Cologne Animal Hospital has been there for us through decades of excellent routine care, emergencies, and caring advice. They are like family. We trust our beloved pets’ health care to them because they are not only top notch medical professionals, but they also are compassionate, understanding people who take families’ needs and individual circumstances into account. They are real, trustworthy, and make even a nerve wracking situation a shared and often laugh-filled experience. Highly recommend!!!

My 9 year old cat has diabetes.I give her insulin injection 2 times a day.I suspected she was bleeding from a urinary tract infection or hematuria. I contacted this facility and the receptionist was quick to respond "this is an emergency ,we need to get get in today."They gave me a an appointment later that day. X rays were ordered,injections to help her pain&get rid of her infection.Her urinalysis was sent out for specified results.This us a caring,devoted team.The Vet explained all.his treatment planned. He later called me to give results of her specimen.Thorough & kind...excellent concerned techs&staff.Highly impressed .!!!

Very caring. Staff doesn't wisk away my dogs leaving me or my furbabies with anxiety. They allow me to be part of the treatment plan. They treat my dogs like they are my family which does set them apart from other doggy doctors. I am a nurse and I recognize good health care quality when I see it. My two dogs are strongly bonded to each other. If one has an appointment, the other one is welcome in the exam room for support. I've never seen that anywhere else. BTW, their treatment for ear infections is top notch!

Coming from out of town we brought in our Bulldog on a last minute apt for an infected hang claw removal and Dr. Longstreet was awesome. All the staff were accommodating and very courteous. Knocked out his Vaccines as well. Great price and Great Service. Will be recommending to family and friends in the area.

We brought our Doberman Thursday to put em down. Me...I wasnt sure if he was sick.. Dr Hagen was in looked listen and talked in a manner I knew it was time for my sweet 11yo dog. It broke and my husbands heart. He was our world our best friend our child. THEY WERE SO KIND! DR HAGEN THANK YOU!!!! you made me not feel guilty or bad or feel like I did something wrong. You empathized you were so compassionate and kind, I love all of you for that. The techs the FD, we called the VET on Jimme Leeds Rd bc we brought our brand new pup there to get spayed in Nov, they wanted close to $500 to kill our own dog...and f9r US take care of his burial bc that's what we were doing already! How dare they take advantage of people's broken hearts. Cologne is wonderful so is Dr Hagen- Kelsey & Mike & our Obie the Dobie

Very frank . It can appear that he lacks compassion in his tone . However his actions in the assessment of our cat, Princess, as well as communicating every finding to us was much more appreciated. Even when our cat was taken out of our sight to obtain blood work, he continued to assess and report back to us. He came in the room quite a bit to let us know of any additional findings he encountered, outside of our view . He's honest . If bedside manner isn't the upmost important factor in your veterinarian then he's for you . If it is important for you then consider finding a new vet. This is my daughter's vet and I accompanied her on the visit . For me personally, both qualities are equally important. Ultimately, it's her decision . The front desk staff is sooo nice . They really love every pet patient they see . They are so caring. They really care . They ask questions . I just can't say enough about them. They call to follow up to .

I have been bringing my dog and cats here for over 6 years. Dr. Hagan and all the staff have always been understanding and helpful. My dog has had a lot of skin issues and allergies, so there was a lot of medications and changes that we had to do & Dr. Hagan always went above and beyond to explain everything to us. Same with any time we brought in our cats for any issues.

In my 62 yrs of owning, rescuing & breeding Yorkies, I have never met a Vet, whom I have been as pleased to work with as Dr Hagan. He listened & respected my opinions. He was pleased 2 learn my dogs r Bile Acid tested, as 40 to 50% of Yorkies carry for liver shunt. We talked about my thoughts on vaccinations & he agreed with my protocol & agreed with my feeding raw diet, after asking me questions regarding my process to c if they were receiving everything they needed. I brought my 7 yr old AKC Champion Mikey in to c him, following an Emergency Hosp visit in which after testing, his dx was a liver infection. He went home on medication & a friend whom has received 3 of my pups over many yrs had always told me how she refuses to c any other vet. Altho Mikey had been bile acid tested as a baby & again before he sired a litter & his numbers were good l, Dr Hagan tested him again as he is now 7 yrs old. Again, his numbers remain the same numbers. He then suspected the infection was from an infection in a few of his teeth. We talked about herbal remedies can heal & protect the liver. We will be going back for a dental & removal of several teeth. I have 4 dogs so they will all b seeing Dr Hagan. In addition, I am in awe of the knowledge, friendliness & efficiency of his staff. I look forward to our next appt & Mikey’s condition being cured. Mikey is our everything. A special little guy to us & others who have received his pups who r just as beautiful & healthy as he. I have recommended Dr Hagan & his exceptional staff to others, as people look to me for advice on a good vet. I recommend Dr Hagan as a GREAT Vet.

We love Dr. Hagan. I've been taking my two dogs here for years. We actually moved out of the area, and I still bring my dog here (one of my dogs passed away in April 2019). The front desk is very kind and caring. Dr. Hagan is very well-versed and caring. Very pragmatic. I like and respect him as a veterinarian very much. My sister and my parents both bring their dogs here as well. They were very exceptional in continuing care for patients during the pandemic. Great vet. Highly recommend. I have both a senior pet and an adult rescue. They are great with both dogs!

Dr. Hagan and the entire staff are absolutely amazing! They become part of your family and treat all your pet's as if they were their own.... with love! Never, ever running unnecessary tests, always reasonable and when you need immediate treatment, they find a way! Almost 20yrs, many pets, myself and others in our family and they have always treated us all equally awesome! Trust them with my fur babies any day!!! Doctor Hagan and the entire staff at Cologne Animal Hospital is the most loving and caring group of people. From the friendly greeting on the phone and in the office to the thorough exams and discussion for care or treatment of your fur baby, and the follow up phone calls to check on your fur baby, you always feel the passion and being part of a family.We have always taken our babes to Cologne (over 30 years), and always will. Those I have recommended they give Doc and the staff a try have been happy and continue to take their babes for maintaining positive health checkups.

I can’t say enough good things about this office. Our family has 3 cats and a dog and with each they have treated us with care, concern and love unsurpassed. I’ve spent most of my life around horses, dogs and cats and have had plenty of interaction with vets for both small and large animals. I wouldn’t trust my cats and dogs with anyone but Dr. Hagen and his staff. From the girls at the front desk to the vet tech team and finally to Dr. Hagen and his associate vets, you will not find a group of individuals that have more passion, love and knowledge for their patients anywhere. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my canine and feline family members.

As always, my visit to Cologne Animal Hospital was pleasant. The staff is friendly and helpful. I brought my cat, KitKat, in to see Dr. Hagan when she stopped eating. He took his time to figure out the problem, and ordered blood work to make sure of KitKat's overall health. I would recommend anyone to go to Cologne AH with their pet.

The staff are really nice and go out of there way to answer any questions that you may have. Dr Hagen is so nice. Just had my dog there she has been sick and Dr Hagen got her better very quickly. He talks to you and explains everything making sure you understand what is going on. Very happy with Cologne Animal Hospital.

You will not find another vet besides Dr Haggan and his staff that will treat your pet as of it was their own beloved pet. They have always gone above and beyond for me and my dogs. There are really just no words that can explain how caring him and his staff are and will do anything in their power to help you. I cannot recommend Cologne Animal Hospital enough. You will not be disappointed giving this office a try. If you are a breeder, this office will not disappoint. I’ve always been hesitant trying a new vets office, but only after a year of using them, I can’t imagine not having Dr Haggan and his staff.

I live in North Carolina but I am staying in New Jersey for the next couple of months. My yellow lab was due for her shots and I didn't know who to take her to. My daughter recommended Colonge Animal Hospital. When I called, the receptionist was very understanding and pleasant. She got me an appointment and when I arrived, I was surprised how nice everyone was to me. I highly recommend Colonge Animal Hospital and if I ever need an excellent vet while I'm in New Jersey, I'll call Colonge Animal Hospital.

The called with updates, welcomed me to call to check on her, and promptly called the next morning to see how she was doing. Bella is doing great. Yesterday was my first time visiting this office. I brought 4 American Bullies at once. EVERY SINGLE PROFESSIONAL IN THIS OFFICE WAS AMAZING! There was zero judgment on my dogs. They talked to me through the whole process. They give you phones so you can talk with the Vet through the whole thing. They gave me options. I enjoyed the whole process. It was well worth the hour and 15 minute drive.

I was recommended this vet from a close family member for my first ever adopted kitten. I had an awful and a terrifying experience on my second visit. My main concern was how my baby was developing some abdominal fat around her lower belly. Just to be sure that it was nothing serious. During my visit I was informed that it could be some kind of cancerous cells that’s growing but at the same time I was also told that it’s unusual for such a young kitten to develop cancerous tissue. I was given $1100-$3000 bill and a surgery and I was told to make a decision instantly. I was also told that my cat could possibly die from anesthesia due to her being so young. I chose to just opt for a normal blood work and I was anxious for days and no one called me but instead I had to call them to which they said that my cat’s file was lost and was left in some other pile? Like how irresponsible, unprofessional and ruthless can you possibly be? I would never recommend this place to anyone. Avoid this practice, the doctors are irresponsible and this practice just wants your money and they can care less if your pet dies. Awful and terrible practice. You are supposed to be healing poor animals. Try to learn what empathy is before practicing any sort of medicine which you clearly weren’t taught to whatever shack vet school your awful doctors went to.
