I bought interior paint for one of my rooms and I wanted to return since I didn't like the color. Went to customer service and I was told Home depot does not return paint. I went to check with the person at paint counter to see if he could help me in anyway. He(Bobby) at paint counter was super nice and generous and despite the fact that home depot does not return paint, he went out of his way to change colors for me. Would like to thank him for helping me. Thanks Bobby!

I like using this Home Depot for buy things because the prices are reasonable however, I will never, and I repeat, ever use the contractors that they provide for home improvement projects. Originally wanted to storm doors installed my house. However, the contractor that they use ended up messing up my framework for my doors when I called the contractor to come and rectify his employee’s mistake he ended up taking pictures and saying that Home Depot is going to call me so I can pay more money despite him messing up my project.

Review of Home Depot Colonia NJ Window Purchase and installation. Needed to replace home windows, used home depot website to schedule in home vist/consultation. Was very easy to do. On the date of appt. Consultant showed up on time, wore shoe covers and we discussed options, measurements and quote provided. I paid deposit. 7-10 days later installations called me and sent over a Project Manager to re-measure the windows to verify before manufacturing, again was on time and wore shoe covers. 2-3 weeks later recieved a call from Home Depot with anticipated install date, good communication. On install date, crew showed up, verified all window measurements against what they had on truck for my job and then proceeded when the windows were verified. I was suprised that 99% of the replacement was done from outside the home, very little disturbance inside in home. I mean like the only thing they needed to do was to caulk around the new windows inside and then clean the windows. Outside the windows had gaps sealed with insulation and all aluminum trim around windows was replaced with new and caulked. 2 days after install the Project Manager from home depot called me and i finalized payment. VERY EASY process, well communicated and great installation.

After visiting a few other places looking for a variety of items, I should've just made that 1 visit to Home Depot!!! I found everything and MORE that I was looking for. Looks like I'll be making a lot more visits here!! Thank you to the extremely helpful and kind gentleman that assisted me.

Don't come to this location if you need lumber cut. Several people, including myself, waited an hour and some possibly longer for no one to come, even after customer service had been notified, and they intercomed associates several times. Everyone in line ended up leaving. Aside from lumber, this location is fine.

I went to return paint bc they gave me exterior paint instead of interior paint. The woman at customer service was nasty and rude then proceeded to tells me that's its my fault bc I didn't check what it said bf I bought the paint. You would think that u didn't have to check if they were doing their job instead of telling me about his divorce!!

I had the displease of Associate Arun, a old, insulting Indian man totally insensitive to people with physical disabilities. He offered no assistance but did make a unacceptable comment at the loss of two fingers on my hand.He should fired already but will not as he is a protected race.

I was shopping for paint when I Met a Pleasant, knowledgeable Associate Arun. Arun provided me with the correct pain which needed to be mixed he recommended the correct products I needed for the project. He was so knowledgeable about the Behr premium and the granite grip we bought them both. Arun is a professional that clearly cares about making customers happy. Ask for Arun in the paint Department!!!!

Poor service I was waiting for almost a 1 hour to load 45 bags concrete that’s wasting time And then end i load all those bags by myself, in Oh my truck because no one helped me with a forklift to load or take outside

I wasted two hours looking for three products. I needed assistance from an associate to locate and buy the correct item. Most of those two hours I spent waiting for help. They had to be paged several times. Some of them had to call other coworkers because they were clueless about whether or not they had the item or where to find it. This has been my experience with every home Depot I have ever visited. Male customers seem to have an easier time getting someone to pay attention. However, when it comes to women they make sure they avoid you and walk away from you with some lame excuse. Now I understand why older grown men take on this part time jobs. They are trying to get away from their nagging wives, and they get to hang out with their counterparts at "the shop". The only thing missing is the cooler and the beer. I have seen them hanging in groups of 4 and 5. The minute they spot me raising my hand they dispersed like a bunch of roaches when the lights are turned on.

Horrible customer service. I tried to purchase a $2000 plus tool. There was an Home Depot online special. If you buy one tool you get the second free. Both were in stock. Store policy says Home Depot online is different and they have to have the tool mailed. Fine. I said I would be making the purchase elsewhere. The manager said she didn’t care as it does not affect the store.I can purchase the tool online for $350 less than they sell it. I like to support local businesses. She doesn’t realize that if enough people buy online from other retailers. The store looses and then her hours get cut. I guess that’s the mentality of people who work for $15 an hour.Definitely will not be shopping this store again.

As a contractor im in home depots every day. I'm more disappointed than pleased by the visit usually. But this location has a Supervisor by the name of Irene that prob puts most managers in any company to shame. I've seen her helping customers, working register, collecting carts. She may be one of the best supers I've ever seen anywhere.

I love coming to this Home Depot. Everyone from all the departments have always been helpful and friendly. I've had the chance to work with Yolanda for a couple of home projects and she has been very knowledgeable and helped me with all my questions and if she is not sure about something, she will find the right person to get me the correct answers. She always makes sure I leave the store with everything I need. It's rare to find staff in other HD that are both friendly AND helpful at the same time and even more rare if the help comes from a woman.It's nice to be around a woman that empowers other women in an environment "dominated" by men.Thank you Yolanda for all your help.You are a great asset to any store!

Night shift, Nick L. In colonia was very helpful. He knew what he was doing and went above and beyond to help us on February 14. He was able to listen and also give us advice with choosing the best paint for my dining room. He was a funny guy and made our day better. Left with a sample and went back the next day when Nick was on his shift to purchase the gallon of paint. Thanks

ONE STAR IF POSSIBLE. On behalf of my family, I would like effective action to be taken for the actions of their employee Walter, I asked for his last name but was not provided it. He is a cashier and the store manager is Greg (advised he would submit a claim to HR and review the video footage and based off corporate response he will take the necessary action. However I would like an update on the outcome of this incident and an apology letter from corporate. I can describe the incident in full detail but it may not fit in this textbox, but Walter overall disrespected my father and degraded him in front of everyone. Not only this but he first unloaded our cart without asking us so we had to go get all the material we were going to buy which is extremely heavy again which we didnt mind to do but Walter instigated and started shouted at my father and said slurs for no reason. We have been loyal customer here at this home depot for 18-years and this is how we get treated. Corporate can review the video footage of this location from 7:00pm to 8:00pm on August 6th 2023. End of day we still purchased the material and want an apology for the behavior we faced. This is not how customers should be treated especially at a location they have been going to for years and UNPROVOKED.

First my mother dealt with racism trying to buy paint. Then I come to buy keys and told I can’t get them made unless I’m willing to wait yet he walked away and did not help. Spoke to the manager and he did nothing to help nor did he speak to the employee who refused to make my keys. This establishment is being poorly run. I ask for help no one knows where to direct me I end up finding it myself. The level of service is borderline disrespectful I would not recommend coming to location if you can AVOID IT.
