Elaine at Groomingdales is awesome. I take all seven of my pups to her and have never had any issues. Unlike most groomers she listens to how you want your dog groomed. My dogs always come home smelling so good and fresh. The cuts are always perfect. I highly recommend Elaine. 🐾🐾

My 1st & only time at this groomer who's grooming landed my 10 LB dog in the vet for ruptured eye vessels in both eyes due to too much pressure applied around the neck. I will never forgive myself for leaving my dog with this woman. Although she returned my money and paid the vet bill, my dog has long lasting effects from this neck trauma. She now suffers regularly from neck issues which land her at the vet several times, and give her extreme pain, to the point she can't move her neck or walk without crying. I wish I could go back and not believe the good reviews I read before taking my dog to Groomingdales. This groomer may be good with large breed dogs but clearly doesn't know how to handle small breed dogs. She either did this with her own hands to my dog, or left her unattended on the noose. My dog has never before or after had any problems being groomed and her old and new groomer both tell me she is very calm and doesn't struggle when getting groomed. Please, please keep your dogs away from this groomer

First time using this groomer and I couldn't be any happier with the results. I dropped off two poodle mix doggies. It had been a while since they were groomed professionally and I hadn't been keeping up myself with the brushing so there were matts. The groomer did not completely shave them down like I thought would need to be done so I'm very happy about that. The owner was professional and friendly and my two fur babies look fantastic for the holidays. Let me add that it didn't seem like they were there long at all so the groomer was efficient with her time as well. I will definitely be going back there.

Not only does the woman here have a nasty attitude, she is also not to be trusted. Ive given several chances and my dog always comes back itchy, with bloody paws because of nail trims (yes she will let your dog come home with bloody paws) and most recently, my dog brought home fleas. What a nightmare to treat. Ive seen her let the cat in there smack my dog in the face and be all in his face hissing at him and swatting at him and she says nothing. Very unprofessional. Never again.

I really love this groomer. She is kind and you can really tell she loves animals. She takes the time to make them comfortable and does what there animal can tolerate. Her place is peaceful and she also ensures to groom dogs and cats during completely septate time slots to reduce stress. Unfortunately she decided what was best for my cat was to be seen by a vet for sedation to ensure his mats could be removed without further stress to him (and her) . She is a really great groomer and I highly recommend.

Terrible experience , didn’t do what I requested for my dog . Chopped off his beautiful hair on his entire body . She also made a few of his nails bleed. Never going back . Just be careful. On top of all that this place smells so bad.

I take my precious pup there every month since he was 5 months old. I always felt comfortable and never had any complaints. I tell Elaine what I want done about my pup's hair and never had any problems. Highly recommend.

Super cute little local groomers run by a very sweet and caring lady. I've gone here several times to get my wily persian cat groomed and pampered, and she's done an excellent job every time. It feels very personal and down to earth, and she makes sure to keep in contact of any complications, delays, etc.And if it means anything, she seems very passionate about animals, so your pet is in safe hands!

I was nervous about bringing my dog to get groomed here since it was her first time. The groomer did exactly what I wanted for my dog and she looked amazing. This is my new spot to bring my dog!
