Hanami is our go to family place. The freshness of the food, the service and the ambiance make it a perfect place any day any time. The crispy beef and the fried rice are the must haves. While the sushi is so fresh you will be asking for more. The service is spectacular , they make sure you get exactly what you asked for and how you asked for it. Finally the ambiance is perfect, never to loud but never to quiet. Just perfect !! It’s BYOB so make sure you bring enough as you never want to leave. Enjoy.

We had dinner with friends on a Monday night. The place was pretty empty.The food was fresh and delicious, portions were large, and prices were reasonable.The barbecue spare ribs, steamed shrimp and vegetables, sashimi platter, chicken with vegetables, and shrimp with lobster sauce were all outstanding. Service was very good.This is a BYOB, so we got to bring one of our favorite wines.Definitely a very nice dining experience.

The quality of food at this Asian fusion restaurant is incredible! The service is excellent with a super friendly and hospitable staff. We loved our shrimp dumplings, sushi rolls, bakchoy with garlic, kung pao chicken, beef chow fun and my personal favorite chicken chow mein! Would highly recommend amazing restaurant as it is a perfect venue to come with family and friends :)

I love this restaurant! It's a shame it's not close to where I live, but for the quality of food, I don't mind making the trip. Sushi is absolutely fresh and delicious. Almost everything I've had at this restaurant turned out to be amazing. Kudos to the Sushi Chef who not only puts the effort to serve awesome tasting food (both Chinese and Japanese), but also delivers top notch presentation. I've been there many times and have never been disappointed with the food they serve. Oh, and the cocktail drinks as well. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone I know.

Delicious restaurant and my go to place for a quick dinner that is satisfying, tasty and piping hot. Love their shrimp fried rice, the Asian Flower Chicken, the scallion pancakes and so many more choices. The sushi by far is the best in the area. The array of food is just some of the dishes we had at an afternoon gathering.

The first time I came here, I went with my family. It's absolutely gorgeous, the atmosphere, the food, the service, everything is delicious. I personally recommend the Sesame Chicken and their Scallion Pancakes. The chicken is crisp, juicy, and bursting with flavor. The Scallion Pancakes are crisp, piping hot and comforting. Honestly, this food could heal wounds. Even when you order take out or pick up, it's done quickly and efficiently. The staff is always so friendly and courteous. It's a very warm and family-friendly environment. It's a great place to go, and I plan on taking my significant other there at some point. It's a great place to go for Asian-Fusion. The prices are reasonable, but I suggest you go and see for yourself.

One of the worst Chinese takeout dinners I have had, ever! For $24 we got 4 small and rubbery shrimp with a mountain of broccoli and a grand mariner sauce on the side that was inedible. Then, the Pepper Steak was a container full of onions with almost no meat for $20. I ordered crispy tofu which was not crispy and was supposed to be in a white sauce, but it seemed to be sitting in oil.Also ordered Chicken Lo Mein, and they sent it with flat pad Thai noodles.Tasteless, overpriced and not at all what we were expecting. Terrible...We called to complain and were told that no one else complains. So to anyone reading this, look at my pictures and tell me what you think.

A great local option! Lots of tasty options to the entire family - including the vegan and gluten free eaters. The menu is rich, so you can order different things to change things up. My kids had sushi, dumplings, duck filled buns, my husband had pad Thai and I had crispy fried tofu with rice, most of us enjoyed our lunch very much and will come back. Service was friendly and attentive.Updated - visited again. the seafood choices are fresh and delicious. The sushi is great. The restaurant has a nice vibe and lots of gf options!Another visit - we ordered our “usuals” and also had the special which was a yuzu seviche with salmon, avocado and mango. Great starter. We were happy to discover that the restaurant is dog friendly - we sat outside with our dog and got a water bowl :)

The owner of this restaurant is trying to get away with paying tax. He tries to get his employees to get their friends who doesn't even work there to file their taxes with this restaurant as if they do work there. If you know anyone or friends with anyone who works at this place, watch out! Because they will try to get you to file your W-2 with them, telling you that you will receive benefits in your retirement pension. Believe it or not, it worked. Our family had to pay an extra $4,000 because we were somehow convinced by an employee that works there who had close ties with the owner to file our taxes under this restaurant. And once we agreed, there is no turning back. It's us who has to pay extra tax for the tax that this owner is trying to get away from paying. Shame on this owner!

Hanami in Cresskill is a wonderful place to go! It is my family’s go-to place, we eat there and get take out all the time. The portions are very large and plenty. Their menu has a wide variety, something for everyone! Two thumbs up!

Of all the places I’ve tried, Hanami gave me the ever-lasting memory of great, fresh, and delicious food. Ranging from their sushi plates down to their entrees, all is top-tier quality. 🤤🤤🤤🤤

Really great experience. The decor inside was amazing and felt very high end! I wanted to take notes on the interior design! Service was prompt, kind, respectful, and open to questions. Food was delivered quickly and was very hot! Sushi was great! I love how they packed our spicy tuna roll so it was overflowing with fish, and did not use a lot of rice as a filler. We stumbled upon this restaurant and it was a great choice

I did take out for today (Sunday). I ordered string beans with shrimp in garlic soy sauce & miso soup. The shrimps were chewy, the dish was tasteless. I had to pour some soya sauce to make it taste better. It was very disappointing. This is the many chances I have given this restaurant but after so many years, they have made no improvement.
