Today I was at Dollar General I go to this one quite often. It has a lot of options for me. I always do the self check out. I bought $140 worth of items did self check out as I always do and one of the ladies working there stood directly behind me, leaning against the other register with her arms crossed and watched me until I was done. It was rude unnecessary and made me feel very uncomfortable like I was doing something wrong. I have never been treated that way at this store before and I did not appreciate that. Also I was there with my two year old daughter, who was having meltdowns because she was tired and I didn’t need added pressure by someone staring at me and making me feel uncomfortable. The service there in the first place isn’t great whenever I go in to buy cigarettes. I can never find anyone, but this time someone is able to watch me the entire 15 minutes it took me to check out from beginning to end. If I needed help, I would’ve asked.

I decided to check out this Dollar General since I heard decently good things about it. I went to the self checkout to ring myself up & multiple items were not ringing up the correct price. So I press the needed assistance button & waited a few minutes. No one came to assist, so I tried again & then the door next to the self check out that says “employee only” slammed shut & no one came out. After 5 minutes of waiting & no one showing up I left my items & left.

From my personal experience it’s been fine! It’s a quick run in run out not an all day store and I love how it’s right a round the corner. Of course it’s so some top notch place but it’s not a raggedy old dump either. I’ve been in a few times and it has everything I need for a quick pop in! Sometimes it’s discounted but other than that it’s decent! I’ve only had to ask an assistant for help once and they were very friendly and came out in an instant!

Absolutely terrible! Nobody in store to help u. I walked around the store for approximately 15 minutes picking up items and looking for someone to help me find something. Eventually a guy with a beard walked out of the office yapping on his cell phone. He wasn't much help. I went to check out and they had no cashier, just auto check outs, 3 machines,but only one turned on. . The machine jammed up and I had to wait about 10 minutes while myself and 2 other woman walked all over the store looking for the guy. He was nowhere to be found. Eventually he popped out of nowhere and fixed the machine. I asked how about a 10% discount for my trouble and making me wait of course he said no and wouldn't u know it, the machine again stopped working, there was no receipt paper in the machine. Hey Dollar General, hire a real adult to run your store. This store would be so easy to steal from, this store has absolutely no one on the floor to help customers or protect their merchandise from theft. Good luck!

The people working there are doing their best. It is the same few people working all the time. It's not the stores fault that Americans are lazy and don't want to work, so that leaves them short staffed. Be kind and if you hate this dollar general, go to the 2 others within a 10 mile radius.

From my experience. It was fine. Store isn’t big and there are signs in aisles. I found things ok. Came to self check out and customers were complaining and cursing and I found that to be unpleasant since the store is new and that they are still hiring to have more workers so give them grace. Treat others on how you want to be treated especially toward employees. They are just doing their job. Please be courteous to the workers. It’s a new store. So to that worker from my experience continue to work and don’t let negative people get you down. Positive vibes!

It's a Dollar General, not the Raley's flagship or a Whole Paycheck. It's 7/11 on steroids but it serves a purpose and has a decent selection of frozen foods (something missing from Wawa and Quikcheck which are the closest places to buy any food out here). The self check was working when I went there.

This store is an absolute joke so we buy some items woke up to the self checkout and it tells us we need assistance there's no assistance in the store so we waited and waited and waited and waited and waited nobody showed up so we put our items on the side walked out goodbye Dollar general everybody's going to rob the place insane.
