This place looks old school, fun & nostalgic!!it brings with it lots of childhood memories, no matter where you are from , I guess we all grew up loving ice cream as children and I bet we all have at least one local street corner ice cream shop which we remember from our childhood days that makes us smile when we think of the uncomplicated beautiful times spent. Well Colonia Dairy Maid reminds me of just that, modest , pocket-friendly , huge in portion yet yum!! They serve very creamy ice creams in loaded varieties of flavors , from the popular ones to seasonal fruits, also quirky ones as pina- coladas. You get it in cups cones sundaes & floats!! This was my first time with my frds who are regulars, so they ordered their favorites, the orange pineapple was outa world, it was indeed refreshing, & pinacolada wasnt as great though as per my taste bud, the pineapple was very fruity & fresh, Black rasberry was loaded in flavor too. I ordered a butter crunch, it was buttery creamy & crunch from the caramel made it stand out even more, the sea-salty touch from the caramel perfectly balanced the sweetness of the butter..& omg their portion is HUGE, a small cup has four scoops & their smallest size is “Dixie” which is quite big I feel😂But how much Ice cream is more ? LolA great hangout spot & is opened till 10.30 pm on a summer night, people usually come for a night binge & this place could be very busy, but servers are quick & polite!! There are benches on the backside where you can hangout & enjoy your creamy scoops while chitchatting !! Overall an amazing place & I definitely recommend!! ALSO DO REMEMBER ITS A CASH ONLY place*****

I had an awful experience there, ice had something dried things with tail , it was gray and white, my daughter eaten a bit and found weird thing, when I complained to the staff they were so rude and kept on saying that it is something against food code and it’s some topping from an other ice cream. She did not listen my concern and kept on saying get your refund or I can make a fresh one, that ice cream can cause a medical condition to my child but no one cares…… highly irresponsible and rude staff. I would not recommend anyone to shop there for kids, not safe and clean to eat

I visited on a weekend and it is usually very crowded in the late evening hours and so you have to rush to select your flavor.Overall, there were really nice flavors and I loved Orange Pineapple. The quantity is great but go for smaller portions if you don’t want too much.It’s a CASH ONLY place so don’t forget to carry cash!

So it was my first time coming and wish I was welcomed more . I needed time to look around and kept getting rushed by the girls behind the counter . The one girl kept rushing me I’m not familiar with menu so I need time to see as I have allergies . I made sure to not be in the way so other customers could look so I don’t understand what the rush was . Kids enjoyed the icecream though ! Was delicious ! I had the strawberry cheesecake ! Creamy ! Icecream deff yummy however I didn’t like the slush! It had a weird taste . I love all the topping offers ! And good pricing low star rate for service I received other then that icecream good

Very busy ice cream shop that is open year-round. There are so many choices of hard and soft ice cream, toppings, Italian ices as well as cones and bowls. The shop is clean and the lighting is very bright. There are many cup or cone size choices. While the ice cream choices were eye appealing, the flavor was very underwhelming, milky not creamy and almost tasted sour. Counter staff is friendly and efficient. They also provide wet wipe packets on the counter, to help with sticky fingers. Seemingly overpriced, with strange pricing amounts for some sizes. Payment is CASH ONLY. Parking lot is provided along with picnic tables under shady trees in the back area during warm weather.

This place has been here for many many years. Reminiscent of ice cream stores from the 80s and 90s and funnily enough near a Carvel about a mile down the same highway.Ice cream is creamy and rich in favor. Lots of flavor options and ways to have the ice cream from cones to cups to milkshakes to floats and sundaes as well.Staff was friendly. Place can get very busy as wellWill visit again

Best ice cream in town. I go there regularly and they have so many flavors and mostly all of them tastes so good. They have varieties of soft serve and also they have brownie sundaes and ice cream cakes which are nice too. If you are near by then I would definitely recommend goong there to try your favorite flavor. I’m sure that you’ll love it. And in hot summer days you’ll definitely have to wait in line to grab your favorite flavor.

Good place for ice cream. Very busy during summer. Cash only and crowds are long. They have their own parking lot and park benches. Well lit and they are opened year round. They sell soft and hard ice cream, cakes, Italian ices and everything to tempt you to go off your diet and be a kid again. Update: open for bussiness. Best to goo off hours.

Their ice cream is the best. So many flavors and toppings to choose from. The girls are friendly and work fast. It is always a great experience. The service is quicker when you write your order on paper and hand it to them. Thank you for the excellent service and great ice cream. I will always return.

One of the best ice-cream place run by school children. Amazing refreshing taste in so many different options and served in verity of style. Serve in cone, cup and carrying box. Also famous for ice-cream cack. They have lots of options in milkshake with ice-cream 🍦 and softy serve too. Due to summer start their timing extand. As usual delicious, great price and 40 flavor. Have good parking 🅿 spots. Always busy so come with mindset to wait in queue.

We enjoyed it very much. The line was somewhat long but the ladies were organized and they took order fast. The portions are large and tasty. They have some benches in the back for customers to sit down and enjoy the ice cream.The only downsides are:No visible menus from outside. You really need to get in a way of people and look through the glass to see what are the choices - they are written on the boards that are inside.Cash only - I never carry cash with me. Luckily I had some $$ left in car - we almost turned around thinking we didn’t have enough. Square would solve it in 2 min.

This was an accidental find when we had just moved in the area in 2019. But since then, this is the only place I want to go for ice cream. They have variety of flavors. I simply love Devil’s food cake as seen in picture. I also recently tried their pineapple flavor which was also delicious. My hubby loves Mudpie

Ice cream Italian ice and more what can go wrong wants you walk through the door. Staff is super friendly always a pleasant visit. And ice cream is in abundance. Would recommend to bring a group to enjoy and socialize will eating licking scooping your favorite flavor of ice cream or Italian ice.

A family favorite. Every time I visit the area this is our go to for post-dinner deliciousness. Too many flavors to try and all the ones I have tried are incredible ( strawberry cheesecake still #1 though! ). Super quick service even with lines out the door. Highly recommend!

The best ice cream place near and far! A must go to if you are an ice cream lover like me. There's a good reason they've been here for 54 years so find out why. The line is always long here during the warmer months so expect to wait, but it is well worth the wait. They don't accept credit so make sure to bring cash.

Went this afternoon and was pretty busy, but I was helped really quickly. The ladies there were super sweet and quick and did not have issues with answering my questions. Ice cream was delicious and the portions are very generous for the price. Will be going back and recommend to any ice cream lovers (note that they are cash only)!
