT, the prices are noticeably, dramatically higher than other stores. Sale prices bring the price down to normal prices at other stores. Unfortunately, in these inflation times, a tough decision to shop at.

This is my 2nd review that i updated from my last review. Two things: one is pricey. For example, i bought a bag of Starbucks pumpkin spice coffee 11oz for $12.99, but Target sells it for $9.99. Wow!!!! 30% higher than others. The other one is that Kings' Flowers department. The guy at the Flower department seems to know how to wrap and sell the Flowers. No complaint about him. The problem comes when he is away, then someone from Kings tried to help, but NO THANKS. Those people always screwed up with wrapping paper, which makes the flowers ugly, even they often forget to put flower food so I had to make my owns food to keep my flowers fresh. KINGS should train employees to back up. Please don't let those people wrap customers' beautiful flowers. I can do better than they are wrapping flowers.

High quality products. Great deli, fish and meat depts with helpful staff. Produce very good with wide selection for a smaller store. Beautiful flower area. Desserts quite good. It's a few towns away but worth the trip.

Overpriced, but I love this market. The soups are delicious and the precooked food is great. I have lunch from kings all of the time. The staff is friendly and it's wheelchair accessible. Quality produce and meat selections. Some items I can easily find in other locations for much less, but overall I love kings.

Good selection. Produce and fish looked fresh. The only problem with Kings is that a lot of the items are 20 percent or higher more expensive than some of the other grocery stores nearby. Large white eggs, for example, are marked at 4.29 regular price; the same eggs are almost a dollar cheaper at ShopRite. I would definitely return for some specialty items, but most staples are priced too high for Kings to be my regular grocery trips.

Could their prices be any more outrageous? Very small selection and ground beef now has chewy fat pieces. Quality has gone way down. I recently tried to pick out Kirby cucumbers and they were all, every single one rotted to the point of being gelatinous. Fruit and vegetables and meat are subpar now compared to years ago. Where are the managers?

As far as grocery stores go, it’s very good! They have tons of options. Everything I went there to find was there. They are extremely stocked on the items, too. The workers are friendly and the bags for food are only a dollar.

Very over priced grocery. I bought a lb of fresh shrimp got home they were rancid. To far to drive back, tried another time for chicken salad a year later sour. I just stopped going after a 5 year hiatus. Done!!!

I will always give Kings a much better rating as my family & I have always trusted & appreciated the quality & customer attn we've always known to expect for decades.But this evening - day 2 of the stupid bag ban in NJ - I toted my bag thru the store picking up a few items to cook for a cinco de mayo dinner... after putting my SIX items on the belt&moving my tote to the area where cashiers or other front end associates would normally pack up my groceries, this one cashier simply made no effort to put my items into my tote, handed me my receipt, &continued chatting/flirting w/the adjacent young man@the next register.So I wonder Kings - NJ makes us bring our own bags now... does that absolve your cashiers to assist your customers to "bag" our groceries too? Was that somehow removed from their core responsibilities?I expect so much better (as several of your other team members helped me this evening).

Staff is always polite and happy to help. Store is clean, organized, and stocked well. Couldn't ask more from a supermarket. The goods are also worth the price. You get what you pay for after all.
