I have been seeing Dr. Eisen since I was 13 years old when I had my first cat, Cordelia. 35 years later and many more companion animals, I still see Dr Eisen and now Dr. Ruge. I don’t live in the area anymore, but still drive the 40 minutes to have them care for my babies. I cannot say enough, how incredibly fortunate I am that I have this crew in my life. Thank you so much Dr. Eisen for all the years. Dr. Ruge, thank you for being the biggest cheerleader for my Beanie girl, you were mine and Beanies constant during her battle with cancer. Thank you Dr. Wolf for coming in for emergency surgeries.Thank you to Jess, Karen, Amanda and Eric. Beanie loved you all so much! Also Sherma, Joy, and Brooke for always getting me in last minute. Thank you for the kind words and support during all my animal crises, and the tears shed together. You guys are wonderful! I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

My first visit was like we were old friends. They did not waste my money doing unnecessary things. Dr's and staff were beyond great. If you want someone who cares about your pet, and not how much money they can make off you,,,this is the place to go !

Dr. Eisen was our vet for our first dog over ten years ago, and we followed her over to cream ridge animal clinic because she is so great. Dr. Ruge is now my dogs main vet there and is equally as wonderful and caring. She’s extremely knowledgeable as well. All the staff, techs, and doctors are so kind and amazing there. Always so welcoming and you can tell they really care about your animals. We’ve never had any issues with them, they’re great!

Absolutely love Dr. Eisen after having to rush my dog to North Star and getting a diagnosis of terminal cancer, Dr Eisen and told me to bring her and she would check her out. Dr. Eisen put together a treatment plan together of pain meds and a special Chinese Herb and told me to let her live her best , it’s been over and year and my dog is doing great . Dr Eisen and the staff is amazing. They all care about your pets like it’s the own fur babies they all go over the top to make sure they have the best care they can receive. I highly recommend them .

I love Dr. Eisen and the staff at Cream Ridge Animal Clinic. My dogs are treated as if they were theirs. They know my dog's habits, likes and dislikes and conduct the visit accordingly. I also love that I rarely have to wait. Appointments are not scheduled on top of each other so it is easy to get in, be seen and get out.

Our cats have been well taken care of by Dr. Eisen & staff. When we lost 2 cats at young ages they were caring & compassionate. Another cat of ours has been sickly this year & Dr. Eisen and staff have been caring for him as if he was their pet. They do only necessary testing & allow the owner to make the decision of what care should be done on their pet w/o making them feel guilty should they need to make that final decision. They truly care about your pet.

When places like North Star gave us no hope and put an astronomical price tag on trying to even just diagnose my dog, the vet here did one simple test, found the problem, and my sweet puppy was saved! Awesome awesome awesome vet. So thankful for them.

I only wish we still lived closer to Dr EisenI may still return - a 2 hour drive. I could never find another caring wonderful vet like her. Believe me, we've tried.You will be very pleased to trust your animals care to Dr Eisen.I've seen her go above and beyond with all her patients.When it came to the end of my babies life I'm glad he was in her care. He passed with love and dignity.

This veterinary team is excellent...truly top notch. We have been taking our cats there for a number of years and this week had an emergency which they handled professionally and with true empathy for our cat Bernie. Bernie had a bad infection and wasn't eating or drinking and their treatment was so practical...longer term antibiotics applied directly, fluids and powder to manage bleeding in his ear. The treatment was performed quickly with very little discomfort to Bernie and we were home within an hour. Bernie is now recovering and we have th an optimistic expectation on his recovery. I have had animals for over 50 years. I have found Dr. Eisen, to be the most compassionate, forthright, and conservatively treating vets that I have ever encountered. Also, I can't speak highly enough about her staff. My dog runs into the clinic to see them, no fear.

Dr Barbara Eisen is the best vet ever. She has been my vet since she opened this clinic. She has known my kids, all my cats, dogs, rabbits, etc. She and her staff have been amazing through some of the most difficult pet situations. My animals seem to live forever. I usually attribute that to fasting and neglect. Lol. Kids don't always feed the pets when they should. But I really know it's the care she gets at this clinic.I had a German Shepard pup who was given 2 years to live at another vet. I can't remember what her diagnosis was but her growth was stunted. She never grew into her ears it paws. After taking her to Dr Eisen she ended up living to be almost 6. Shortly after getting this pup I found a cat in Thanksgiving in 1989.We named her Tripod. She had 4 legs, one broken in 3 places. After taking her to 3-4 docs to try and save the leg, (It was a 2 month old injury), Dr Eisen convinced me she'd amputate the leg and Tripod would be running around in 2 days like it never happened. She was wrong, it only took a day. The next day Tripod was running around, playing tag with Max and Tony (our cats we already had) which became one of her favorite activities. She was at least 3 when I found her and I had her for 18 years. It was after that surgery I knew Dr.E would always be our vet.Dr. E was our Golden, Corky's, vet his whole life, almost 17 years. This was at a time a Golden's life expectancy was 8-10 years. My brother owned him for the first 6 years of his life. We got him when my daughter was 2. He had to be put down when she was in high school. The whole office was with us through the whole process. To say it was a really hard day is an understatement.At that time, Tripod had been one of their oldest cat patient and Corky had been one of their oldest dog patients. Or maybe they were the oldest cat and dog she had been seeing their whole lives up to that point. Something like that. ???My daughter found a stray when she was 5. Dr.E treated my daughter's cat Cuddles, who was really a hunter and killer of birds, squirrels and rodents, not so cuddly. So he was always having an injury of some kind. He even climbed a tree to 40 feet in a snowstorm and was checked out by her 5 days later when we finally found him. He eventually ingested a poisoned animal after hurricane Sandy and sadly passed away from that but she gave him a comfortable life for almost another year. He lived to see my daughter off to college. That was his job, to be her companion. She no longer needed him. The week she was leaving he curled up in her blanket under her desk and went to sleep for the last time. He was at least 16 years old. Had he not been poisoned he would have lived longer than Tripod (21+). He was solid muscle. Strong, fast, big, and healthyCurrently I have a 16 year old Silky Terrier. Dr.E has been her only vet until recently when she referred us to a specialist for a complicated eye issue. Now it's being managed by Dr.E. again. I also have 2 Schnauzer rescues, unsure of age, but 1 is a senior for sure. They are also doing great under Dr.E's care.I worry about Dr.Eisen. she puts her patients before herself too often. But my family loves her for it. We travel from Bayville to Cream Ridge to see her as often as necessary. That's a ways. There's many vets in between. We will see her until she retires, IF EVER!Her office staff is friendly, knowledgeable, wonderful. We love them all too. This is the longest review I've ever written or read so you can tell how dedicated and passionate I am about this doctor, office and staff. We've also had a number of years involved in 4-H and she took in some of our bunnies with birth defects.They'll always let you know your options when dealing with a sick or healthy pet. They'll never lead you wrong. It's not about the money for them. It's about the care. The money they make is a side effect of the awesome care the deliver. Love you Dr. Eisen and team.
