This is a nice grocery store that offers so much variety of produce, cheese counter, seafood section, foods cooked right on premise to take home or back to work.The staff were all welcoming and very friendly. I will be back and recommend this store. Parking was very doable, too.

Prices are higher here than other nearby grocery stores.They are frequently out of stock of common food items, like vegetables, pasta, exc.The store card that you can get and use at check out to apply any discounts usually discounts me a total of a few cents on a hundred dollar purchase.On three separate occasions, the milk I bought from here expired a whole week before the labeled expiration date, which I have never seen from any other milk purchase anywhere else. I believe they leave milk out too long before placing it in the freezer, or something was wrong with their freezers.

Why was the entirety of the deli staff on lunch brek at the same time - DURING LUNCH???My husband could not get the coldcuts I wanted because he was ignored by the staff when he tried to order, and when he left in disgust, all of them were outside eating lunch.This place wants to close.

It's a smaller grocery store with general grocery fare, just not as much variety as you would find in a bigger stores. Prices are pretty mid to high, but their sales also reflect the shop rite sales, so you'll always manage to find savings for things you need.

Convenient ...but there is a high price tag to pay for that.I've had food poisoning twice from the produce section. I had to report rotten veggies (broccoli, avocados, mangoes, etc). I once brought home a bag of lettuce that was expired by 10 days. Some produce have no expiration dates. Now I spend more time than I have trying to locate expiration dates. The staff is cool and sweet. But I have to wait...and wait until I see a staff person that can help me reach products that are way up high, such as condiments, oat milk, sodas. Not a short people friendly set up (if you are 5' 2" like me.

Wide variety and selection and the cost has gone way down since foodtown. Staff friendly and helpful. Even hard to find things are abundant. A hidden gem.

The prices here are on the higher side but overall this is a nicely maintained store. The store itself is clean, great selection of prepared foods, baked goods, cheese and meats. It doesn’t have as wide of a selection of a larger chain but the quality is good.

Thought I found the Perfect Store . Was on a Quest for Prime Hydration Drink for my son . When I went there for the first time there was plenty and priced great . One week later and no Prime to be found anywhere in the store . When I asked an employee when will they restock , the employee had no clue what I was talking about

Nothing special but a grocery, neither the collection or prices. Staff was not that attentive, did not help me with enrolling for store card nor she used the store card..also did not help or assist the lady infront of me with arranging her items in the bag...could be better experience next time. Well, at the end, just before I walk out I heard a Thank you from other staff member standing at self checkout....so self checkout next time ...

Small store but have all all the stuff I needed.. The deli counter Was a great experience because the girl listened to me how I wanted my meat cut, It was perfect! And the woman was so so kind. Nailed it on the head!!

In spite of their rebranding from Shop Rite to Fresh Grocer, they are still over priced. They are a smaller local store so this really isn't a surprise. Their own brand, Bowl & Basket, is cheaper but is inferior in quality. Like every Shop Rite I've been in, their baked goods are also poor quality. On the positive side they are conveniently located. The staff is always friendly. Unfortunately, in the morning and at othet times there are fewew (sometimes no) tellers so you have to use the self check out. Two and a half stars is probably a fair rating.

I absolutely LOVE the Fresh Grocer! All the benefits of a smaller more personal store, great staff, second to none made in store deli meats, and all this with reasonable prices! Best ground meat anywhere!

Love this place. Its never packed and they have everything. Everything is delicious at the bakery. The only disappointment i have experienced there was their broccoli cheddar soup gave me food poisoning.

Went to the store on 12/30/2021. This is a nice supermarket that has everything you need. Store had many employees available and it was quick to check out. Also, great meat department, bakery, deli, seafood and freshly made sushi. There was always employee available to ask questions or if you needed help. Great job 👍.

Great place if you just need to run in for a quick item or two. Most of the staff is friendly, but all are helpful. Prices vary but like most supermarkets, they're about the same.

The store is convenient enough that I shop there occasionally. The one thing that remains is they tend to leave expired items on their shelves. I was going to buy some relatively pricey Italian grated cheese on March 28 2023. I checked the expiration date and it was Feb 10 2023. This is about the fifth time it’s happened with various items over the past year. Who’s running this store?

Shout out to Trisran. He was the only one working the register this morning, there were several people in line, he helped everyone with a smile on his face. He was kind, courteous and very attentive to everyone. This young man deserves recognition and a raise. The Fresh Grocer should be very proud to have Tristan as an employee.

I had the greatest experience in the deli today. I normally hate waiting in the deli, but I had a super friendly lady take my order and told me to shopping and can back when I was done shopping....holy moly....I loved it! Place is so much better with the new make over.....

I've been visiting this supermarket from it's food town days. I have to say I am very pleased with the conversion to the fresh grocer. I live around the block and noticed many of the items for sale are shoprite brand and have the same price...especially the front page deals. I do caution that other than the front page deals being usually the same, many items are more money then shoprite. This is expected though considering the convenience of this neighborhood supermarket. Also selection if items is obviously smaller. Overall, a great local supermarket with competitive prices in general.

Smaller supermarket formerly Foodtown. Convenient location, very clean. one of the best markets in the area.Fantastic produce department, with an above average organic selection. Meat and seafood exceeded my expectations. Good prices mostly.Bakery and deli sections were above average. Prepared foods are also quite good.Plenty of free parking. Very well maintained store. Adequately staffed, pleasure to shop at.

Fantastic store. Totally family friendly with a wonderful and helpful staff. It's great to find a grocery store that is not over packed every day. The closing of so many stores recently is horrible and forcing people to go to the no name stores that sell their own products and limit your choices. I wish more Food towns like Colonia's would open in the closed and now abandoned stores. They are very much needed.

It is a good supermarket, obviously owned by the ShopRite company, as it carries all good from SR and even its customer card works there. Easy parking. Not too big, standard price and good meat.

Very nice place to shop. Friendly staff, some would argue prices are a little higher than the previous food town. Although being that many organic options are made available it's truly for the best. Need to redo the exterior further. Although it's a good atmosphere overall

It's still a great place for quality food. The prices are still a little high on some grocery items. The deli and prepared food is great and worth the money.They had everything I needed and more. They are still privately owned by Nicholas Markets but are getting supplies from Wakefern which is ShopRite.

I like this store and almost always when I visit this store the experience is a good one. I realize that they employ very young cashiers and clerks at this store but usually they are friendly and cordial. The deli department rocks! Last night I ran into the store at about 9 p.m. to pick up just a few items. I stopped at the Customer Service counter to purchase something. Oh my gosh the Customer Service clerk named Sam (Samantha) made me feel like I was inconveniencing her life!! She was so rude to me yelling from outside the Customer Service counter if she could help me and then huffing and puffing because I wanted to make a purchase. She rushed through the purchase I made and then slammed the register drawer shut. I said Thank you but RUDE Sam said nothing to me! Then a few minutes later Sam is hanging out in one of the aisles talking and joking around with one of the floor clerks! Really?? And if that wasn't enough, Sam was walking around the store talking to just about EVERY other employee in the store. How rude is that that a little while earlier she couldn't even say Thank you to me or Have a nice evening. Geez Very very RUDE Sam.....grow up

I love this store. Everyone is always helpful if you ask. The meat selection is the best in the area. They carry a wide variety of pretty much everything but personal products, shampoo,conditioner, etc.I come here several times a week.Has coffee station, bakery,Deli,and meat department with great staff!
